My mum was a resident for 9 years at The Limes. She passed away in July 2024. She always received excellent care. The staff treated her with love and compassion. The management team were always available for any questions or updates. The home was always clean with no bad odours. Towards the end of her life everyone was very understanding and care from doctors, district nurses, carers was excellent. The company have an open policy on visiting which is a great help. The food is of a high standard and the medication set-up is very good.

A lovely welcome by all the team. Impressed with the efforts for celebrating Christmas. The atmosphere is very nice and the building is warm and cosy. The staff make the place so good. Keep up the great work and of course all patients really do appreciate what you do to care for them even though many cannot express. Thank you.

My Mother was admitted here in October 2024 and since then I have found the Care Home to be excellent. All the staff are amazing, very caring and compassionate and they go the extra mile. Also, they are happy to chat with you whilst you are there. The room my mother is in is freshly decorated, lovely furniture and she looks out onto the courtyard which is always dressed for seasonal events. I've already seen Halloween and Christmas, can't wait to see Easter now! I have seen fresh fruit delivered which is great. They have recently had a hair salon built and I understand a Cafe will be coming soon. I cannot recommend this Care Home highly enough.

The welcome, friendliness and support from the staff to us has been outstanding. Everyone treats my mother-in-law with respect and always takes her views into account. More variety of food at tea time and more fresh food, particularly fruit would be an improvement.

The staff are excellent - caring, professional, friendly and respectful. The facilities are currently being upgraded and have already improved greatly. Communication is very good so I am aware that there is a plan to upgrade the food. The addition of more fresh fruit and vegetables would be most welcome.

My Mum was very well cared for during her time at The Limes. The living facilities were always clean and hygienic and now they are being fully updated. What is most important is that the staff are very kind and friendly. They work extremely hard to make the residents feel at home, safe and make sure their personal care is a priority. The residents' mental well being is also a priority, with companionship and activities. The staff know everyone's name and take time to know their life stories, likes and dislikes. What I was most touched by was their care for my Mum during this month of her end of life. They also took time to make sure our family was coping as well. I cannot recommend The Limes highly enough. From day one dad has been made to feel very welcome. The staff are all approachable and very friendly. Fantastic place.

Very happy with level of care shown to my mum. Staff friendly and attentive. Always chatty and helpful. Helped my mum settle in a very difficult period of adjustment for her.

I tend to be a weekly visitor, I find all the staff to be extremely pleasant and friendly and I feel welcome. Telephone communications are dealt with efficiently. My friend's room seems adequate and the common areas seem clean and fulfill requirements. I am usually offered coffee and a biscuit.

The staff have been very helpful and caring with Mum. They always let me know if they have concerns about her. I feel she is well looked after. She has appreciated the outings and activities which have resumed post covid.

I cannot fault the care Mum is receiving. All the staff are kind, courteous and have endless patience. I would not hesitate to recommend The Limes to anyone requiring care. Thank you for all you do.

My mother has been at the Limes since February 2020. The care she receives is amazing. Everyone is so lovely and it is so reassuring that we know Mum is getting such outstanding care.

Nan came to the home a few months ago and was very unsettled. The staff have turned this around and have made her so settled and a feeling of home. She is very loved here.

They looked after my grandmother extremely well and made the last few weeks feel happy and safe. She was very well cared for and finally started to do some activities, such as knitting. Nanny was very well fed and a cup of tea was always available. Fantastic staff and home.

The Limes has been the ideal care home for my mother. Consistent high level of care and attentiveness for my mother has been fantastic for my mother. She has been in The Limes now for five years and the environment has been ideal for her, especially as she has required more care. Communication with me has also been great.

My sister is very well cared for and always very clean and tidy, when we come to visit. Due to covid, we have not been able to go inside the care home, but when we can, we will do so. All the staff are very nice and are always there to help, if needed. Overall, a very nice care home.

Given the unusual nature of admittance during Covid-19, I'm happy with everything I've seen to date. I know there are a few issues that are being addressed.
