View Full Details of Linden GrangeThis care home is wonderful! The staff from the manager to the catering staff never fail to deliver first-class care. My mum loves the staff and her life there. There's a range of activities where all are encouraged to participate. The food and cleanliness of the home is first-class. The activities coordinator works hard to give the residents a variety of experiences, both within and outside the home. Even small concerns are treated with kindness and honesty. The open door policy of the manager, deputy and senior staff is obvious and even residents families are encouraged to join in activities and be a part of this "big family". My mum has been here 4 years and never once have I had a concern for her wellbeing or care. For me, it's a truly wonderful care home. The respect and dignity with which Mum is treated that means the world to me. I don't have to worry about her and that's such a relief. A huge thank you to each and every staff member.
My mum has been resident at Linden Grange for the last 6 weeks. We have found all the staff to be actively caring and supportive to my mum's needs. She is involved in the daily activities receiving good quality food and drink whilst receiving 24 hour care. The care home is well run and gives me peace of mind that my mum is in the best place for her needs
My mum first went into Linden Grange for some respite after us caring for her at home. The move then became permanent, the home was fantastic helping with this because unfortunately my mum has dementia but no power of attorney is in place. The super friendly staff pointed me in the right direction whilst things were sorted. My mum thinks the place is ace and doesn't stop talking about the snap (food) and how clean it is. She talks about the place like she's on holiday in Spain in the 80's. The staff are great and the place is great.
Realising our Mum needed care 24/7 was a huge concern. After a bad fall, it became evident that Mum could no longer be safe living at home despite all the care we could give as a family. We researched several care homes in our home town and Linden Grange stood out on our first visit by far. The staff are professional, and caring and go above and beyond not only for Mum but us as a family. The home has a lovely warm home-like feeling and is very much an "open door" for us to visit anytime. Mum has settled really well she loves all the staff and enjoys all the activities the staff put on. This has been such a huge relief to find somewhere so "right" for mum, with staff who treat our mum as special as we do. Huge huge thanks.
After looking at many care homes we were very lucky to be offered a room for mum at Linden Grange. From day one everyone has been so welcoming. The manager and her team work to an exceptional standard. All of the staff are so caring and loving towards the residents. There are always lots of activities going on keeping everyone entertained. As a family this had been one of the hardest decisions we have had to make for our mum but seeing her so happy and settled I cannot be more grateful.
Mum went into Linden Grange in December 2022. I have found the staff very helpful, caring and considerate to all mum's needs. She has been to hospital twice and their concern has really impressed me. Everything I have asked for they have tried to comply with. You have an outstanding boss and a caring team.
Care provided has been excellent. My aunt recently moved into Linden Grange, and the staff couldn't do enough to settle her in and treasure my fear. I am given constant updates on her welfare and improvements in her health. Staff are welcoming regardless of the time I visit and happy to share the activities she has been taking part in.
Linden Grange is just truly wonderful. From our first meeting, all the staff are excellent, friendly and so caring. My mum wasn't eating when she came in but the team make sure she has what she needs or wants.
My mum has been in Linden Grange for two years with dementia and severe physical disability which means she cannot weight-bear on her legs. The level of physical and psychological care she receives is exceptional with wonderful compassion, friendliness and attention to her social and medical needs. I often visit and find staff chatting with her in her room. She never complains about feeling lonely, and for someone who was very social and always out, it is a testament to the staff that she is so content. Seasonal events such as Xmas and Easter are celebrated, and the home creates a welcoming and enjoyable occasion for everyone. Her room is always clean, tidy and homely with little touches like chocolates which staff bring in. I cannot commend the home highly enough.
The care, love and support I received during the time both my mum and dad stayed at Linden Grange was exceptional. This was in addition to the very high standard of care they both received at different times. Dad had built such wonderful relationships with all the staff whilst visiting Mum over many years, it was his chosen place to spend his final weeks where he felt close to Mum and knew he would be surrounded by amazing love and care from all the staff.
My mum is enjoying respite care with a view to a permanent placement. From the initial enquiry, we have experienced a friendly and professional service. Our initial visit involved a detailed tour of the home including the kitchen and laundry area. All staff were friendly and all our questions were answered. Since moving in Mum has had good care, lovely meals and quality food and embraced all the activities. Her room is well equipped, kept clean and the staff are always pleasant and supportive. I am able to visit with my little dog which means Mum can still see the dog and feel at home. I think we were lucky to find such a nice home from home.
Outstanding service. My mum had been poorly for a few weeks. One staff member was on the ball, brilliant carer, kind, considerate and just a lovely person. She called for paramedics and also rang myself. Mum was taken to hospital. What a team at Hartshill Grange! Several people got in touch while she was at hospital, even saying if she was staying in they would visit. Honestly, they go above and beyond with their care. I cannot complain about anyone there. Keep up the good work, you're all amazing people.
'I feel safe and well-loved' - these are words recently used by my mother to describe her care at Linden Grange. Mum is coming up to her second Christmas there, and she is settled, happy, and highly complimentary of the team who look after her. The team take a personal approach; they regularly display interest in Mum as an individual, with all her quirks and cheek. The manager is very open and approachable - she is keen to ensure her residents are looked after physically and socially. She operates an open-door policy which invites straightforward resolution of requests and concerns should you have any. There is a settled core team, which is very important when you do not live close by - it gives peace of mind that the care is consistent. A super job from a committed, well-trained team - thank you.
This home deserves outstanding as they all work hard to keep to a high standard of care with respect and dignity towards residents and families, the manager does a great job to maintain this. When I visit my mother who has lived at the home for the last four years I never felt at any point any concerns for her well-being.
My mum and I feel that we were very fortunate to find Linden Grange. Mum has been a resident in this excellent care home for over 5 years and has recently celebrated her 95th Birthday. Mum is very content, praises the team for their kindness and caring approach and speaks highly of the meals provided. From my perspective I feel that the manager is excellent with a highly committed team. On the odd occasion where I have felt the need to raise concern, the manager and the senior members of the team are not only approachable but keen to resolve issues. During the year prior to making Linden Grange her home, Mum had not only suffered 4 serious falls but was also struggling with her mental well-being. I can honestly say I feel that had Mum not moved into Linden Grange I would not now have my mum to visit. Mum is safe and content, her social and well-being needs are met and that makes me very happy. I can’t thank the manager and her team enough.
When I first approached the home, we knew my mother was in need of specialised support. After making what may have sounded like a desperate call for help, the care home assessor arrived and genuinely listened to my concerns and then met my mother. Within hours, Linden Grange confirmed that they had capacity to home my mother and take care of her needs. They were kind and caring throughout this process and within a couple of weeks, my mother had settled into a spacious room. When we visit now (our visits are unannounced), she always appears clean, with well-kept hair - thanks to the salon that is located on-site. She sits pert and cross-legged on her bed and maintains a conversation with vast improvement to her short-term memory. She tells me that she enjoys good relationships with her fellow residents and has her favourites amongst the staff. The positive transformation is phenomenal and we remain forever grateful for the attentive care shown to us all.
Linden Grange has been looking after my aunt for around twelve months and in this time they have helped her with hearing aid problems by liaising with the hospital, some emergency spectacle repair as well as making her feel safe and secure, which she was no longer able to do at home. She has enjoyed the activities including arts and crafts for which she now has a couple of little trophies! The home is bright and clean and staff friendly so we always feel welcome visiting.
My first impression of Linden Grange was very good. Mum has only been there just over two weeks but all the staff and managers have been really caring, kind, and respectful. Anything Mum has needed medically and personally they have dealt with straight away.
Linden Grange is a lovely care home managed and run by a team of very kind and considerate people who treat the residents like their own family. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude for looking after my mum for 5 and a half years. Families of residents can visit at any time of the day without notice and are always welcome.
My grandparents have found a real home at Linden Grange. They are treated as individuals with respect and are able to be together at a time of their lives when they both need additional help and support. Linden Grange staff care for them, making connections with their personalities and learning how to support them best for their individual needs. It lifts a heavy burden on my family, knowing they are well looked after so that we can focus our time on enjoying seeing them and being a family together.
