I feel very nice here and the staff are doing an amazing job. I like the food and activities are very relevant. My room is very clean thank you so much. Activity lady is going amazing job. Loving painting and arts and crafts session involving making a memory tree. I really enjoyed this activity.

Many thank for the care given to my mum in the last 10 years. I have always known that she has been in safe and caring hands and well looked after. Communication has always been excellent between the home and family. Once again many thanks.

Brilliant home. Very welcoming, care standards are high and spotless. I can highly recommend this home. I am more than happy to leave my brother-in-law here.

This was short term emergency respite care, I have always been apprehensive about using this service, however, it surpassed my expectations. The allocated room was nicely furnished with its own toilet and sink and very clean. I found the management and staff to be very friendly, kind, caring and courteous to both myself and my mum. I cannot thank the Manager and her team enough for the kindness they have shown to mum. The only improvement I could suggest would be intermittent air fresheners strategically placed.

This care home has gone above and beyond for my grandmother, she was really well looked after and managed to do things during her time here that she wouldn't have ever got to do. She was happy and contented here. All the staff are incredible and really friendly. A huge thank you to all the staff, it really is a lovely care home.

Both my father in law and mother in law had been living at Holmewood Care Home this year until both of them passed away. The care they both recieved was 100%. Nothing is to much trouble for the carers, even when both of them were on palliative care, they would watch them right to the end. The entertainment lady is so good with the residents, taking them out on outings, doing things in the home with them, singing in the rooms when poorly. Also the manager in the home will do anything to help, always comes around to speak to the residents and puts a lot of work into the home. I would highly recommend this home. The cleaners do the rooms everyday.

My father is a resident, he has been at Holmewood Care Home since February 2024 and settled immediately thanks to the lovely atmosphere and loving staff and carers. He is well cared for and seems genuinely happy and content. My Mum and I visit several times a week and he is always well dressed and clean. His room and the communal areas are tidy. Dad has had a few health issues since moving in, but we are always kept well informed, he is well monitored and cared for when poorly and timely medical attention sought if necessary. The food is good, Dad eats well and is encouraged to stay hydrated with drinks he will enjoy. Cannot fault the dedication of the staff, they work so hard.

My grandad has improved significantly since admission to Holmewood Care Home, he is much brighter in his mood, has more colour in his cheeks and overall seems really well. The staff here have been absolutely fantastic and such a brilliant support in what has been a very difficult time. I cannot thank them enough!

This care home is really the best I could wish for, for dad. Everywhere is always so clean and tidy. The menu is better than what I'd ever imagained. Every single member of staff is amazing and very friendly. I can well and truly recommend this place to anyone.

The care home did not know that my son and I were visiting. We were greet at the entrance with cheerful staff. We happened to arrive just as activities were starting, making Christmas cards, a quiz and some singing. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Thank you.

Mum is doing really well here. She is very well looked after by all the care staff who are really caring from my experience they go above and beyond to help the residents with their individual needs and to make sure they stay safe.

I cannot thank the manager and her dedicated team enough for looking after my mum. The staff go the extra mile to make sure all the residents have all the care and attention they need at whatever time of day or night. The activities lady makes sure the residents have plenty to do to keep them entertained. My mum has just had her birthday and it was one of the best!

Grandad came in and is really happy. All the staff are lovely and accommodating and have made him feel extremely welcome and well looked after. Lovely staff and people here.

A really fun afternoon with musicians singing 50s and 60s for dancing and staff making everyone welcome to join in. Lovely refreshments of juices and finger refreshments. Thank you everyone.

From the warm welcome, the smiles of all the staff, their enthusiasm, and their obvious affection for all the residents are there for all in the building. Nothing is too much trouble, I'm kept informed about Mum every step of her stay. I always recommend this care home whenever anyone asks how Mum's doing.

My aunt has been in the home for a week and has settled in very well. The staff are kind and attentive, her room homely and bright and the management informative and approachable. It's early days but so far my aunt and the family are very happy with their choice of care home.

A very friendly care home, food very good, all service users, very helpful. My friend is always showered and nice and clean and shaved. Lovely people here and also the manager is lovely and very helpful.

I am very pleased with the care my sister-in-law has received. We have found the staff have been very kind and professional with her care which has been appreciated. We would highly recommend the care home.

My father has been at the Holmewood Care Home for approximately eight months, and we are very happy with his care. We are always made to feel welcome when we visit him. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, from management to domestic staff, and the carers are always available if we need any advice. My father enjoys the entertainment provided, and he is very happy there. Would recommend the care home to anyone.
