View Full Details of Perth HouseMy 94year old mother spent just over a week there in that time 40 pounds was taken from her purse, I complained to the home, on investigation the 40 pounds was accounted for on her admission to the facility, obviously wasn't there on departure the room was checked I was told after several discussions by phone with the home manager i was told this was taken very seriously staff were briefed ect , but was then told there is no policy in place to return this, which I found pretty disgusting, they have admitted guilt but now won't pay back the money so just a warning to others who admit elderly relatives ect please make sure they have no cash or valuables on entry as obviously there is chance other things might go missing too, it has left a very bitter taste tbh.
At first I thought the Perth House was bare no pictures art work, very sterile in its interior. But that is insignificant in light of the superb care and individual attention a resident recieves whilst staying there. It was spotlessly clean. The meals provided were amazing thanks to the chef and kitchen team. The care given to my mum was excellent. She was there for 2 weeks following a hospital admission /discharge for a broken pelvis as well as several other health needs. My mum was treated with the utmost dignity and all of her needs addressed. Including rehabilitation getting her walking again and enabling her to develop self worth. A big thank you to all who work there.
My mum was placed here for rehabilitation after leaving the hospital. She had a fractured pelvis and needed support to become independent again. She spent only three days here. The care and support she received here was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They were always ready to help. Catering is done on-site, and the food was very good, she said. A very pleasant experience for her, which helped reduce her anxiety about care homes. It would be nice if they were all like this. A very big thank you to all the staff there.
