View Full Details of Cherrytree Care HomeMy mum seems to be very well cared for at Cherry Tree. The staff are very kind and supportive, including supporting my mum with things like hospital visits. During all the visits I've made to Cherry Tree I've found it to be clean with all residents appearing well cared for. I've always been able to have good, constructive talks with all management and senior carers at the care home and everyone seems responsive. Recently, when my mum has had to receive some attention from a GP, the staff have been kind enough to update me on quite a few occasions by calling me to let me know the outcome of a GP visit. There have been a couple of occasions where I felt I needed to prompt staff to take just a few extra steps to support mum, but in general the care has been really very good. As mentioned in some other reviews, the staff here really are the stars of the show.
My Step father was placed at the Cherry Tree care home due to his Parkinson's conditions. Genuinely couldn't have asked for a better service that the staff and Managment have provided whilst my step father was being cared for. Management always had time if I needed any advice etc and was always updated if any issues that needed to know regarding my step father. Thank you for a wonderful service Cherry Tree.
Very emotional time putting family into a care home but was made totally at ease by the staff and there detail to making someone comfortable and happy. Couldn't praise the home enough, it really is an amazing environment for my uncle to be cared for comfortably and, us as a family, knowing he is well looked after and the staff actually care for there service users. Keep up the good work.
The care that my dad is receiving is very good. The staff are incredibly kind and gentle with him and most of his needs are met. As he isn't mobile, it is great the staff are getting him out of bed and into a special armchair with wheels so he can be positioned in the lounge where he can be part of things and look out of the window. My dad seems mostly happy and content. There are times however, when I have to ask the staff a number of times for things to be done for my dad. I feel that the intention to do the things is there but it is forgotten about. I am sure that most of the time, this is due to the staff being very busy. Cherrytree Care Home is quite tired inside and out and the weeds and cobwebs could be cleared away. I'd like to cheer my dad's room up by putting up pictures and hanging the curtains properly. However, after many promises that it'll get done, it hasn't which is frustrating. I visit my dad most days and it's clear that are staff are the shining stars of this care home.
We are happy that our mum is being looked after 24/7. She warm, comfortable and fed. My sister and I are pleased knowing mum is getting the care she needs. We know she can be difficult sometimes but the carers cope with her well.
Our dad had been a resident for most of 2024 and was very unwell for most of that time until his recent passing. The care he has received at Cherrytree Care Home has been second to none. Not only did they take amazing care of him, they also looked after my mum who was vulnerable and who spent a lot of time visiting. They always kept an eye on her and reported any concerns to us. I will be forever grateful to all the staff at Cherrytrees for the care and love shown to dad, my mum and all the other residents. It was always obvious that everyone was being taken care of extremely well. Thank you so much. I wouldn't hesitate in using your services again should the need ever arise.
Our stepdad has been at Cherrytree Care Home since February 2024, the care he has received has been outstanding and he has thrived since having his needs met. The way they have also looked after our mum who visits every day, goes above and beyond and they treat her with compassion, empathy and understanding of her dementia. Every member of staff that we've met has been welcoming, kind and only too happy to help if needed.
We have been blessed in having the amazing staff provide end of life care for our dad. Everyone involved in his care has invariably been attentive, kind, interested, professional and knowledgeable. As visitors, we were always warmly welcomed and supported. Thank you all so much.
My aunt has been a resident of Cherrytree Care Home for a number of years now and I find the carers at the home supportive and caring. Nothing is too much for them. All of the residents are well looked after. They are welcoming to everyone.
I have found Cherrytree Care Home to be very well run and very kind and caring and looking after everyone very well.
I am especially impressed with the carers who work at the home. I have witnessed kindness and patience on every visit and as a visitor one feels welcome. The surroundings are pleasant inside and pretty well spaced out for seating, making the atmosphere cordial.
I consulted my two brothers, who, like me, have visited the home regularly, before submitting the following: Several weeks ago my mother became a resident at Cherrytree Care Home. She had recently lost her sight and was no longer able to live safely in her own home. She was made very welcome from the outset. The staff are gentle, attentive and kind. They are highly skilled and experienced; they know the needs of each resident and it's clear that they enjoy the work. My mother has settled in well in spite of her disability, and has even managed to take part in some of the activities. It's always a happy experience when we visit. Many thanks to the carers, the nurses, the managers - and I must not forget the cleaners. Everything is spotless.
My mum is a resident at Cherrytree and has been here a good few months now, she was taken on an assignment basis and now needs permanent care there. From the moment I went to see the home until now I would give this home 5 stars all day every day. The care and support they offer is just incredible, every single member of staff is amazing, I wanted my mum to be looked after and cared for in a way as if she were their mum and that is exactly what she receives, the care and companion is just the best, we as a family will always be truly thankful.
I cannot praise everyone working at Cherrytree enough, from staff who are so caring and kind to Mum, to management for their efficient running of the home. Although Mum suffers with dementia, she is always happy and has a smile on her face. Thank you all!
Mum is cared for very well. I am kept informed of any problems. I can see her whenever I want. I can see Mum in the home anywhere I choose, downstairs or in her bedroom with her.
My very dear friend is currently at this care home awaiting assessment. I cannot praise the management and staff enough. They are so kind and caring to her, no matter how busy they are, they cannot do enough for us to make sure we’re ok. I am fairly certain that my friend needs to live in a care home and I will have no hesitation in asking if she can stay there. Thank you Cherrytree.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Cherrytree Care Home and I was impressed by the level of attentiveness, responsibility and caring displayed by the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that the residents were comfortable and well-cared for. I was particularly impressed by their willingness to listen to the residents and address their concerns promptly. Overall, I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable and caring environment for their loved ones.
I recently had the privilege of entrusting the care of my loved one to Cherrytree Care Home and I cannot emphasise enough how impressed I am with the level of care and compassion provided by this facility. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was evident that Cherrytree Care Home is more than just a care home, it's a place where residents are treated like family. The staff at Cherrytree Care Home are truly exceptional. They are not only highly skilled and experienced professionals but they also possess a genuine warmth and kindness that instantly put our minds at ease. They take the time to get to know each resident individually, understanding their unique needs, preferences and personalities. The level of personalised attention and care they provide is remarkable and it's evident that they have a true passion for what they do.
I’m so happy with Cherrytree Care Home and the service they provide to my grandmother, she is well looked after. We get such a fantastic welcome when we come to visit, the staff are so friendly and the communal areas are so clean. My grandmother has such a lovely room and is always kept clean. She is so happy there with the management making sure all residents are safe, clean and warm, I can’t fault any of the team. Thank you for taking care of her, you're all amazing.
This is the worst care home and I use the word care loosely. We had to move our father because they never looked after him properly. He was dirty he lost a lot of weight. I could go on but it won’t make any difference but if you have a loved one that you care about, do not put them in this place.
