My aunt's introduction to living at Hunters Lodge Residential Care Home has been superb! I can't thank the management team and all the care staff enough for their care and support in helping her to settle in so quickly. It has been wonderful to see her so relaxed, happy and so at ease with her new surroundings. You have all done an amazing job and I can't thank you enough.

My dad has been at Hunters Lodge for nearly a year now. The care and support he receives is amazing, he always looks smart and well-kept with a smile on his face. He displays challenging behaviour during personal care and the staff are amazing with him. The communication between Hunters Lodge and myself is brilliant, I am kept informed of any concerns or problems. Keep up the amazing work.

The care my Father-in-Law has received from Hunters Lodge Residential Care Home, has been second to none. All the staff are friendly, approachable and provide the best possible care. It was not our choice to put our relative into a care home, circumstances made that for us, yet this has proved time and time again to have been the best decision. We know our family member is being well looked after and is always happy and well taken care of when we get to see him. Any problems we are contacted straight the way and the lines of communication are always open day or night. Five stars from us. We do think Hunters lodge has a friendly welcoming feel, that said it could do with updating in some areas, not that that reflects on the care given. Fantastic team and fantastic home.

I cannot ever fault Hunters Lodge Residential Care Home. The care in this home is faultless. The staff are amazing and the Management are the best I have ever come across. Mum has been in two previous homes and neither of them met her needs. Mum settled in immediately and loves all the freshly made food they put in front of her. Mum is in her own happy world and loves the staff.

First rate. The staff are caring, kind and competent. Management is hands-on and effective. The home gives off a feeling of calm and my father is much happier than he was before. The rooms are a reasonable size and the setting is gorgeous, with the church just over the lane. They have a visiting chiropodist and hairdresser, so everything is catered for. The main thing for me, however, is that the residents all seem comfortable and content, with strong medication being seldom used. I don't hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend this service.

My Grandmother is very happy and content here, great care, very clean, staff are very attentive, lots of activities, lovely meals and a real homely feel. Sadly we can't take care of granny but we have comfort knowing, our granny feels like she is at home, thank you to the wonderful staff for the care you provide

Every member of staff always have a smile on their face, as they deal with every situation with professionalism and respect. Always giving 100%, they make sure to deliver person-centred care, taking time to find strategies to match each service user's specific needs. Hunters Lodge works hard to make the environment homely. The cooks take into account preferences and needs to tempt even the smallest of appetites. This care home puts safety and the service users' happiness at the core of everything they do.

The care home is excellent, the staff are very caring, food is good. The staff are very polite and the manager is amazing, she always keeps in contact with me.

My mum has been a resident in Hunters Lodge for the last year. She has been treated very well and has settled well. The staff are wonderful and have treated her so lovely, respecting her dignity and her needs. The management have always answered all my queries and acted on any of my concerns. My family and I are very happy with the care she is being given. We are very grateful to them all.

When visiting, I'm always greeted by friendly staff. They are always on hand to help with anything. Last visit was at lunchtime. Food was freshly cooked, and felt a lovely calm atmosphere with staff and residents. Always clean and fresh.

Fantastic time here, the setting for Hunters Lodge is lovely, and very peaceful. the staff are amazing and always go the extra mile. They are extremely friendly. Plenty of great food and drink. The issue of medication is given responsible. I can't state in words just how great this place is.

Fantastic care home with real attention to all aspects of the service provided. After exchanges with other cars homes previously, I can comfortably say this is a great facility. From the level of communication to the quality of food provided, everything is accounted for. With everything combined, it makes leaving a family member here a gratified experience from start to finish.

I don't usually write reviews but felt the need to express my views on the outstanding service provided by Hunters Lodge residential care home. I would like to express my gratitude for all the care, professional service and kindness the staff at the home have provided to my husband. They at all stages went above and beyond and could not do enough for us as a family to ensure he was settled and very comfortable. My husband was made welcome from the moment he moved in and was very happy there, he even started to call it home. The care home should be acknowledged for all the hard work and individual care shown to each resident and is highly recommended by us. On behalf of myself and all my family, we thank you.

My Grandfather has been a resident of Hunters Lodge Residential Care Home for a number of years and every time we speak over the phone he's always in the best mood. He loves the staff and he's always well taken care of. Our family is so grateful for the attention and dedication of Hunters Lodge Residential Care Home. Thank you so much.

Mum was a resident for 18 months at the home where she was treated with respect and the utmost care before passing in January 2022. It was very important that Mum received professional care for advancing dementia whilst at Hunters Lodge, where she became a well-loved resident and benefitted from the engaging and respectful care staff. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention paid to Mum during her last few months. The facilities and structures at Hunters Lodge are of a very high quality and the particular attention paid to Mum with regards to her advancing dementia care was very good. Visiting was a challenge for all during the Covid pandemic, but the staff at Hunters Lodge were steadfast in their attention to the regulations whilst being mindful of the important need for Mum to meet with my father regularly to maintain their essential relationship.

It took 3 tries to find the right care home for my father and I have to say it was 3rd time lucky! I am so grateful for Hunters Lodge and their incredibly kind, compassionate and hard-working staff. My father unfortunately has many underlying health problems so each day can be a battle for him and we take each day as it comes. On his bad days when he is in pain or not feeling well the carers are so attentive and do their best to put a smile on his face. There was one evening I visited because he wasn’t feeling well and one of the lady carers was humming a lullaby to him to help alleviate him feeling nauseous, this almost brought a tear to my eye. It makes the world of a difference to know he is being well looked after. Thank you Hunters Lodge!

I couldn't recommend the Hunters Lodge enough. The staff (kitchen, carers, security) are happy and helpful and the care that my grandfather received was exemplary. My grandfather was especially happy with the food.
