Excellent service, staff are super friendly and helpful. A lovely place for my grandmother to live. She talks very highly of the staff, the food and the activities. I would highly recommend Saffron House to people in need of this service.
The staff are amazing at Saffron House and could not do enough for my mother. Thank you all. The nurse was very helpful at a difficult time for our family. We were aloud to come and go as though it was her own home.
Mum has been in Saffron House for few weeks. She has really settled well and the staff are so thoughtful and kind. The manager is very approachable and the activity person is really bubbly, she works really hard in getting mum to take part in the lounge
Saffron House is a very caring, happy and relaxing place for the elderly. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Food is excellent and everything is done to make the residents feel like it's a comfy home to live in.
My sister had very severe dementia and was unable to care for herself at home. She passed away recently. During all this time she was cared for by the carers and senior carers with respect and nothing was too much for them. They thought an awful lot of her and treated her as they would have done for a family member. We had no worries, as we know she was safe and very well looked after. They kept us informed of any health problems and made sure they were brought to the attention of ourselves and the medics. Overall, it was a warm and very friendly care home for my sister and for ourselves. I'm glad she went into Saffron House and thank all the staff, managers and carers for how they looked after her. I would have no worries recommending Saffron House because of this care they gave. It was excellent.
I found the home clean and tidy and the staff very friendly and helpful - always happy to help.
Mum was very well looked after, and the staff are fantastic. I would recommend Saffron House.
My mother-in-law came into the home back in May this year. She was very anxious when she arrived, but the care and treatment she has received have been excellent. Whenever I come to visit, she is full of smiles. When I visited last week, she said how the staff always offer to help me, and it was lovely to see all the residents enjoying the entertainment that comes into sing.
My dear friend has been at Saffron House for a few months now. She is very happy there, and she likes all the staff and the food. Her room is lovely with her pictures on the wall, and it is cleaned every day.
My nan moved into Saffron House in June and is so happy. The staff are kind and caring and always make her smile. Her room is clean and tidy, and we are always welcomed with a smile.
The care and kindness my mum receives are excellent from the manager and all of her staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Always greeted with a smile from everyone, and always kept extremely well informed of any problems/health issues. We never have any worries about Mum as we know she is in very safe hands. Would highly recommend this home to anyone as feel it is of a standard that all care homes should aspire to.
All staff have been pleasant and helpful.
Could not praise the home enough for everything they have done for Mum and keeping her safe during these uncertain times. The visits have been well organised and very efficient. Staff have done a great job, even when the family’s turned up out of the blue during my visit, they still tried to accommodate them where they could. Staff have been amazing, well organised by management. I praise the admin who managed to cope with all us family members trying to get visitors just before lockdown. Thank you.
These care staff are very good and attentive to my mum from what I seen so far and can’t fault that. The only issue really I have is with the booking system to see mum as I when I called yesterday I was told 'I can’t book today and that I will have to call Monday as I think it’s booked for next week' (I was told booking is all done by computer so to be told I 'think', in my eyes was personal). I was so upset by the way I was dealt with so my stepdad called and he was booked in where I was told they couldn’t, to my surprise. I was promised callbacks twice which I never received. Admin told my stepdad 'he will turn up won't he as I cancelled twice.' I explained and called to cancel that I had migraines which I lost my sight and I have 4 or 5 a month. Unfortunately, I had these migraines on the day. So for the admin team not very sympathetic by their comments to my stepdad and this is pure without prejudice. I just feel that they didn’t want to deal with me and saw me as hindrance.
We had to put my father and mother in law in Saffron House for respite care after mother in law had a fall. They were both respected and treated with dignity from all members of staff. We and they found the staff very friendly and we could not fault the care that was provided to them during their four week stay.
Mum has been in Saffron House for six months with severe dementia. The care provided by the staff has been excellent and the facilities are very good. After a short stay in Saffron House my father passed away there in March 2016 and the end of life care provided by the staff was excellent.
My mum suffers from dementia and her sight and learning are not good and also limited mobility. After visiting 5 homes we chose this one and have never regretted our choice. All our family have been welcomed by the staff whatever time we visit. The care my mums is given is excellent. She is always clean and comfy and cared for well medically. The food is excellent and her room clothes etc are lovely. Most importantly we are kept well informed by staff of how she is and any medical problems etc. Well done all of you for the excellent care given.
My mum has been living at Saffron House for 18 months. The carers and staff are wonderful. Very kind and caring and mum has been as happy as someone who has Alzheimer's can be. She enjoys the food and activities such as singers and entertainers, Pat the dog and church services. The home has experienced some management issues in the past but the home are working really hard to address these and things are going well.
My mother has been in Saffron House for 18 months and I have always found the staff very very caring. When she had a fall they phoned me straight away. Before we set off in the ambulance they made sandwiches for us to take in case we were in there a long time. The entertainment is very good singers, animals, bingo etc. I cannot fault all of the staff and hope mum is happy there for many years to come.
