The care my mum received was excellent the care love and friendliness was the best. Not only did this apply to mum, it was extended to her family as well. The support to the family was amazing. Thank you so much to everyone you have all been brilliant.

When myself and my sister first started the process of looking for a care home for our grandma, we didn't need to do much searching. We knew Scalford Court was the best, and she would feel happy and comfortable there. We weren't wrong. When Grandma first entered the building, and was greeted by the lovely staff and a wonderful welcoming spread, she said "this is the place for me!" The staff have been wonderful, they are all beautiful caring individuals, and gave my grandma the best care. She suffered from dementia, and all her needs were catered for, and all members of staff made our grandma feel loved. I cannot express enough, how at home you feel at Scalford Court. The cleanliness is top-tier level, along with the professional care given. Thank you all, for looking after our grandma so well.

All the management and staff at Scalford Court are so very friendly, understanding and professional. They always have their residents best interest at heart, and nothing is too much trouble. They understand the feelings and emotions of the family as well as their residents. I could not ask for a more loving and caring home from my father to live safely in.

Scalford Court has provided exemplary care for my father. The staff are genuinely caring, helpful and enthusiastic. Since my father's arrival there, his health has improved and he has gained weight. The setting is very pleasant and comfortable, and the food is excellent! Managers are also on hand to speak to and very approachable. Can’t recommend Scalford Court high enough.

I am very satisfied with the care that my Mum receives at Scalford Court Care Home. The staff are as attentive as they can be, sometimes they can be stretched when busy.

Extremely welcoming, friendly family home. All the staff are lovely to me and I believe my dad says some are happier/better than others (some don't want to be there). Everywhere is always clean apart from on some occasions dads commode hasn't been cleaned out and subsequently, his room has smelt. They lose his underwear and some clothes too, but names haven't been put in. Dads room is very small!

Overall very pleased with the staff, but the main issue is waiting time when the bell is pressed (when needing the toilet).

Scalford Court have provided care for my uncle and grandfather. They ensured that my grandad kept his dignity whilst suffering with dementia. They cared for him when the family couldn't. He enjoyed the food, had a room that he was able to hang pictures. The staff became his friends. He particularly enjoys the crafts.

Scalford Court has caring staff; they are very friendly and helpful. The staffs approach to my mother’s individual care needs are excellent and she is always treated with dignity and respect. The food is varied, nutritious and delicious and nothing is too much trouble for the kitchen staff to meet mothers needs. I am really happy that my mother is in their care.

The care my father received in the last 2 years of his life has enabled him to see out his years in dignity with support, care and compassion. This has given me, his daughter, comfort and confidence as his health and mental capacity deteriorated. Dad was happy at Scalford court in his comfortable room and I would gladly recommend this care home to others.

My mum is very well looked after in a homely, happy and calm environment. The staff always show respect to the residents and treat them with care and a positive attitude. Both staff and management have taken the time to get to know my mum and understand her, which enables them to monitor her health very closely and which has made her feel secure in an unfamiliar environment. As a family, we are made to feel very welcome when we visit, and any concerns or issues have been dealt with promptly.

Since my wife became a resident (Sept 2017) I have gradually come to understand and appreciate how a care home operates within what is achievable and practical. Getting the balance right is not easy a few manage to get even close to ideal. In my personal opinion, Scalford Court Care Home has excelled in getting it right in each of the critical areas namely very good and approachable management, compassionate care, excellent healthy food and outstanding mixes of organised activities for the residents. The home is staffed by lovely caring folk who interface with all the residents creating such a wonderful atmosphere of humour and intelligent help where needed. They have to sometimes cope with both physical and mental stress but from my experience are always able to generate laughter in any suitable situation. The kitchen procedures a lovely mix of very tasty food to appeal to most appetites but the staff are hidden away in the kitchen but nevertheless are critical in the care process. I personally believe that the activities arranged at Scalford Court are second to none and again have major positive effects on both staff and residents. The two ladies who organise these features obviously put in a lot of hard work under sometimes challenging conditions but always with wonderful humour.

Beautiful setting and grounds. Plenty of staff who all make my mother feel very welcome and comfortable. Good activities and trips to keep residents stimulated and engaged.

You gave our aunt an extra five years of living and a very happy home to live in. She was content and well cared for and her family were always made more than welcome. We cannot thank you enough or recommend you more highly.

From day one my husband settled in and felt at home in Scalford Court. He had a cheeky personality and a naughty sense of humour. The staff were brilliant at joining in with him, therefore, enabling him to retain this to the very end. The ambience of the home was perfect for him. He enjoyed his food and ate well. If required, a doctor was called for immediately. The care he received took so much worry and anxiety away from myself and our daughter. He enjoyed his final years. I have no doubt he lasted as long as he did because he was not only cared for but cherished and happy. Thank you Scalford Court.

My mother was very well looked after by the staff at Scalford Court. She was always shown courtesy and kindness throughout her 5-year stay. Her personal hygiene was always taken care of, including having her hair done by a professional hairdresser. She thoroughly enjoyed the meals that were prepared for her, and her family were always welcome to join her. There were activities for the residents to join in every day and outside speakers as well as visits from the children of a local primary school. The staff and management were very approachable and friendly. I would recommend Scalford Court without reservation.

My relative is well looked after by staff in the home. Residents are well fed and kept clean and tidy and are encouraged to join in activities. Staff are very approachable and any concerns are dealt with immediately. I would certainly recommend this care home.
