View Full Details of Silver BirchesI came here 2 weeks ago very apprehensive but there was no need. I have been looked after very well. The staff are excellent, the food is good and clean rooms. All staff are excellent.
My mum has been here for 18 months. Been very well looked after, care needs are met and staff are hardworking. Room adequate.
Moved in at the request of the council after a back operation. Treated very well and looked after by the staff and management. The staff are all very nice and friendly.
Discharged from rehab hospital to care home to continue with recovery. I am making good progress with my condition whilst here and the home is supporting my ongoing treatments.
Very friendly and helpful. Nice and cosy atmosphere. Nice rooms.
Good care, staff are pleasant and helpful. My cousin who has learning difficulties is content and considers his room, his flat.
My dad was on respite care at Silver Birches, even though his stay was short, the staff were absolutely amazing. The care he received was brilliant we couldn’t have asked for better care. The home was spotless, and welcoming, my dad enjoyed his stay and in the future if needed we would definitely use Silver Birches again. My dad felt at home there, which was a relief to us all. It was overall a great home.
After looking at several different homes to place my mum. We chose Silver Birches. Due to the homeliness and warmth we felt from looking around, the staff all seemed amazing. And seemed as they generally care for each and every other service user there, my mum has now been there 5 months and we couldn't have been happier to have chosen Silver Birches. It was such a difficult decision to have to place our mum in a home. But she's happy and most of all safe. The staff have all been amazing, the care is more than we could have asked for. Since being at Silver Birches my mum's mood has been great which was a concern as it was a new environment for her. We were there the past Saturday for a Mother's Day bingo and we all had a lovely time my mum most of all has been the happiest we have seen her. As a family, we appreciate everything the staff have done and continue to do.
My dad was in this care home for two weeks and almost had a breakdown. Needs updating and brightening up. He had his wallet go missing whilst here and never found, he was left to sit down all day with others and it was like he was just left waiting to die in a madhouse. The most awful experience I have ever had and would not wish for anyone to go here. I was told they reported him to the police as he had left his room at night and entered another person's room confused? He has dementia. No details of police officers details were given just a first name? Would not recommend to anyone.
Lovely homely home the staff are excellent. The care of the residents is outstanding.
My mum moved into Silver Birches at the end of November. All the staff have been very welcoming to Mum and have helped her settle down, making her and us feel very welcome. My mum likes her surroundings, especially her room, which we have been able to put pictures and ornaments in. My mum's eating improved since she has been in Silver Birches. The staff are all friendly and myself and my siblings are made to feel welcome.
Small, friendly and clean. Carers are on hand all the while. Mum likes the exercise and singing. She can go to bed when ready. Also the food is great - different every day.
This home is very clean. The staff are very efficient and look after the in mates so well. The food is really nice and the care is brilliant. They treat her with dignity and they treat me the same. She is wanted there and loved.
