View Full Details of Bramhall Residential HomeMy mother passed away on the 16th of January 2025. I would like to thank all the staff and management for the care they gave my mum and the help they gave me as well. It gave me peace of mind knowing my mother was cared for 24/7. Could not ask for a better place and people who cared for my mother. A team of dedicated, kind, caring, thoughtful and helpful people at the home. Could not ask for better, 5 stars from me and a big thank you!
Staff are extremely helpful, cheerful on most occasions and very obliging. Food is edible and two choices are offered the day before. Overall, the food is goo, a little less gravy and pastry would be an improvement and a bit more fresh fruit.
Overall this is a very good, caring and safe home. My mum is always well looked after and kept occupied. I do sometimes find the visiting hours limiting, with working full-time I usually resort to visiting at weekends, as I can not fit in with the home hours. You can visit on an evening as an exception but then you usually can't find anyone to let you out.
After a year-plus of twice weekly day care, both our mothers, with dementia, came in as full-time residential care. Already knowing staff and routine, both settled in quickly. After five years of living full-time with my husband and myself, we were happy with the way they soon settled, this was made possible by the wonderful carers and management team.
The care my mum has received has been given, so far, in Bramhall Residential Home has exceeded my expectations. The staff are unfailingly positive, friendly and helpful. They all show a level of care, compassion and empathy which is delightful to see. My mum has improved so much physically since she came to the home after her stroke which is, in no small part, due to the efforts of the staff. All the wonderful staff and management deserve great credit for their part in a very well-run home.
We have always found the staff friendly and helpful. Our visits are unannounced but we are always welcome and find my mother in good fettle, clean and as happy as possible in herself. The staff seem to try different activities each day to make life more interesting and sociable.
The staff are always very kind, caring and helpful. They understand the different situations that arise and are always thoughtful when these situations arise. We have not had any problems with anything and would not hesitate to recommend Bramhall Residential Home to anyone, they do a lot with the residents and have never had any cause to have any concerns.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome and nothing is a problem. Since my relative has been at Bramhall Residential Home, she has her spark back. Thank you so much everyone.
Management and staff do a great job looking after my mum. I am contacted regularly by the manager on updates as I live in Scotland and only able to visit every three months. Management and staff are very welcoming when I visit. I am very happy with the provision of care.
The care home is very accommodating to my needs. The staff are always welcoming and smiling and treat my wife as family.
My wife has Alzheimer's and I had been looking for over two years to find help with daycare but could not find anywhere to take her. Then Bramhall was recommended. So I went and looked. I set up for her to go for a day to see how she got on. The staff are very good with her and get on very well. She is happy to go two times a week and looks forward to it. The staff are wonderful with her. It gives me peace of mind that she is in a safe place so I can have some time to myself.
Mum was well cared for. Staff were very pleasant and any concerns prior to her stay were dealt with straight away. Mum would be happy to stay again for respite. Thank you.
Very pleasant experience - I had two weeks of respite care following a fall. The room was well-furnished and comfortable and food was good. The staff were all very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They all worked together to make a very happy atmosphere.
My aunt had in-house care at Bramhall during four years continuously. We chose well; the care offered was the very best. The staff, without exception, for the beginning to her final hour were so caring and thoughtful towards me too; even helping me keep close contact with her during my family visits to Australia. Always encouraging, they kept her walking and looking so good. All exceptional.
This is the second time my wife has been in Bramhall and although only for two weeks, her stay has been most beneficial for her. The care and attention afforded her has been of the highest order and is an example I will strive to equal when she returns home! Since she is unable to write I am doing this on her behalf and also on the observations I have made when visiting her. In considering future possible requirements, I already have Bramhall at the top of an ever-increasing list!
Place is excellent. Staff are excellent. Food is excellent.
My mother has been living in Bramhall Residential Home for nearly a year. Residential care planning is never easy and Bramhall management and staff have helped my mother and the family through that period. They treat the residents with care and respect and are equally good at sharing a laugh and organising activities. The house and rooms are bright and clean and Mother looks forward to her regular meals. Communication with the family is good too with regular phone updates as necessary.
The staff were wonderful with my mother-in-law, even though her behaviour was at times extreme. A big thank you to all at Bramhall.
Very positive. Caring staff and no complaints that are major. A couple of small issues we had were dealt with promptly and with no fuss. I feel the staff have tried hard to get to know Dad in order he gets optimum care.
My father was placed in Bramhall after the unexpected death of my mother as he had the clear beginnings of dementia. The staff at Bramhall provided excellent care for my father with dignity and respect. I would like to see an improvement in the food and for someone to take my father out in his wheelchair occasionally, but overall, I am happy with the care provided.
