It is very good. The food is all really good and tasty. Staff are very caring and friendly. Our room is very comfortable.
My mother moved into Brantley Manor in August, following a fall at home that necessitated a hospital visit. I didn’t know the care system at all, but when I called Brantley Manor (after a recommendation from one of Mum’s friends) their manager could not have been kinder, calmly explaining everything to me and answering all my questions. As well as showing Mum the utmost care and respect since she moved in, the staff have always had time for my questions, providing reassurance to me at a very difficult time. Mum is now a permanent resident at the home, and while Mum’s situation is a sad one (she has advanced dementia and is non-verbal), I know Mum is being well looked after. I love the fact that the home is on social media, so we sometimes catch a glimpse of Mum on there, taking part in some of the many activities the home arrange. I would have no hesitation recommending this home. The staff are friendly, caring, and professional, and the atmosphere is always homely and welcoming.
Lovely place, my parents are very happy here. They have a room together and the staff treat all residents with love and care. The home is always clean and the food is so well-presented. The activities are fun. Would recommend this home.
Without exception, the staff of Brantley Manor Care Home have been kind and generous in not only making Mum feel at home and cared for but also with dealing with the family rollercoaster of emotions which comes with moving a loved one into a care situation. The food looks lovely and being served in the light dining room with music playing makes it a real social occasion. It’s early days but I don’t think we could have found anywhere nicer.
My mum has been in Brantley Manor Care Home now for nearly three months and still is a resident. Mum is being cared for by a wonderful, helpful, polite and kind staff. There is nothing that is to much trouble for the staff to sort out for the residents. They have people in to sing, help with exercise and also to do crafts. My mum is really enjoying being there and also when we leave after a visit it's so comforting that Mum is happy when we leave. Thanks to Brantley Manor staff for for being so caring.
With heavy hearts, we had to put Mum into Brantley Manor with sight loss and the onset of dementia. Mum was getting upset at being on her own. Putting Mum into Brantley Manor was hard but the care she is receiving is the best. Someone is always on hand to help, lots of cups of tea, food has lots of choices and the staff are lovely and friendly.
My mother has been a resident since mid-October. She is included all of the time and made to feel she is at home. There is lots of activities for the residents to join in with, should they wish. The staff are lovely and very friendly, yet professional at the same time. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is well looked after and safe.
I volunteer at the home playing saxophone to the residents. The staff are very friendly and always very welcoming. The residents always look happy and the staff sing along with them. The social events offered to the residents are really varied, interesting and engaging. Well done, team Brantley, look forward to seeing you again soon.
My mum and dad are very happy living at Brantley Manor and we are over the moon with the care they receive. All staff are very friendly, kind and understanding to both my parents and us every time we visit. Really feels very homely, just like one big happy family, nothing is too much trouble. Food is amazing, all homemade with a wonderful choice for every meal. They have daily activities that everyone is encouraged to join in. I'm always happy to recommend Brantley Manor.
My father has only been a resident for a few days and already I can see he is thriving. The care he is getting is outstanding. All of the staff say hello and chat to him and to me. He is included all of the time and made to feel he is at home. The food is very good and the drinks are constantly supplied and encouragement given to drink often. Residents have several different rooms they can sit in, as well as a dining area, which is very bright and a nice, enclosed garden with seating outside too. There always seems to be thought behind the daily activities and we can see what residents have done that day through the social media updates, which is a comfort. My dad is happy here and his conversation has improved.
Very impressed with the whole caring attitude of the staff and the constant attention to the needs of the residents. My father-in-law was welcomed as part of the family on his first day and was happy, sitting, chatting and drinking tea when we visited yesterday, he is more alert and attentive than he has been for a long time.
Fantastic care provided to a good family friend. Excellent food and great activities for residents. Always very clean and tidy. All the care staff go above and beyond to ensure all residents are kept clean safe and happy.
Mum moved into Brantley Manor in December 2021. She had a tough transition moving from her home into the care home, but the staff were lovely and very caring and we now feel Mum is a lot more settled. We feel it is a very homely atmosphere.
The staff are always very friendly and incredibly helpful. The care that my mum receives is very professional and understanding of her needs. Whenever a photo is posted on the care homes website she has a smile on her face. I am able to go about my life knowing that my mum is well looked after, safe and happy.
Excellent place for my husband to be looked after. The carers are all good and are always checking to see if they are eating and drinking. They have a lot of entertainment, keeping their minds busy. I would recommend this home to all.
Mum has been happily living at Brantley Manor for around nearly four years and is definitely well looked after. Whilst her health has declined, staff have been continuing to meet her needs and in particular getting to know her likes and wishes - no easy task when communication is not the easiest and the staff make time to share activities, and support. The craft/music/entertainment activities and atmosphere are inclusive and birthdays are celebratory events including fabulous personalised cake! For those not immediately local, Brantley provide great social media updates - so we can see the various interactions and visitors (human and animals) to the home. This is so reassuring and I would thoroughly recommend Brantley Manor to those looking for care for their parent.
My mother has been coming to Brantley Manor for respite and daycare. The staff are very caring welcoming and very respectful. My mother is very happy attending Brantley Manor. There are always activities that are appropriate, enabling all to participate. I have been extremely impressed with the daycare service, so flexible, enabling me to have a day break.
My dad is a new resident of Brantley Manor after a difficult time in hospital. As a family, we were heartbroken that he wasn't able to return home. However, all the staff have been so welcoming, supportive and caring. We are confident that Dad is safe, clean and very well fed, as well as encouraged to participate in the different daily activities. The staff are genuinely caring, approachable and empathetic. As a family, we have peace of mind that my dad is receiving the best possible care.
The care staff and management are very professional, caring and friendly. Very welcoming to visitors and provide excellent care and activities for the residents. I have every faith that Mum and Dad are very happy in their environment and are well cared for and would recommend the home for anyone.
