View Full Details of Clayton HouseClayton House was emergency respite for my daughter, we were all greatly supported by staff members at a very difficult time for us all. Staff are very supportive and caring towards individual needs, giving a very home from home atmosphere. Home cooked meals and members being involved with day to day home chores helping towards independence. Our daughter was highly supported by experienced staff who supported her needs throughout, she particularly enjoyed the trips out during her stay as well as being supported to go shopping independently. A big thank you to all, a lovely, friendly family residence.
I can't thank the manager and her team enough for how they have helped in a very difficult situation. They have made all stress-free for all. The young man who they have been looking after has been very happy and settled while staying at Clayton House, and he has lots of happy memories to take away on his next chapter of life. Thank you so much again to the manager and your team, we really appreciate all your help in making a young man very happy. You have kept him busy, and he's loved his time with you all.
The building that houses Kingsway, Clayton House lends itself to giving a "family home" feel, and the current owner, management, and staff have made the most of this with the furnishings, decoration, and layout. This is enhanced by the residents often benefiting from lovely "home cooking" with cakes and seasonal foods being made by staff in the kitchen. The family feel extends to Birthdays and Christmas when staff prepare large bags of gifts for each resident and we see consistent efforts to arrange social outings, activities, and meetings in the house where residents can express their views. I have found the staff consistently pleasant, patient, and supportive to both my sister (resident), myself, and my family. In particular, I have felt well supported taking on my new role as Deputy for Property and Finance for my sister.
The residents and staff are lovely and make you very welcome my son has settled in very well and he seems to be happy and content when I visit him. It is also good that he goes out every day and does different activities.
