View Full Details of The Willows Care HomeFrom the moment we arrived, for emergency respite, Dad was treated with care and dignity. His needs always came first with safety, being paramount in the eyes of The Willows staff and management. Staff are excellent, they can't do enough for us. Management is excellent, always kept in the loop and support for us was immense. Overall, The Willows has excelled for us as a family and we would definitely recommend to others. Thank you to you all.
My Mother has been a resident at The Willows for 18 months. The sensitivity and dedication of the staff to residents with widely varying needs have been plain to see. The home was recommended to me by the husband of a previous resident. As he said you only have to talk in there to feel it is a loving environment!
My uncle was taken to The Willows for respite care on 9th October. I have been to see him 3 or 4 times since, afraid I can't comment on activities or cost. He is in a very clean room and from being mostly asleep and barely monosyllable, he is now quite talkative! He remarks that the staff are lovely and I have seen that they are very attentive to his needs and are very caring in attitude. I have been offered coffee or tea etc each time I've been and appreciate that my knowledge is limited but I have been extremely impressed with what I have seen, especially with staff care.
Staff at The Willows are lovely people, they make you feel most welcome with a smile and a cup of tea. They are very caring, friendly and helpful people.
The Willows is an exceptional care home where the welfare and care of residents are always their main focus. The communication with residents and families is excellent. Above all, they are a team - be they the owner, manager, carers, cooks, housekeepers or handyman. They support each other, us as a family, and our family member and their resident. We would not have entrusted the care of both our mums to them if we had not been impressed with the level of care and the family-orientated ethos.
My husband's uncle was placed at The Willows in January 2024. From the day he went in, care has been excellent. The staff are brilliant. He is a very solitary person, very deaf and has lived on his own for 50 years since his parents died and doesn't like mixing, but the staff (manager) found him a comfortable room with a TV and he is quite happy. Cannot thank them all enough.
My uncle wanted to return from the hospital back to The Willows Care Home. To finish the last few weeks of his life. This is the place we felt cared for by the staff and management of the home. They took care of all his needs, treated him with respect and made him feel "at home". A big thank you to all the team at The Willows for everything they have done during the last few years.
My initial thoughts pertaining to placing Mum in a care home were soon overcome. The management and staff provide care, support and comfort to the family and visitors. Can't fault my mum's stay as respite. Thank you. Very grateful!
I really cannot thank The Willows Care Home enough for the care they provided my grandmother in November when we needed respite. From the moment we were greeted at the door, I knew she was going to be very well looked after. The staff are very friendly and their care was excellent!
Staff go above and beyond, extremely helpful and well informed. The facilities are spotless. Cannot praise highly enough.
We felt very welcome, warm atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. Our uncle likes it here and we feel he is very well taken care of.
I would recommend this assisted living home to my friends and family. The management and staff are excellent.
The carers and all the staff at The Willows Care Home work really hard, they not only care for the residents but also any family members from the minute you walk through the door. They keep you informed on what the resident has been doing and the range of activities is a really big hit, you only have to look at the residents' faces to see how they enjoy themselves. The food was amazing and the care was outstanding. I would highly recommend and the safety was excellent.
My mother came to The Willows for respite care. Whilst she was there she was cared for in a very compassionate and caring manner. The staff were especially attentive to her needs and nothing was too much trouble.
All staff at all times were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I have nothing but praise for the staff. I would recommend The Willows to anyone. Mum was originally due to stay for a couple of weeks of respite care but stayed a little longer. The staff were very friendly and engaged with Mum at all times and included her in the many activities they provide for their residents. I would like to thank the manager for her administrative help and support.
The home has provided Mum with a safe environment to live in. We have been pleasantly surprised by the home, the staff are fantastic and seem to have a good staffing ratio. Most requests have been met. Overall, a very pleasant environment for my mum and convenient for trips back to her home village.
The care was superb. Couldn't ask for more. All the staff were caring and respectful. A big thanks to all staff.
Thank you to all the staff at The Willows for all the care they gave my mother over the last two and a half years, especially in the last few days or her life. Despite all the problems the staff had to deal with due to the COVID 19 pandemic, every member of staff worked to ensure all the residents were safe and well looked after and, for the few times we were allowed to visit Mum in the last few months, we were made us feel welcome. Thank you to the staff also for the cups of tea you gave me when I visited every Friday. I cannot recommend highly enough this wonderful home and the high standards of all staff and aspects of care they provide.
When searching for a care home for my Mother we were introduced to The Willows care home by social services and had a first class meeting with the manager, who soon put our minds at ease over the care and attention Mum would receive. Together with the facilities available to her, my husband and I went ahead placing Mum in their care. Over the years Mum's health has deteriorated but her care, as she gets older, is still of an excellent standard and our visits are most appreciated by all the staff.
My stepmother has been at The Willows for over 18 months now and I am very happy with her care. The food is home cooked and traditional with lots of fresh vegetables which she loves. It does not have a clinical atmosphere like some care homes but is very homely. I love the cats wandering about it all adds to the feel of the place.
