View Full Details of Ashley CourtMy mother has been a resident here for 18 months now. I am very pleased with the spacious, well-equipped room which is bright and airy and the care Mum receives. I no longer worry about her care, all the carers are friendly and professional and always make me feel welcome. The home is always calm, clean and well-organised. Mum is very happy here.
After initial reservations and a few unnecessary panics and worries my stepfather's stay was terrific. It was lovely, as a visitor to be welcomed with smiles, nothing too much trouble for anyone and everyone was so helpful. It was wonderful to see the improvement in my stepfather's mental and physical health. Thank you to everyone at Ashley Court.
My mother has been a resident at Ashley Court for 10 years and throughout this time has received fantastic care relevant to her needs. All the staff have been extremely caring and supportive to my mother and myself over the years. It has been extremely reassuring to me and other family members knowing the level of care being provided to my mother. At all times I have been fully informed of Mother's situation and needs.
Excellent, couldn't fault them at all. From when Mum went in, in April 2022 they have been amazing. They nursed Mum from Feb to March, all came in and saw her, made sure she was okay. We were in there every day and always made sure we were okay as well. I don't have anything negative to say at all.
I have been married to my husband for over 50 years. His is a complex case, not only dementia. He has brain damage and heart issues. He has had Autism from birth and displays the behaviour of a 2-year-old with little emotional development. He was devastated when his mother died. He was looking for her replacement. He has no experience of group living, no empathy, no sympathy with others and he sees the world differently. He is highly intelligent and can speak about perceived injustices. Because sometimes he can be very articulate, professionals believe what he says. I support the manager and her team 100%. With compassion and tact, they manage his compulsive hoarding and his frequent finding fault. They often accommodate his wishes just as his mother did. Bless them all!
All staff are caring and helpful, ensuring Mum has fresh drinks etc and always encouraging her to eat and drink (even though she often refuses). Visiting at any time of the day or night to help us. At all times, trying to make Mother comfortable.
My mum has recently had an operation, she came back to Ashley (her home for the last 6 years). The manager and assistant manager and all staff looked after Mum with great care and dignity. I can't thank them enough. They all work as a great team.
My mum moved into Ashley Court approximately 3 months ago after a hospital stay. Mum was very reluctant to move into care but following the passing of her husband, we realised he could no longer live alone. So far, and the family have been pleased with the running of Ashley. Mum has a lovely room overlooking the pretty new garden. Her room is lovely and bright and kept clean. Staff seemed to always be very busy doing what they can for the residents. Mum has still not settled but this is no reflection on Ashley Court, I don't think she would settle anywhere and just wants to go back to how things were before. If we ever have any concerns I have found the manager who's been very proactive in getting things resolved and staff also keep in touch if necessary. With the exception of more staff required, to date we have been very pleased with Mum's stay at Ashley Court.
Ease of visiting with my children. Happy and caring staff. My grandma is treated with respect and care. Yummy home-cooked food. They do lots of activities and parties and have lots of events for the residents.
I had been very upset about the prospect of my dad being placed initially for assessment at Ashley Court from the hospital to the present day, I have been reassured that Ashley Court is the care home for my dad. They (the staff) have been taking very good care of my dad and I am very grateful to the staff for all the support they give him. Thank you.
I can get to sleep at night knowing my father-in-law is being looked after by the staff at Ashley Court.
Outstanding care and support with an emphasis on individual needs.
A caring and friendly home. My mother had dementia and the staff were very supportive and willing to help her with the daily tasks.
My mother stayed here for a short while whilst we tried to find a home closer to where Mum lives. I found the staff very friendly and caring and they kept me informed of any concerns regarding Mum. They still do lateral flows which I think is a good thing as this protects the staff and residents. The home is clean and well looked after. A big thank you to everyone who cared for Mum also the activities were very well organised.
Good or excellent in all areas. Keep it up. Thank you.
Mum appears very happy and settled at Ashley Court. Staff are hard working, attentive and very caring. Covid restrictions have been difficult but the staff have ensured the residents are safe and well looked after, providing much reassurance for us as a family.
Ashley Court took care of my father for several months before he passed. They were very empathetic regarding the covid situation and allowed us to see him in his final days. Making sure everything was safe for all.
Staff 100%. Very pleased with the everyday runnings and care. I would highly recommend!
Ashley Court staff have kept us well informed of what activities and accompanied this with photos on their social media page. They have also informed us how they are managing the Covid-19 situation, especially since we have been unable to visit. The group messaging facility, telephone calls have enabled us to keep in touch. Well done to all the staff and thank you for making a difficult time a little easier.
Since my friend has been in Ashley Court - he is a changed man. He has been on his own for around 4 years and not really joined in socially with anything at all. I know he has been joining in with many of the activities offered; singing, crafts, music etc. He appears settled and loves the meals provided. He looks like he has put on a bit of weight and he is always well dressed and clean. I can't thank the staff enough for all that they do for all the residents and visitors etc.
