View Full Details of The AvenueThe Avenue looked after my mother for six years very well. She was not an easy resident but the staff cared for her with warmth, dignity and love. She moved several times in the nine months before coming to The Avenue and the other homes could not cope. The family was so relieved when we saw how The Avenue cared for her. She regained the weight she had lost and recovered her spirit. We are very grateful to all at The Avenue.
The Avenue looked after my wife for just under 8 years. The staff were excellent and helpful. Things to do in the day time. They looked after my wife at the end and they would keep us going to get through the bad times. The care is still going on as they are still helping me through the bad times and thank the staff still for all their help.
My Nan has been here over a year now and myself and family couldn't be happier with the care she receives. My Nan has improved 100% since being here and I can't thank them enough for the help and support they have shown to not only my Nan but to me and my family too.
My mother has been a resident at The Avenue for the past 7 years and has received excellent care during her time there. The staff at The Avenue have always been very friendly and supportive. Mum had continued receiving wonderful care until her recent passing. At this time the staff showed exceptional care and compassion to my mother and also to us. We would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to the manager and all her team who have been involved in my mothers care.
My mother was admitted to The Avenue nearly five years ago. She is bipolar and had been suffering repeated periods of very severe depression. The staff at The Avenue have had to deal with difficult behaviour over the years and also, as she got older, many physical problems. The staff at The Avenue have succeeded in settling mum's mental health so that she is now stable and there has been no return of the severe depression. The staff at The Avenue do a very difficult job with care and endless patience and I cannot thank them enough for taking care of mum so well.
