View Full Details of Beech House Carehome Worksop LtdMy brother was given a place in Beech House Carehome Worksop following a spell in hospital where he was admitted after a fall at home. When I visited him in hospital, he was frail, miserable and had given up on life. I was away on holiday when he went to Beech House and on visiting him when I returned, I couldn't believe the difference. He is now very happy, well and eating everything - he's always been fussy but they've got him to try new things. Beech House has, undoubtedly, saved his life. Thank you.
After two short spells of respite care at Beech House Carehome Worksop, it became necessary for my wife to have full-time residential care in June 2024. Of course, it had to be Beech House. The management/care team is outstanding and as a family, we could not have wished for better. Friendly, caring and supportive both to me, as her husband, and my family. During the last weeks, days and hours of my wife's end-of-life care, I could not have wished for better kindness, friendliness and non-intrusive support from all the staff, whether in the day or during the night. They helped to make those final days so very special. Outstanding! If you want the best for a family member then look no further. Beech House cannot be bettered. So much so that they have become a second family to me and my daughters. Thank you Beech House. You deserve the highest accolades.
My mother is a resident at Beech House Carehome Worksop Ltd and she has been staying there since March. The staff and management are friendly kind and welcoming. They make you feel comforted by the fact the residents are well looked after, treated with respect and have a safe and happy environment. We take my dad to visit regularly and the staff and management make him welcome. They keep me and our family informed of any issues or concerns about mum on a regular basis.
My nan was in Beech House Carehome Worksop for seven months this year (2024). The staff here have been excellent with my nan and with us when visiting, they have been very professional, communicated well and courteous every time we've visited. My nan has always been well-presented whenever we have visited, which was always spur of the moment and not planned. The staff have been very quick to organise a doctor and medication when Nan was unwell and to inform us of any issues. And when she was not eating much, encouraged her to try and eat, they (in our opinion) have gone above and beyond and have definitely given that personal touch to my nan's final weeks. The kitchen staff work endlessly to provide quality, freshly cooked, homemade meals. Thank you to all of the staff here, you have made this time a little less stressful than it could have been.
From the moment myself and two sisters visited the care home, we knew this was the right place for Mum to live in as it felt just like home. The management team and care team go above and beyond in meeting each resident's care needs, both personal and emotional, they show love, dignity and respect and treat each resident as individuals.
Excellent care. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can put my mother in respite and know that she is looked after. In fact, she's spoilt when she goes in. Staff are amazing and very kind and thoughtful. Always things going on to entertain the residents. The two ladies I mainly deal with are always there to help and accommodate when they can. Overall, ten out of ten.
Beech House Carehome Worksop Ltd is a well-run care home where all of the staff genuinely care about my mum's health and well-being. The home is extremely well-managed by the manager and his team and it is a pleasure to visit my mum there Everywhere is spotlessly clean and staff work hard to ensure that my mum's room and clothes are clean and tidy. Beech House is the best care home my husband and I have experienced whilst visiting elderly parents.
My mum has lived at Beech House Care Home since 2022. She has advanced dementia now. I can honestly say that it’s been very hard for me seeing her decline but all the staff have been very supportive. Letting go of your own mother and having someone else look after her, isn't an easy thing to do. Nevertheless, I’m very confident in the fact there is no other care home that matches the quality of care and standards of Beech House. There are not enough words to say how grateful I am for all the care that Mum receives. From the professional, very supportive management team, the carers, the wonderful activities lady, the cooks and all the other staff. Everyone plays their part, in enriching my mum's life. After working in the care sector myself for a long time, there is no other care home that comes close to Beech House. Thank you so much.
My mum had been a resident for three years. From the outset, I knew I had made the right decision for her. The support she received in those early days brought her back to me and I am so pleased that Beech House is her home. Three years later I am even more impressed with the leadership. The owner, management team and lead carers constantly look to make everything the best it can be. Nothing stands still. The desire to continually improve in all areas is so evident and feeds through to team members who are well trained, supported and assessed. In recent months there has been a real buzz with new activities introduced to involve all residents. It’s a lot of work for everyone but has added so much joy. Whatever is happening when I am there, I am always aware of the staff calmly following their routines. They respond to incidents without fuss and always with care. It’s very impressive. I have so much respect for the entire team at Beech House.
Super caring staff. Gives me reassurance that Dad is safe and receives kind quality care. Always provide timely updates and make time to speak to relatives and always a friendly welcome when visiting.
Mum was a resident for 19 months up until her death in August. We found the home was kept very clean and the staff were kind and patient with all residents. Entertainment was provided with the residents particularly enjoying a sing-song. I must also mention the care given to my mum and ourselves as we kept a 24-hour vigil for a week at the end of Mum's life. The care given to Mum even after her death was outstanding and I would definitely award the home a five-star rating.
Nothing is too much trouble for the hard-working staff working there. I have absolutely no worries about my father's care, he is so well looked after, with understanding and compassion, but most of all he is very happy and at the end of the day that’s all I want for him. Thank you Beech House a well-deserved 5 stars.
Outstanding care home and staff. The home is well managed and my dad was well cared for. They treated my dad and myself as family. My dad has now passed away and during his last few weeks, the staff went over and above spending time with my dad on their days off. I miss the staff so much and I cannot recommend this care home enough.
18 months ago before my Mum went to Beech House, she was sinking into the stages of Dementia at home. Due to the care and attention given by a care team that is enthusiastic and passionate about their care home and the care that they give to all residents, my mum has stabilised, she has good meals and plenty of social activities to keep her engaged. The icing on the cake for 2023, I was able to take my mum home on Christmas Day for a family Christmas and for her to meet her new great-grandchild. Whatever happens now, we will always remember Christmas 2023 as a good one. Thank you Beech House.
My relative is happy in the home and she is well looked after. She made a few friends when she first went to live there. She enjoys the food and they have entertainment at least once a week and have activities.
Beech House provides 24-hour care with compassion and enthusiasm. They have cared for my mum for the past 16 months. The staff are caring and passionate about people’s rights and choices to promote individualised care. The wonderful activities coordinator is a bundle of energy and encourages the residents to get involved in lots of different activities. As a family, we 100% recommend this care home for your loved one. Being here gives us peace of mind.
My mum was a resident here and always got great care and compassion. I got great joy joining in with many happy singing days and managed to get lots of videos of Mum singing and enjoying every moment, many thanks to all.
Very caring staff, nothing was too much trouble for my dad's final weeks. His every need had been tended to with respect and empathy. From top to bottom, it felt like everyone cared for us as a family and Dad himself.
Cannot praise the staff enough during Mum's stay and end-of-life care. Not only for the excellent care throughout and dignity at the end which the staff gave towards Mum and all her family. Thank you from all of us.
The team are caring and pleasant and provides excellent care to all the residents and families, led by excellent leaders. The manager has worked hard to build a strong cohesive and caring team. The new activities coordinator is excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming whenever you visit and the team leader is always available to discuss any concerns. Communication is good with the family, alerting us to any changes or concerns they may have. Excellent dementia care is provided with a good insight into both patient and family needs.
