View Full Details of Little AcresI have the utmost confidence in Little Acres and its care staff with the care and needs of my daughter, including her health care medication and especially her big weight loss.
Arranged to take family member out for the day, when I arrived to collect her she was dressed appropriately and all ready to go looking lovely. I visit Little Acres every other week and I am always happy with what I see. Staff are very attentive to all residents and create a happy relaxed atmosphere for all including visitors. Staff are always happy to answer any concerns and accommodate individual needs/preference.
Little Acres was a soft place to land for my brother at a difficult time. They have looked after him beautifully and he has enjoyed his time with you. The staff cared for him as an individual and helped him regain his confidence. Whenever I have visited all the other residents seemed happy and were treated with kindness and dignity.
The manager and all her staff all wonderful no matter what I ask about my sister, there is always a response and details even to getting a dentist now. I know that the manager does everything she can even down for decorating rooms. I find a lot needs painting and is on the maintenance list, there are lots of repairs that need doing also. I have much admiration for everyone working at Little Acres, they all do their very best for all the residents in their care.
My sister has Downs Syndrome and is suffering from Alzheimer's and is now bedridden. The care she is receiving from the manager and her staff are excellent.
Little Acres home is lovely. Great staff clean and friendly. Would recommend it to everyone. Love the home.
My aunt is in the final stages of dementia. She is being very well cared for. The staff can't do enough for her and her carer in particular has gone above and beyond. They are fitting things around her needs, eg. feeding her when she is awake, no matter what time it is. The staff are friendly.
My daughter stayed here as an emergency respite placement, she was quite challenging upon arrival, the staff were remarkable at calming her down and helping her settle through her stay. On collection, my daughter said how much she had enjoyed her stay and would love to stay again. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for their hard work and caring nature.
The rooms are good. I have an en-suite bathroom. The staff treat the residents with respect and dignity. I have been very happy as a resident of Little Acres Care Home for the last three years. I particularly look forward to the day centre twice a week. I enjoy going on the computer and in the afternoon I go bowling and also look forward to the regular day trips at weekends.
The rooms are very well adapted for people's various disabilities. The staff are always respectful to the residents of the care home. The facilities are of a very good standard with cinema room, lounge, kitchen, so there is always plenty of activities for the residents. Twice a week the residents go to a Day Centre and are regularly taken out on day trips.
My sister has lived here for twenty-two years and is really happy here.
I cannot comment on all questions as I have no experience of them.
I am extremely pleased about all aspects of the life he has in this care home. I must give extra plaudits with reference to the social life my son has, including the many and varied outings that are arranged for the residents.
I like living at Little Acres. I get on with staff and residents. The home is clean and tidy.
Visitors always made welcome. Residents appear to be well cared for and seem happy. However, communication from management is non-existent. I cannot rate some of the boxes, as I simply do not know.
This home is run by very caring staff. We know our daughter is looked after and kept safe. Could not have found a better home for her. She has been in the home nearly 2 years. Highly recommend this home. Lovely.
