View Full Details of The Manor Residential HomeI came for respite after an operation for my hip. I have found on all aspects the experience to be excellent. It's fantastic. I had a very nice time. I wasn't very well and they looked after me perfectly.
The Manor is a very good care home and the staff are so professional in everything they do and are so obliging with what is requited. I am so happy that my mother-in-law is in The Manor. Nothing is too little with the home and I thank everyone that is involved with the care and comfort that it brings to both myself and my wife. Thank you.
Like everyone looking for a care home for a loved one, the trust that you are wanting, along with the care provided is a massive anxiety. From day one we were put at ease, Mum was greeted with kind words and reassurance. As a family we too were considered and our emotions were not ignored. We continue to have faith in the care, the dignity and on the ball actions that are delivered with respect for both Mum and our family.
My father is a resident at the home, since his arrival earlier this year. I have had no complaints. The staff are marvellous, very approachable and can't do enough to make my father's time there very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff.
My husband was a resident for 18 months before he passed away. He was very happy there and had a very high standard of care by all the care staff and management staff. The Manor was and is very welcoming of visitors. I still my husband's best friend in the Manor on my recommendation for his stay there. The care and support every resident receives is excellent at The Manor.
I was very very impressed with the review that took place yesterday, concerning my father and his end-of-life care. Management was so respectful of our wishes at this sad time. The overall meeting was not rushed and she took the time to discuss and reassure us how comfortable they would make Dad and we cannot fault the treatment he is receiving in his end-of-life care.
Management and staff exhibit unfailing enthusiasm for their jobs and are very caring and compassionate not only to all the residents but to visitors too. We are going through a particularly stressful time with Dad's health and staff couldn't be more helpful and supportive. Any queries or issues we have are dealt with expediently which gives us the confidence that we have chosen the best possible care home for Dad. We can't thank them enough for all their hard work, patience and diligence in such a difficult job.
My family and I are so impressed with the review that took place for a discussion on my father-in-law's end-of-life care. Nothing was too much, not rushed and excellent all-around he is being given and things being put in place for him at this sad time. Just wonderful!
Absolutely amazing care. All staff go that extra mile to care for all residents at the home. It has made us feel at ease knowing our grandad is in such good hands. All the staff are very professional. The manager has been so supportive throughout difficult times. We appreciate everything all the staff do. Thank you.
Very pleasant place, some carers very active with residents, some not.
Lovely to see how well my mother-in-law has had a marked improvement since she has come to live at The Manor Residential Home. The staff were all very welcoming and lunch was lovely.
Life changing for our family to know Mum is safe and well cared for. Lovely, caring staff. I can't speak highly enough of them. Thank you.
A huge thank you to all the team for your continued hard work. Dad is treated with respect and dignity. He is always washed and dressed with a drink in front of him when visiting at several different time frames. Dad has Alzheimer's and can be difficult. The team are very helpful and understanding, allowing him to be himself. Thank you for your continued care.
My mum has been looked after very well while she is in The Manor Residential Home.
Very welcoming and friendly staff who really do take care of my grandmother, they are very understanding and able to take care of her needs in a very quick and dignified manner. They have really made the whole process a lot easier for our family to feel like my grandma is being looked after.
My mother was very reluctant to enter a care home but she quickly settled in thanks to the caring staff and being part of The Manor family. The staff were extremely caring supportive and respectful. As her cancer progressed she required a great deal of care and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate her needs. Sadly she passed away and we were extremely grateful to see 5 of the staff attend her funeral. I would not hesitate to recommend Manor Residential Care to anyone in need of care for their loved ones, the personal touch provided means a great deal.
Mum was only in the home for a short while but was very happy and was welcomed with open arms. She enjoyed the company and was enamored with all of the staff who treated her exceptionally well. As her cancer developed Mum needed a lot of care and this was given with a pleasant smile and a great sense of humor whilst not losing any sense of dignity. I cannot recommend the home highly enough and would like to thank the staff for their care and commitment to Mum's needs.
The Manor Residential Home treat my aunt with respect and compassion especially since she has now got dementia. The standards are always high and visitors are always welcome.
My husband and myself were visitors to our friend and on each visit we were made welcome by all staff and our friend was always comfortable in his room.
Absolutely outstanding, professional, and caring support staff who did everything beyond their duties. So pleased my uncle received such excellent care and I know my auntie will miss all of the staff and their friendly manner, thank you.
