Westwood Care Home is an amazing place for seniors. My mother has someone to care for her 24 hours a day here, which gives peace of mind to the family. She is not only cared for. The home goes over and above in entertaining their residents, and meeting all their needs

Dad moved into Westwood Care Home in September - it has taken a while for him to settle and he has been challenging at times. The staff at the home have been so supportive with dad - trying to find ways to help him settle in, which has been successful. The support they give to Mum and the family is amazing and so appreciated. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff from the front desk up to Dad's unit. Two staff members in particular always check in with us when we visit no matter how busy they are, The carers are so kind and caring. We have only had a few months experience but as a family we all agree this place is the right place for Dad. We can leave him knowing he is safe but more importantly he is cared for as are we.

Always great care, fab theme nights and lovely menus. My mum has thrived since she came here and from me nearly losing her she's now healthy and happy. I can't thank them enough.

Enjoying the regular meals and structure to the day. The home tailors the events to make it better for the patients involved and that should continue. She has put her weight back on and made new friends. All carers made her feel safe and welcome and always check on her regularly. Nice and caring environment.

With Halloween just around the corner, I can't wait to see what the team have in store for the residents, the show they put on last year for Halloween was amazing, I sit here wondering what they will come up with next, all the residents love all the shows put on by the care team here, so many smiles, well-done everyone.

Mum was in this home for 12 weeks, unfortunately, a major medical incident (stroke) meant she ultimately had end-of-life care. The staff were amazing, they looked after Mum and us with compassion and empathy. Everyone from domestics up to management were so helpful and approachable. Cannot praise the staff enough.

Fantastic service provided by Westwood Care Home. Every single member of staff are caring, professional and attentive. We are kept informed at all times of any issues that arise, mum has improved 100% since she became a resident and has fitted in with the Westwood family. A definite 10 out of 10.

Mum moved into Westwood in December after the realisation she needed assistance and was afraid to be on her own. She moved into a lovely room and staff welcomed her with warmth and reassurance. Obviously for Mum, moving from independent living to a care environment, it takes a little time to adjust but she has received the best care and assistance with the home addressing any questions raised or requests on Mum's behalf. Thank you.

My grandma went into the home on the 7th of December 2023 and I am overwhelmed with all the care and love given by all staff to make sure everyone is cared for and kept safe. The atmosphere created by the staff is fantastic and it is like one big family. So pleased we chose Westwood.

Westwood is run by amazing members of staff who treat all residents as family members. They work so hard to meet the needs of each individual and it is a wonderful place. You are also given peace of mind that your loved ones are really being looked after and cared for. The home is very welcoming and all staff are very approachable. Well done to the manager and team.

My grandmother came to this care home following an A&E admission for frequent falls and inability to cope. The care provided is outstanding. They have ensured the room is beautiful with home comforts. The staff truly care and the activities are amazing. I am a doctor and have seen many care homes and the service, facilities and activities are the best I have ever seen.

We have always found the care and home excellent, Mum absolutely loves coming to stay for respite, in fact, she never actually wants to come back home.

We looked at several care homes before our mum moved into Westwood. We chose it for its condition, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff, nothing was too much trouble for the team, all very caring and easy to get on with. Mum enjoys being there, and we'd recommend Westwood to anyone looking for good care for a loved one.

My mother is in Westwood - we looked for a place that was clean, caring, homely and professional, with the options of activities home from home care. Westwood at Worksop provide all of this and more. They have a compassionate, caring manager, excellent staff, and a beautiful building and grounds. It does not matter what time of day I visit, I find cleanliness, patience and care that gives us total peace of mind that our mother is in the best possible hands - we love visiting knowing she is cared for like family. Thank you to all at Westwood.

The management and all staff are excellent. Dad feels like he's in a hotel! Everyone goes above and beyond in their pursuit of making the home a home from home. As for myself - I know he is in the best place for him, care, food, activities, entertainment etc. There's always a fresh clean smell as you enter.

The staff are the reason we chose Westwood over other care homes as they are all friendly, willing to help and do it all with the dignity of the resident in mind. The rooms are always clean and bright and the activities are good and varied. All admin and managerial staff are helpful too.

The staff are warm and welcoming. If there are any concerns I feel comfortable asking for assistance and advice. Residents are safe and the staff have activities most days. We as a family are kept well informed.

I am so pleased my mum is in the care of Westwood. There are so many activities. Mum is never lonely. The care is first class.

My dad went into Westwood for respite after being very poorly with sepsis. We can not thank them enough for what they have done from management, reception, carers, cook and everyone involved. It’s clean, modern and everyone is caring as a family which has been a very difficult time for us all. We cannot thank Westwood enough for all the help and advice they have given Dad and ourselves after visiting a lot of different places Westwood was by far the best. Thank you to the manager and your team at Westwood cannot thank you enough.

Grandad has been in Westwood for fifteen months now. It's such a relief to know how well cared for he is. I had massive guilt about placing him in a care home - but he's settled in lovely, he's eating, taking medication and if he was at home he wouldn't be here now. Cannot recommend this place enough.
