View Full Details of Kingfisher CourtMy husband has advanced Alzheimer's and moved to Kingfisher Court in September. The staff have been so welcoming and supportive to the whole family. Nothing is too much trouble. The manager, too, is very friendly but professional, empathetic, understanding, and supportive. There is an open-door policy for families the food is fantastic and the rooms are clean and homely.
Lovely home, staff are friendly and knowledgeable about how my grandad is doing. They take such good care of my grandad. The home is always clean and smells fresh. The gardens are lovely in the summer.
We are very grateful for looking after my dad. He likes it here and was very happy and well looked after. Hope to see you again.
My wife has been in Kingfisher Court for four weeks now, she is well looked after. The staff are caring and considerate. The home is very pleasant, clean and in pleasant surroundings. I don't think I could find one better.
Always excellent care given with dignity, very happy with my mother's care.
I visit my aunt regularly and each time she is well cared for. She has been poorly recently and she had lovely care and attention. I know she happy living here with you all.
Mum is very well cared for. I get phone calls regularly to check that we're happy with the level of care. She's settled well at Kingfisher Court. The carers are very attentive and seem to know Mum really well and are able to manage her needs. NB: Rooms satisfactory, as relatively basic but clean and functional. Value for money because now paying privately (ouch!). Activities satisfactory as don't always evidence them.
The staff keep me informed of any falls, if he has not been well, hospital visit, if he needs any new clothes or money for haircuts and feet done. He is well looked after.
Residents are well cared for and we always get a warm welcome from the carers and management who are helpful and supportive. Mum is happy and well looked after which is very reassuring for the family. The stability of the staff means that they all know Mum and her likes and dislikes. The activities help to make the family included. It would be good if there was a facility to wash clothes below 60 degrees as we currently have to wash Mum's jumpers at home.
Putting a parent into a care home is extremely distressing, but knowing they are looked after and cared for as much as they are at Kingfisher Court is very reassuring. Mum is always happy and looks lovely whenever I visit. I feel very happy knowing she is looked after as she is.
I find all staff very helpful and always busy with all the residents. Staff always willing to help in anyway they can. Mother is a lot better for being at Kingfisher Court due to people around her 24/7.
We all found the staff to be amazing, very friendly and caring. The home itself could do with updating, but that doesn't take away from a very nice place to stay.
All staff and management are pleasant and helpful. When come to visit staff and management are always helpful, offer drinks and make you feel very welcome.
My stepfather-in-law has been resident since July 2022 and settled in very well. Now the home has a new manager it is brilliant. I receive regular calls asking if I have any concerns and letting me know how he is. The home is clean and staff are working, not on their phone like before. He is very happy and always looks clean and well-presented.
My mother-in-law went here for respite in May for 6 weeks, me and my husband highly recommend this place. The managers are all wonderful you can talk to them about anything, the carers are amazing with the elderly they respect them and really look after them. When my mother-in-law was due to come out she didn’t want to leave, made friends and wanted to stay so we arranged for her to stay there permanently. She loves it, made many friends and likes company, everybody chats with her, they are all so lovely. The staff - can’t praise them enough, make you feel welcome. Went to the barbecue, really nice get-together, with residents dancing, eating and playing music, felt really welcome. Mum enjoyed it too, really nice place and brilliant staff.
My husband has been a resident at Kingfisher Court Care Home, Clifton since January 2023. The home is very well run and the management is very supportive. All the staff are very friendly and courteous, making a point of addressing regular visitors by name. Every effort is made to make the residents comfortable, happy and secure. My husband has a very pleasant bedroom which overlooks the pond. Residents have a variety of places in the home where they can relax, in addition to a well-maintained patio/garden. The only downside to his bedroom is that it isn't en suite. However, there is a toilet nearby. Commodes are also available on request. The food is plentiful and excellent. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this care home.
Staff at Kingfisher Court are always lovely and welcoming. The home and rooms are always clean and tidy. Dad has been here 20 months now and is very well looked after here. Couldn’t ask for better care 5*.
My father attended Kingfisher Court Care Home as a respite user, he is now going through the motions of becoming a full-time resident Myself and the family are more than happy for Dad to be in Kingfisher as a full-time resident. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly, the new manager was a pleasure to meet and is very knowledgeable and informative. The manager and all the team seem to be passionate about their job and deliver good quality care. Thank you to the whole team.
I find the staff at Kingfisher Court to be extremely helpful and they go out of there way so I can speak to my dad either over the phone or on video calling as I reside in Australia. I love the facts the home has special events like St Patrick's day and celebrates residents Birthdays.
Mum loved this home, she felt safe and enjoyed the food and care provided. The staff are very friendly and caring and went out of their way to get the food Mum loved, and the activities there are second to none. I can't recommend this home enough.
