View Full Details of Grange Lea Residential Home LtdWhen we looked for a care home in Bolton for my mum in law we were instantly assured from the very first meeting with the manager and her team at Grange Lea care home. That was 5 years ago. They have been absolutely marvellous all the way through. Sadly mum in law passed away a few days ago. We could not have wished for a better place than Grange Lea for her to have lived out her last years. I would highly recommend Grange Lea to anyone who has a family member in need of being looked after like they're one of their own family.
The staff at Grange Lea have been amazing with our auntie who was residing at the home until she recently passed away. They showed genuine care, understanding and kindness not just to our aunt but to our whole family at a difficult time. Her end-of-life care was given with warmth and compassion allowing her a peaceful and dignified passing. They worked with all the necessary agencies to ensure seamless care. We can't thank you enough.
I would like to say just how loving and caring all the staff and management at Grange Lea are. They have just looked after my mother for such a short time. But in that time they made the end of her life as comfortable and painless as possible providing her every need. I would recommend Grange Lea to anyone looking to find a loving place for their relative.

The staff are dedicated and are exceptionally kind and caring. The residents are treated with compassion and dignity at all times. The senior staff are very knowledgeable in the care of the elderly residents. All the staff are professional and approachable, nothing is too much trouble. Magaret the manager was amazing and provided impeccable and dignified end-of-life care for my dad who passed away in a calm and warm home surrounded by his loving family. We would highly recommend Grange Lea in a heartbeat.

All the carers are professional and approachable, nothing is too much trouble. I am so glad Mum lived at such a lovely place. Sadly Mum passed away recently and Grange Lea provided impeccable and dignified end of life care. Everyone was so kind and loving. I would recommend Grange Lea in a heartbeat.
Wow, I can’t believe the care given to my dad, absolutely incredible level of care. The staff, all included, are amazing, the commitment and dedication are second to none, I know from talking to my dad that he feels loved, valued and in, his words, treated like royalty by all. I get countless phone calls from staff with updates on his well-being. When you get staff offering to take my dad to see a junior's football match because they know about his love of football, well that just shows how dedicated the staff are, I couldn’t be happier.
There are not enough words to describe how amazing the staff are at Grange Lea. My grandma lived there for two and a half years. The staff there went above and beyond for her. She was well cared for, both physically and emotionally and, most importantly of all, she was happy. Her time there included the entirety of the Covid pandemic. FaceTimes and video calls were never too much trouble when we weren’t allowed to visit and when visits were permitted we were always made to feel so very welcome in what must have been an incredibly difficult and stressful time for all staff. We couldn’t have found a better place for my grandma to have spent for last years. Thank you for all that you did for her.
My mum became a resident at Grange Lea in August 2019 having been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Throughout her time there her care has been exemplary. The professionalism, kindness and understanding shown by all staff have been excellent. The home is very well managed and welcoming. It was easy to contact staff to discuss any issues relating to Mum’s care and they were always helpful and accommodating. Mum’s room was very nice and private. The lounge and dining facilities were also very good. Mum often told me how well she was cared for. I could not have put Mum in a better place, they have my eternal thanks.
My brother and I will be forever grateful for the wonderful care and kindness given to my father in what was a very challenging final year of his life. Nothing was too much trouble. Due to Covid rules, we were unable to celebrate his 100th birthday together but the Manager organised a cake, plus a card from the Queen and sent us a video and photos to mark the occasion. We were never in any doubt that Dad was receiving the best possible care from a team of angels who performed their role with professionalism, cheerfulness and above all, compassion. We were always kept fully informed and the manager and her team were also a great support to our family.
The staff at Grange Lea have been absolutely brilliant looking after my uncle especially over these difficult times with Covid 19. They have demonstrated great empathy and compassion not only to the residents but also to us the relatives. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for them, we have always been given telephone access to speak at length to our uncle. It has been reassuring to us to know that the home has maintained a safe Covid free environment for everyone. The management team demonstrates an ethos of high standards, which is evident in the action of all members of staff. Our sincere thanks go to everyone at the home.
This year has been an awful year with Covid, but I can honestly say the care and support given to my mum and my family has been first class....and still is! Dealing with not only their own family life but also with all the stress ..trauma... and illness during this awful time. I can't praise them enough and they treat everyone as an extended family. I can call day or night and nothing is too much trouble for them. I call them Angels without wings because that is what they are!! The home is very well presented and very clean as are the resident's rooms. There are lots of activities for the residents and everyone joins in, it's such a friendly place and I am so glad my mum is in their care.
Mum lived in Grange Lea for just over 12 months. The care she received was brilliant. The staff are very friendly, loving, professional and simply great. Mum was treated with respect and like one of their family. Mum was very happy there and I was happy with everything they did for her. The home, in general, is very well run and I would recommend Grange Lea to anyone.

My mum had dementia and was blind. She was a resident from June 2018 until February 2020. The staff were always attentive to her needs and were particularly caring at the end of her life. I would recommend this small but well-run care home to anyone.
My friends mum was in Grange Lea for approximately 20 months and I have to say she had excellent care. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond their call of duty many times. They were always welcoming when we visited which was often. All her needs were met and more. End of life care was exceptional and she was made very comfortable. One big happy family....well done.
I'm so glad we picked Grange Lea as Mum's care home. Mum had Lewy Body dementia, was registered blind and had limited mobility and spent her final 20 months at this lovely home. The staff and management are fantastic. They are all caring, dedicated, supportive and friendly. I love them all and can't thank them enough for making Mum's last months happy and comfortable. Thank you ladies.
My dad has been at Grange Lea since May 2019. He was seriously poorly recently and I cannot thank the team enough. Some staff should have clocked off but stayed, not just to look after my dad but to support me too. I have a life now because my dad is in their hands. Thank you ladies for everything you do for my dad and the support you give to me.
My gran was a resident and the staff there were friendly, helpful and good people.
My mum came to Grange Lea in January after seven weeks in the hospital. From day one, she was made to feel at home and nothing is too much for the manager and staff. After losing a lot of weight in the hospital, she regained it all at Grange Lea with good food and help to eat when needed. Mum is always kept clean, well dressed and I have been taking mum out on a weekly basis due to the increase in her mobility. I can never thank the home enough for all the genuine love and care given to my mum. Thank you to each and every one of the day and night staff.
