My mum finds the home friendly and helpful and they try to make sure everyone is happy. My mum is always clean and well fed. As a family member, we would like my mum to do more walking with her frame and simple exercises to keep her strength and mobility up.
Staff friendly at all times. Very approachable and on hand to give help or advice to residents and family members. Plenty of varied activities which we can access photos etc. on social media so keeps family informed and involved. Residents seem content and well cared for. Carers interact well with residents and meet their daily needs and demands.
All staff very welcoming. Always available to offer help and advice when needed. All have cheerful smiley faces - creates a lovely atmosphere. All rooms clean and pleasant. Residents seem happy and content. Encouraged to be involved with activities which are well-organised and carried out daily.
Staff attentive. Activities very good. Room always clean and tidy.
Everything is perfect. Very clean. Food good. Staff brilliant.
The activities coordinator at Lever Edge is a very caring lady. When it is a resident's birthday, she decorates the room, makes sure the resident has a birthday cake and invites other residents to the party. She ensures all the residents enjoy themselves and goes above and beyond her duties. She is an asset to the company.
The activities coordinator is always a friendly and reassuring face. This very lovely lady always updates me on the activities that my aunt has been involved in and shows me photos. This lady would appear to go above and beyond her normal duties, making life for the residents more enjoyable.
Excellent staff. Great activities.
Lovely staff and plenty of activities with many, getting my dad out of his room, well run and a lovely atmosphere, child friendly so my dad can see his great-grandchildren, well decorated.
I would like to thank the activity coordinators and staff for all they have done to make Christmas in the home extra special for the residents. Also a special thank you to one of the staff for the lovely little birthday party she threw for my mum-in-law's 92nd birthday yesterday.
Our mum moved into Lever Edge in September 2024 to the EMI unit. We were worried she wouldn't settle in but since being there she seems happier, her room is always nice and clean as is my mum which must be a feat for the staff as she isn't always happy about showering etc. She seems to of settled in very well and even joins in with the activities sometimes which I think is to do with the activity coordinators including her, great staff from management to carers to cleaners and support staff.
My husband went into the home in May with dementia I go to the home about 3 times a week and I am very happy with the care he receives. The staff always involves him in all the activities, he always seems happy.
The staff have been brilliant and worked very hard, making sure the residents have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Thank you. The activity coordinators have involved my mum, which is nice, as she doesn't come out of her room much, mum's choice. But doing her nails and feet in her room, make her feel pampered, again, thank you. The residents seem happy. They are always lovely and clean. My mum needs more care these days and staff are always there to assist her when I ask for more checks.
My mum has been with Lever Edge for 3 weeks now. The difference the staff have made with her in this short time is amazing! She has a new lease of life, thanks to the activities coordinator who keeps her busy and engaged during the day and goes over and above in her work. All the staff worked hard over Christmas to make it as lovely and festive as possible. Nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend.
The range of activities on offer is great and Manny does a great job and goes above and beyond. My dad has a complicated illness and the staff treat him with respect and dignity and support both him and me and it is very much appreciated.
My mother moved into Lever Edge House on June 1st 2022 due to her dementia. Since moving into room 30, she has come on so much. She has a wonderful social life, lots of trips out and enjoying her life. I am so thankful for every member of staff who has made her life so good.
The staff are so caring and go out of their way to help residents with respect and dignity. Always have exciting activities, inclusive for all with cultures celebrated. Excellent social media updates. Always lots of food choices and drinks for residents. All residents well presented appearances - clothes, cleanliness etc. Outstanding. Nice, bright, airy and spotlessly clean. A well-managed care home with excellent staff. Thank you.
My mam is very well looked after. We are pleased with her progress.
Each time I visit the home I feel that my aunt is in good hands. Although she is very confused and at times doesn't know who I am, she is always well cared for and supported. She tends not to each much but is encouraged by staff to eat as much as possible and the food is always plentiful and quite appetising. There are daily activities at the home and trips out for those who are able. Overall I can find no faults at all with the care she receives in the home.
