View Full Details of Medlock CourtI have never found myself in a position to review any medical care or treatments. My mother was placed in care after breaking her hip. She has been in Medlock Court now for two weeks. So I now find myself in this position. The care home is like a home-from-home, the home is clean, and the staff are second to none. Whilst my mother's recovery is going to take a long time, the staff there have been fantastic not just with my mother but also with my brother and I. in the two short weeks she has been there, she's learning to use a walking frame and the difference in just one week is very clear to see. I can only put this down to the patience and dedication of the staff, and their attentiveness, not just to my mother, but to the two of us. Their interaction with my mother I think is the key to keeping her motivated. I would just like to say a heartfelt thanks to all the staff for their professionalism and dedication.
I have just spent six weeks in Medlock Court and must say I have been so well looked after. The carers are wonderful, the place is so clean and the food is excellent. I was happy to be there and the philosophy is so kind and staff do a wonderful job.
The care and professionalism afforded to Mum during her recent stay at Medlock Court was exemplary. Mum arrived from the hospital being unable to support herself as she had suffered a number of recent falls. The support and care shown to her during those early days was second to none and resulted in Mum being self sufficient and able to walk again with the aid of a frame and maintain her independence throughout the remainder of her three week stay. As a family, we are indebted to the specialist staff at Medlock Court whom we cannot thank enough. For those of you who are to undertake this journey, either as an individual or as a family then you will be in excellent hands. Thank you ALL once again.
