View Full Details of AmadeusMy brother was admitted to Amadeus about three months ago; he'd previously lived on his own with numerous physical and mental health problems. Since he has moved to Amadeus his mental health has improved dramatically; he's happier than he has been for years and it is all thanks to the owner and his staff. He's also eating better than for a long time - he loves the food! On the occasions I have visited him, it's noticeable that all of the staff are very friendly - my brother has had many years of distrusting people, part of his social anxiety problem; whilst that illness is still evident, it is less of an issue now than it was previously. Thanks to everyone at Amadeus.
My dad has been at Amadeus a few months now. I was sceptical about putting him in a care home, but I’m happy he’s in Amadeus. All the staff are amazing, friendly and always have done what I’ve asked of them for my dad. My dad loves it there and is so happy and content, I couldn’t recommend a better care home.
Great staff who genuinely care for the residents. Lovely family feel home. Staff were brilliant settling my sister into the home. She is well cared for and encouraged to take part in the many activities the staff put on for the residents.
My mum moved into Amadeus about a year ago. She was more or less at death's door before she went in but in the last year has recovered remarkably well. Getting a good feed three times a day has obviously helped and she's now back to her normal weight, after being 2-3 stone underweight when she moved in. She loves the staff and seems to get on with the other residents. The staff are excellent and always keep me informed of any issues.
The staff are just lovely, caring, kind, always smiley, upbeat, and fun and I feel very fortunate and reassured that my mum is in such safe hands. I have such great admiration and appreciation of the staff, especially doing such a smashing job in what can be quite a challenge, so as ever thank you to all concerned.
As my uncle's next of kin, I had to find him a care home because he could no longer live alone, once I had visited Amadeus I knew this was the place for him. The first thing I was impressed with was the fresh smell and cleanliness of everywhere in the home and after visiting weekly for more than twelve months I can say I am still as impressed. My uncle has always enjoyed his food and enjoys everything he is given, on one occasion he didn't really want his dinner so to encourage him to eat they offered to make his favourite cheese on toast, which to me is going above and beyond. The management and staff at Amadeus are professional, sincere, and respectful to me, to my uncle they are also kind, affectionate, and loving, and share lots of laughter with him. At Amadeus, the staff spend lots of time and effort entertaining and engaging with the residents, and every week they keep their minds active with days of baking, crafts, bingo, board games, karaoke and dancing. Thank you for all your kindness.
I regularly visit a friend who is disabled and I am pleased to say he could not get better care anywhere. I appreciate most the smiling faces and sincere attitudes of all the staff.
We cannot praise Amadeus enough for the way they welcomed Mum into their home. She was admitted with dementia and the care and consideration they gave her and a lot of good laughs we will never forget. Mum passed after just over three months of staying there peacefully and with dignity, with a member of staff always by her side. Even when she was bedridden and unresponsive towards the end, there was always someone talking to her and looking after her. In our opinion, they went above and beyond and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you all so very much.
We, as a family, are completely delighted with the care our mum received at Amadeus during her stay. I cannot rate the staff highly enough. The kindness shown from all of them and the smiles and support they gave mum during her unsettled period was second to none. The premises are spotless and smell fresh and clean. The food was great and the support for family members was lovely. Thank you all for looking after mum the way you did.
I can only commend the health, safety and cleanliness of the home. The staff are brilliant with the residents. My mother-in-law was in for respite. It took her a while to settle as she has dementia but when she was leaving to go home, she was hugged by every member of staff on duty, who all said they were sorry to see her go. The manager told us to contact him even if we only needed a couple of days respite. As a family, we will not hesitate in putting mum back in for care at Amadeus. Thank you so much.
My uncle lived in Amadeus for just over two years. He was very happy and contented there. The staff were lovely, really friendly and very caring. His physical health improved significantly after his move there and the staff ensured that he was always well groomed and comfortable. The atmosphere in the home was very welcoming, they made it very homely. The level of cleanliness was excellent and the meals were nutritious. My uncle was very happy there and enjoyed the camaraderie. In my opinion, it is an excellent home.
My Aunt spent 12 months living at Amadeus before passing away in Salford Royal Hospital. Despite missing being in her own home, she was very settled at Amadeus. The Manager and staff were superb and always on hand, and there was always something to engage and entertain the guests. Many thanks for providing the care and support you did for my Aunt.
Mum came to Amadeus in November 2016, this was a stressful and worrying time for myself and family, as putting your parent into a care home can be upsetting. However, I really needn't have worried as the care and attention mum has received has been wonderful. Russell and his staff have been extremely caring and understanding of mums complex needs as she suffers from Alzheimer's, and can sometimes be challenging. The Manager and his staff have always been accommodating and nothing is to much trouble. He is always looking at ways to help manage mum's illness, even giving his staff extra professional training. Amadeus is a clean, tidy and welcoming environment. Entertainment is a regular occurrence and the activity coordinator involves the residents on a daily basis with group activities. I would not hesitate to recommend Amadeus to anyone who is looking for a care home for their loved one.
Mum stayed at Amadeus for just over a year following her stroke in 2015. The staff at the home are fantastic and work very hard, mum was immediately put at ease on her arrival at the home even with her speech difficulty, the staff were patient with her and allowed her to take her time trying to communicate with them. Mum got on with each and every member of the staff and every day she was laughing and joking with them. Herself and the staff were very upset when the day came for her to leave to move into her "granny annexe" We will definitely be keeping in touch with staff members and will pop in from time to time to say hello. The only negative comment mum has was the food, very bland and lacked much taste. I would definitely recommend Amadeus.
I was extremely apprehensive about having to place my Mother in care. I needn't have worried at all. Amadeus was the first Care Home that I visited and straight away I was taken in with the atmosphere there. I didn't book an appointment, I just turned up mid-morning. The residents were engaged in a quiz noisily taking part. The staff were all happy and smiling. I was shown around by the manager and his dog. He brings his dog nearly every day and everyone makes such a fuss of her and she makes a fuss of the Residents too. Care for my Mother couldn't have been better. I would strongly advise anybody to really consider Amadeus, I don't think they will be disappointed.
My Aunt, resident at the home for nearly 2 years. Before choosing a place for her at Amadeus, I had visited various others. However I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and atmosphere at the home. The Manager and all the staff are always in hand, and continued to provide excellent help for my aunt who needed lots of care. Plenty of activities throughout the week, and the residents are looked after very well. The rooms are a good size and kept clean and comfortable. I would be happy to recommend Amadeus to anyone who has a relative who needs the highest standard of care.
The home has caring and hard working members of staff. The rooms are of good size allowing the residents to have privacy if needed and surrounded by their own furniture and possessions. The activities and outings amuse and entertain the residents
