My mother, who suffered from dementia has been resident for about 18 months, she is very happy there and often thinks she is on holiday. The staff are friendly and welcoming and care diligently for the residents. The home is always clean and tidied. The staff have given a lot of thought to making it look like a family home. I think its wonderful that the food is cooked fresh and this is a key to my satisfaction with the home. I would be devastated if this was changed as I am very aware how important good nutrition is.

Mum moved in as a full-time resident in March 2024. The care she has received has been outstanding. Always the same friendly and caring staff. Her room is lovely and when mum was having trouble sleeping following a discussion with mum they suggested we bring her a double bed. I know Mum is safe and looked after. Very much recommend Claremont Lodge.

Excellent staff very caring. The facilities are very good. Lift always works. The place is calm and tidy. The rooms are spacious and tidy.

My mother has been a resident at Claremont for five years. She is happy and settled. The staff, several of whom have worked there for many years, are caring and efficient and I am confident that she is receiving excellent care. Claremont is spotlessly clean, always smells fresh and the residents are clean, tidy and well cared for. The care home provides a family-like environment and the staff always have time to sit and talk to the residents or just to hold a comforting hand. I have no hesitation in recommending Claremont to anyone looking for a small, comfortable, caring, well run and happy home for their loved ones.

Very homely for residents. Small and friendly. Nice and friendly staff to residents and family. My father seems content and safe.

My mum has been here since November 2018. She is always well dressed and clean. The staff paint her nails for her and put lipstick on which she loves. She's got a nice big room with all her photos put up. She's put weight on since moving in because the food is so good. Staff are always friendly towards us and we can turn up to visit any time just not at meal times. My mum is very settled and this is thanks to the staff.

The home caters for elderly and vulnerable adults with a range of disabilities. The staff are caring, professional and show empathy towards their clients. The residents all have care plans in place, are fed balanced nutritious meals and are cared for.

My sister has been a resident for three years and I can't thank the home enough for their care during these years. Apart from my sister, my mother was a resident between 1999 -2002 and her care was the same. The staff are great and so friendly.

Claremont Lodge is a small, friendly care home. Staff are long-term, rather than agency workers and therefore know residents well. The atmosphere is very friendly and caring. I have marked activities as satisfactory but they appear to be relevant for most residents.
