View Full Details of Beechfield LodgeMyself and my sisters are very happy with Beechfield Lodge and all the staff. My dad is very confused and all the staff are kind, polite and caring with him, He says he is not happy with the food, but he looks well fed. He enjoys going out on external activities and taking part in the home based activities.
My mum moved into Beechfield Lodge in March 2022. Sadly passed away January 2025. This review covers the time mum stayed in Beechfield. Thank you to all the staff that looked after my mum (who had dementia) and made her feel at home and enjoyed the activities and friendship with all the staff. Special thanks to the manager and carers, two in particular, who were brilliant with mum upto her passing.
I like the female staff and my room is lovely. I'm not overkeen on the food, but like the tea and biscuit and activities.
Mum is cared for very well. Staff are compassionate and considerate and demonstrate the right amount of positive, support encourage with mobilising and self care. Whilst giving all the help she needs. Responsive to Mum's needs. We feel Mum is safe, the appropriate processes re controlled drugs etc. and her personal security. Ultimately Mum is happy and we are reassured.
We are happy with the care Mum receives here at Beechfield. Mum is well looked after and the staff are very attentive.
Beechfield Lodge is a modern purpose built care home with excellent facilities. Resident's rooms are spacious and most have a separate bath/showerroom and kitchen. The home is kept very clean and has a pleasant odour. Staff are professional and approachable. The carers treat the residents with kindness and respect and the residents always appeared settled and happy. There are enclosed secure gardens for residents to enjoy. I cannot fault the home in any way. Thank you.
My mother has been in the home for 2 years and from day 1 we was very happy with the care she has been receiving.
Overall review is that Beechfield Lodge is pleasant, staff are kind & give dignity & respect to my grandmother.
I dont come very often but my expeiance over all I cannot find anything to comment about, all positve!
My mother has been here for 2.5 years. I cannot fault the place. The staff are amazing, residents always well dressed, look clean & tidy. The care home itself is well kept, clean tidy, no offensive smells. Bright, fresh, airy. I every over heard 2 residents talking to one and other expressing how happy they are to live at Beechfield. Thats the best review ever when residents express it.
Whilst my mother has been a resident of Beechfield Lodge, she has lived in a very comfortable clean flat of her own. She has access to communal areas and mixed with other residents enjoying entertainment, activities & weekly trips. It has given me peace of mind knowing she was well looked after and happy. I cannot fault the care she has received plus the dignity she deserved in her final days with many staff going above & beyond their expected duties. I am forever grateful for all they have provided.
It's my brother in law that has a problam with remebering, thing. He has settled very well staff are great he say's the food is good, Myself & my husband have supported anything that is going on and are very pleased in all that is done for him.
Feel very happy that Nana is safe & cared for.
All staff very helpfull. The staff take very good care of my mum. Would like to say thank you.
My grandma enjoys her time at Beechfield lodge. The tea and the biscuits are always loved.
Mum came to the home in November 2024 and has settled in well, after it was decided she needed 24-hour care. From the onset, have found all the staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. The home is clean and well-furnished. I haven't noticed any unpleasant odours during my visits. Activities are daily and it's nice to see staff interacting and the residents participating. Communication is strong with the manager, leading a very good team. Overall, my opinion of the home is excellent and I am optimistic that their high standards will continue along with the high standard of care shown to Mum.
My mother has been at Beechfield Lodge since August this year. As time has gone on, she has become a lot more settled and my sister and myself believe that this is down to the staff who she can't praise enough. Very friendly and helpful, she thinks the food could be improved. Overall, she is in the best place where she feels safe and is being looked after around the clock.
My dad entered Beechfield Lodge in October 2024. The staff are very caring and Beechfield, in general, is well run and has a welcoming atmosphere. My dad's room is spacious and cheery with two large windows letting in plenty of light. The staff take my dad out frequently which is great. Choice of meals seems good. Many thanks to all the staff and management.
The staff at Beechfield Lodge always welcome me when I go to visit my friend, the home is always clean and smells fresh. My friend is well looked after, as are te other residents. I am sorry I can't rate 'value for money' as I don't know what she pays. On behalf of me and my friend, please say a big thank you to all concerned. Also, we went to the Christmas fayre which was a lovely afternoon out for us all.
Mum has been a resident at Beechfield Lodge for two years now. We, as a family, are so happy with Mum's care, especially health matters, the staff are so attentive and caring and concerns are highlighted and dealt with promptly and professionally. GP, nurse led and all other medical aspects are dealt with and this peace of mind is priceless for the family. This career of carers is a vocation!
