View Full Details of Lisburne CourtAlways a warm welcoming from all staff when visiting parent. Family member settled in well, sense of safety, enjoy's the company of other residents, and joins in their activities.
My wife passed away in Hospital November 2024 having been a resident at Lisburne Court for almost 5 years and I have nothing but praise for how they looked after her during this period. The home is so well-managed and the staff and carers at all levels were really friendly, professional, compassionate and dedicated. Throughout my wife's time there I was always made welcome and kept well-informed about her health and wellbeing and news about forthcoming activities or changes at the home. This would be by face-to-face contact and monthly resident's meetings and newsletters. Once my wife settled down after being admitted she was happy and always had a smile for staff, carers and myself and family. This gave me great peace of mind knowing she was happy and being well looked after. Every week there were some great activities and quality entertainment, often with participation by the carers and relatives. Much more I could mention but suffice it to say thank you Lisburne Court, you are amazing.
All staff are friendly and welcoming. Plenty of activities are going on, and residents are taken out to different places. All in all, it's a good all-round place, which always has something going on. The place is clean and tidy, and the rooms are clean and tidy.
I am very happy with both the quality of care and the facilities at Lisburne Court. The staff are well-trained and look after my mum with kindness and care. The food is of a good standard and the bedrooms and day rooms are kept very clean and tidy. My mum particularly enjoys the varied programme of trips and activities, which are excellent. The management and staff always have time to spare to talk to relatives as well, which I find very helpful.
Mum had been a resident at Lisburne Court since 2018 and has been part of the Lisburne Court family from day one. Choosing a care home for a loved one is a difficult and traumatic experience for family members, but Lisburne Court and its staff and manager cannot be faulted for the care and support that they have given both Mum and me throughout her time there. Lisburne Court is a family, and each resident is cared for as an individual within that family community. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Relatives are constantly updated and referred to if anything arises, and advice and support are offered and greatly received. From entertainment, Birthday parties, activities, personal care, great food, family afternoons and trips etc. The staff care wholeheartedly about Mum and everyone else there. They are dedicated, caring, hardworking, empathetic and supportive. We couldn't have chosen a better place for Mum. Thank you for everything you do.
Staff are always very friendly and helpful if you have any concerns, you can speak to any of the staff and feel assured that these concerns will be dealt with efficiently and quickly. The home always has lots of activities and many singers, bands or other entertainers coming in to keep the residents involved.
I've been very happy with the care given to my mother. Initially, she moved in as an emergency placement, and I am so relieved that we got lucky. All the staff are caring and attentive and work hard to provide a stimulating environment with regular outings. The rooms are clean and comfy. The touches of a mock bar and hairdressing salon on-site are added comforts, and the garden is well-kept. Not long ago, they arranged a celebration for my mother's 90th birthday that family and friends enjoyed also. They're also attentive to her health needs and doing their best to keep her happy.
Mum is so happy and settled here and is very well cared for with all the amazing staff that Mum thinks the world of, and they love Mum too, which is just so lovely. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff. There is always entertainment at least twice a week and a trip out for many of the residents at least once a month, which Mum really enjoys going on. The activity co-ordinator works extremely hard to put a smile on everyone's faces and always goes above and beyond for all residents and family members as well. Thank you all so much, everyone at Lisburn Court, it is so reassuring to know that Mum is in safe hands and is so happy and settled with you.
My Mum has been in Lisburne Court for almost 4 years now. I continue to be so pleased with the care she receives. This was highlighted recently when Mum was admitted to the hospital. The care is so much better and suited to her needs as the carers know her routine and needs so well. Staff are invested in their resident's well-being from the manager down. The home is welcoming to family, and I feel included in the plans and activities organised. There is also a wealth of stimulating activities and entertainment provided.
My mother has been a resident in Lisburne Court for 16 months and I am very happy with the care she is receiving. All the staff are excellent and the organised activities are outstanding.
I have been to see my dad today with my mum to find out he had been in hospital for three days because he was bringing up blood and being sick. They never contacted my mum. When I confronted the manager about this, she said my other sister, who we don't talk to, she said they got her down as next of kin, which is bang out of order as for my mum is his next of kin. Some of the staff are very nice then you get an arrogant person downstairs trying to talk down to you.
Excellent well-trained staff. Lively warm care home. All residents seem happy and well cared for. Good food and meals. Rooms are clean and tidy. Lots of good entertainment.
All the staff are wonderful.
