Dad is presently on bed rest for a pressure area they have identified. They have asked nursing teams to review regularly. Dad has fluids in his room and they turn him throughout the day. The team are great at getting my aging dad up with dignity, for meals and drinks.

My Dad has been at Claremont for a few years now and he is very happy, we could not have chosen a better home for him. Staff are the best in every way, kind, caring, patient and very friendly. Food is wonderful according to my Dad.

My mum has been a resident at the Claremont Care Home for three years. The Management and care staff are excellent and quickly built up a pleasing relationship with Mum; they always do their best to make her comfortable and always treat her with respect and dignity. Thank you to all of the staff who give our mum such an outstanding level of care.

Claremont is a very homely place. The staff are all so caring. They help to make a pleasurable stay for all the residents. Claremont is very clean and well-presented.

My mother is really happy at Claremont Care Home and settled in very well. The staff are kind, patient, caring and friendly giving the place a real family atmosphere. They are also very approachable to discuss well-being issues. They organised a Jubilee Party last summer in the garden, it was a fun and happy occasion. Last week the residents sang carols in the lounge by the lovely Christmas tree, with lots of smiles and laughter. The residents can join in as much as they like but privacy is also respected. It puts my mind at rest knowing that my mother is in a safe environment and is enjoying herself.

Our initial search revealed that the Care Quality Commission had rated Claremont Care Home ‘Good’ in every respect. Our loved one had her own room with personal bathroom facilities and was able to bring her own favourite artefacts, making it more homely. She was very happy there, giving us great peace of mind. Staff-to-resident ratios were good. Staff were kind and patient, letting us know if anything was needed. Safeguarding processes were in place for dementia. Liaison with social services and local agencies was good. Care processes were well established; nutrition, laundry, hairdressing etc. Walking frames and wheelchairs were available for outside trips. Claremont allowed us special events such as a private birthday tea, which enabled us to have some special time alone with her. We were extremely satisfied with everything about Claremont Care Home and would confidently recommend it as a safe, caring and secure environment for your loved one.
