View Full Details of Roby Lodge Care HomeA lovely visit. The staff were friendly and attentive and you can tell they treated my grandmother with the care, attention, and dignity she deserved. So glad she is in a place where her needs are met in a respectful manner.
My experience of my mum's care has always been very good. Staff are friendly and polite and Mum seems very happy with all.
From day one we as a family have been shown so much kindness and respect, at this lovely home. All the staff are so hard working, to make this home the lovely home it is. We knew we leave our Mum in a lovely, safe place we thank you all.
Excellent care home. The staff are fantastic, always polite, activities every day. Every time we visit we are made welcome everybody chats, and residents are happy. The place itself is really clean, and the rooms are lovely. My aunty is happy and we feel she is very well looked after and have no worries or concerns about her care. Security is good, my aunty and residents are safe and secure definitely recommend it to anyone, best care home I've been to.
I feel that my mum is completely safe and content in Roby Lodge. The staff are superb and really supportive to mum and my family. Activities on a daily basis. This is a well-run and efficient care home. Compliments to all the staff and management team.
Mum has settled into Rocy Lodge and is very happy there. She loves the staff and the company of the other residents. As a family, we are really happy with Mum's care. Staff are very kind and professional, and the residents are looked after well. The food is of a really good standard and all needs are catered for. The home is kept very clean and tidy by the great housekeeping team, and the laundry staff do a wonderful job keeping residents' clothes clean and fresh.
Due to Mum's type 2 diabetes she should not be overloaded with food/meals/milkshakes and juices. Not good with healthy options. Alternative to a heavy meal are sandwiches made with 'cheap' margarine. Mum would 'never' have milkshakes or cereal, cakes and or biscuits but 'continually' offered them. This affects her bowels/stoma and leads to discomfort and lethargy. Also due to meals being transported from adjacent building they can be warm/cold. There's nothing wrong with her and others just having a good 'ole' cuppa tea instead of sugary juices and disgusting milkshakes. This needs addressing.
All staff and management have been excellent from day one. Mum has been in Roby Lodge for only 4 weeks but has settled in straight away. Mum has been entertained, had her hair cut and eating well. We feel she is in a safe and caring place and are very grateful to all the staff.
Care home management and staff are excellent and work really hard to care for the residents. I feel that an extra member of staff is needed at times as staff can become very stretched caring for the more needy residents.
Visited today. All staff were very cheery and taking great care of the residents. One staff member in particular was brilliant and gave lots of information asked for and was super helpful. The home seemed nice and clean and the rooms are nice and spacious.
An amazing team who looked after my mum providing dignified care and compassion around the clock. Knowing how well my mum was looked after gave me great peace of mind. During her recent end-of-life care, I cannot praise the staff enough. Even though they were busy, nothing was too much trouble - and I was astounded at how well they supported and looked after me and my family whilst in her last few days. I will never forget the amazing people and will always be indebted to them. Thank you with all of my heart.
My auntie was in Roby Lodge Care Home Liverpool, she was moved from elsewhere. She passed away on 21.1.24 in Roby Lodge and the care she received was really very good. She was treated at the end of life with dignity and care. I spent her last 4 days with her and the staff were amazingly kind to myself and her son, my cousin. I have had experience in care homes as a manager, being retired 10 years ago. I would like to say that you. You should be proud of your staff and management in Roby Lodge.
My grandad moved in recently to Roby Lodge. The care is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble from management and care staff. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for care for their loved one. We can sleep at night knowing our grandad is being well looked after. Keep up the good work.
We have seen a significant change in Roby Lodge since around May 2023 - the culture has changed from cleaners to care staff, and all the staff interact with residents and families. The staff know the residents personally and know their little quirks, it is so nice to see activities being introduced and tailored to the residents' needs, I love the fact that I have the reassurance that Mum is being taken care of at the highest level.
The staff have been kind, caring and informative and have cared for Mum above and beyond their many duties.
I am so thankful for all the support that was given to my nan and our family during her stay and really felt at home there! Her weight increased and her mental health improved dramatically. I would highly recommend them!
Gets good care and is well looked after.
My father was admitted to Roby Lodge Care Home after recovering from Covid 19. He was in a very poor weakened state. Now after ten months, he is strong and happy. He is very well cared for.
I know how difficult it is to care for dementia patients, but the staff at Roby House look after my mother well and I know she is well cared for, well fed and clean.
My mum moved here from another care home when it closed down, and I can't believe how quickly she has settled in. The staff are fantastic, and the level of care is superb. I know my mum is well looked after, and I cannot fault the level of care. I could highly recommend Roby Lodge to anyone.
