Brown Edge House Residential Home has an excellent approach with the residents. It is clear when I visit the residents feel safe and trusting of the staff. We (the family) are kept informed of any potential issues and concerns.

I have always found that "all" of the staff at Brown Edge House Residential Home are accommodating with any requests. Always showing utmost respect and empathy for my mother. Brown Edge always seem to have a warm and family feeling when I walk into the home.

My friend has been staying in Brown Edge House Residential Home for quite a few years now! She has always been happy and content there. I have found the staff and management to be excellent in her care and well-being. I would not hesitate to recommend Brown Edge to friends and family.

Excellent care for my mother in law, nothing is too much trouble, very homely environmental everybody in there looks happy as if they've never left their own home. In fact I would go as far to say, especially in our case, it has proved to be a more fulfilling place for mum-in-law than her original home, can't praise the staff and management enough.

Mum was admitted into Brown Edge House Residential Home in June 2021. She settled in very well, and the staff have made her welcome and feel at home. Mum is happy with the meals provided. Having been admitted to Brown Edge House, coming from Morecombe, enables my wife and I to visit regularly each week instead of once a week whilst in Morecombe. Overall, we are all happy that Mum is in a very good care home.

My father went to Brown Edge on 18th January 2022. Unfortunately, he died on 26th April 2022. He was 99 years old. Although he didn't want to go into care, we had no option. Brown Edge staff were brilliant and the home was in excellent condition. I honestly could not recommend it enough. I think because it only has 20 residents, it seemed to have the personal touch. Privately owned, rather than a larger home or a chain of large homes, where profit and cost-cutting would be the be all and end all.

Brown Edge House Residential Home staff cared for our mum with the utmost compassion and kindness. In her last days the support for our family was incredible we cannot praise the entire staff enough they all went above and beyond anything anyone could ask for. I would recommend Brown Edge to anyone, a clean and happy place that is a home.

Found the home to have a warm and relaxing atmosphere when entering, the staff are always pleasant and helpful to deal with. They keep the residents occupied with games of bingo and general knowledge quizzes, they go out of their way to make a residents Birthday a special day for them. Always kept clean to a high standard throughout, on the whole, a home I would recommend to friends.

My mum is a resident at the home she is very happy there. The staff are warm and friendly nothing is too much trouble. During these uncertain and stressful times, the owners and staff have managed to run the home insuring the residents and staff have been kept safe.

The management and Staff at Brown Edge House have done and continue to keep my dad and all the other residents safe well and entertained during an extremely difficult year. Staff go above and beyond to make a home from home atmosphere there is always lots of love fun and laughter. I am confident Dad feels safe and secure and all his needs are catered for. Nothing is too much trouble.

My mum spent 2 weeks in Brown Edge for respite and they couldn't do enough to make mum feel at home and cared for. The manager can't do enough for you, she keeps you up to date all the time and responds to you instantly. All the carers are lovely and really care for the residents and make them feel special. Mum's room was beautiful. I can't talk highly enough about Brown Edge they truly care and I highly recommend this care home. The owners run this care home really well and are lovely people. Thank you Brown Edge for making mum's stay memorable and enjoyable.

Brown Edge House is an excellent care home, all residents are extremely well cared for. My aunt is happy and settled there. My father was in the care home earlier and he was also happy and well cared for. When it comes time for me to need care, (I'm 80 this year) I have made it known to my LPA to select Brown Edge House.

My aunt has lived here since January 2019. From day 1 she was welcomed like a long lost friend into her new extended family. The atmosphere is always warm and positive. Individuality is key, whether it be clothes, having a lie-in or any other issue. The staff are always pleasant, polite and accommodating. Aunt loves to sing which all staff encourage and join in with. She will be celebrating her 100th birthday in October, and I know the owners and all staff will give her and her family a day to cherish. Sincerely from the bottom of my heart, I bless the day she arrived at this care home.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Entertainment on a regular basis. Would benefit from bathrooms in the room.

The BBQ was very good, fresh and tasty. Staff were very helpful making sure all needs were met. The man who cooked the BBQ obviously enjoyed what he was doing and took pride in it. Excellent trifle and fruit salad. All staff were friendly.

Dad has been in the home for nearly a year. We are more than happy with the care he receives. All staff treat him with the utmost respect. The owners go above and beyond to make sure it is a home from home.

The staff are very warm and welcoming and I have observed them treating residents with kindness, courtesy and respect. My mum is very happy at Brown Edge House and we feel that staff listen to and act on any concerns raised.

My mother has been a resident in Brown Edge Care Home for 15 months. She has always been treated with respect, dignity and appropriate humour. She feels safe and protected in an environment that is always clean. I am kept informed about any changes or concerns in my mother's circumstances, and her health and wellbeing are discussed with me regularly. My mother is kept clean always and her clothes are laundered daily. The owners and staff are kind and caring to the residents and welcoming to visitors. It's a happy home.
