View Full Details of Hampton CourtAlways found staff to be very pleasant and welcoming. They try to include all residents to join in the various activities that I've seen going on when I have visited at various times.
I have contemplated and cogitated and concluded that Hampton Court is well-led by the manager with a good team supporting her and quests. I have no concerns in her care whilst she is a resident in the home, as the room she sleeps in is comfortable enough and she is well-fed and relatively happy. Her day might well be a bit more active and the staff may well reflect that in the future. To all that are involved in my wife's care - thank you.
Deeply regret putting my beloved Mum in this home. Found my Mum in bed unconscious and had to phone an emergency ambulance myself. Paramedics shocked on arrival. Failed to let either myself or my sister know until 4.30 pm that they had left our Mum in bed all day, despite specifically informing the manager that our Mother was not to be left in bed/put back to bed. Kept asking staff to bring in the GP. They claimed that they could not get through to my Mum's GP despite hanging on the phone for 2 hours, yet I am advised that all care homes have a direct telephone number to the GP. They did not keep a fluid chart and let our Mother become seriously dehydrated. Tried to move my Mum to another more suitable care home, but the manager gave my Mum a very bad review at the telephone assessment so that the new care home would not take my Mum, who was charged almost £1,000 per week (from her own money). Cannot recommend Hampton Court.
Over the last two years I have been visiting the home almost every day to visit my friend who sadly had dementia and needed extra support. Firstly on arrival the welcome was lovely and my friend had settled in and found many new friends, and the freedom to walk around the 3 spacious lounges and join in the warm, calm atmosphere. I was always greeted by smiling and laughter, the care was dignified, professional and kind. The manager, deputy manager and all staff are exceptional in all they have done over the last two years, the best home we could of chosen, they met all needs and beyond up until the final days. The care stepped up when more support and nursing input was needed, what a wonderful team, thank you all.
Can't fault the care that was given to my friend when she was here. Staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home to anyone looking for somewhere for a family member.
Hampton Court is a lovely place, the staff are excellent and look after my grandad with dignity and respect. They are always flexible with visiting hours and let me visit whenever I want, couldn't be happier with the service and the catering is fantastic.
Hampton Court is an amazing Home. The managers and all of the staff are so welcoming, they cater to every need attentively with compassion and care as they all go the extra mile if not further. Best home in the area.
My auntie is currently staying in Hampton Court Care Home and has to say she loves it there! Hampton Court is such a lovely home and all of the staff there are super friendly! An all-around great place!
My mum and aunty are both in there. My aunty hasn't settled as well as my mum. She has good days and bad. Mum has settled very well; she's so happy. The staff are lovely and kind and see to both their needs.
This care home is fantastic. My relative loves it here. The staff are brilliant, full of empathy and extremely caring. The manager really goes the extra mile to ensure all residents are happy and made to feel secure and included in lots of activities personally catered to suit individual needs. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone looking for a secure and comfortable place for their loved one to reside. Well done to the manager and all of the team, you are all brilliant!
Really liked this home, really nice staff, patient and empathetic. Always there to reassure me or my aunt who resided there. Would recommend the care home to others. The manager was also lovely and approachable.
All of the staff have been very accommodating with my Nana and her needs. They have been working out what is best for her to drink from as she has a terrible tremor in her hands, they have also organised for her to have her hair done every week The home is always lovely and clean and the staff are always very attentive. My family is very pleased that my nana is being looked after so well here and she also has the freedom to pop out for coffee with my grandad as and when they like. Thank you for all the work you do.
What a home! I do not get to visit much as I am elderly myself. They welcomed me with open arms, including other residents of the home. When I was there myself and my sister took part in a parent's evening. We were able to have a meeting with the manager and we helped plan the care my brother needs. It was wonderful that me and my sister had a trip down memory lane with my brother and the manager of the home. I did not know much about dementia but she was able to enlighten me and point me in the right direction of where I can find out more information. I come away really refreshed and positive that he is going to get the care he needs.
My Nana lives at Hampton Court. She is very settled and happy. It was hard to see her in there at first but after a couple of visits I felt like part of the family. The home have been doing child therapy with residents. My nana loves this! It makes her feel like she has children again.
I do not get to see my brother that often as I live in London. I visited this month and the staff made such a fuss for us. We had afternoon tea in the pod, we were able to have our own space. The home made scones tasted delicious! When I was there the staff introduced me to the App called Cluster. Using this I am able to see what is happening in the home when the staff post pictures. I am now looking forward to seeing new pictures when I am all the way in London.
My sister in law lived at Hampton Court. She was so involved with all activities when she first arrived. We was so happy that she had a new lease of life. She had new friends (more than what she did at home). We did not feel bad at all as we knew she was in safe hands of the fantastic care team they had. One of the days the cleaner even helped my sister in law to the toilet. It truly is a home from home experience. Unfortunately, my sister in law had a natural decline in her health and passed away. However, the care staff nursed her in bed until her very last moments. She was treated with the best dignity and respect that I have ever witnessed. One day I came to the home and when I walked in the room a member of staff was holding her hand and was singing to her. I would highly recommend this home for all those unpaid carers out there who are struggling out there. Thank you Hampton Court, not all superheroes wear capes, they wear a uniform!
I spoke to the manager about 2 months before my Mother-in-law went in to Hampton Court for a 10 day stay. I felt completely reassured and confident after speaking to her that my Mother-in-law who suffers with Dementia would be treated with the utmost dignity and respect, and I can honestly say she was. All the staff have my total respect for the wonderful way in which they dedicate their time and show such care to all the residents. They really are angels in disguise and couldn’t do enough for all the residents staying there. The manager showed me around everywhere and answered all my questions and concerns. The transition from day one was very easy and by the end of my Mother-in-laws stay, the staff didn’t want her to leave and they had fallen in love with her. Thank you Hampton Court. You exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend this care home to anyone. Kind regards.
Mum has been here for seven and a half years, and overall, her care and support has been very good. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. We/I would recommend this care home quite readily.
The carers at Hampton Court go over and above what they are meant do in their everyday duties. There is teamwork - making the place run as smoothly as possible. As family we are kept informed about our mum.
I find it very happy here. I can't find any fault with the staff or residents.
