View Full Details of Cedar GrangeI have visited Cedar Grange 3 times to visit my friend, and each time have been impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The cleanliness of everywhere, and how nicely dress she is. The use of the rooms is quite inspired with the lovely, bright dining room and the effort put in to make each area interesting.
Cedar Grange is a lovely home with lovely staff who are always helpful and supportive, overall very pleased with the way the home cares for my mum. She has been a resident since 2018 and is happy there.
The staff at this care home take excellent care of my mother. She is always dressed in clean clothes that are her own clothes and she is clean and well presented. The activities that are provided keep her well stimulated and interested in taking part with whatever is planned! The photographs are lovely to see up on the board when we visit. Her bedroom is always spotless and not too hot. We as a family feel reassured that our mother is safe, cared for and happy in the home that we chose for her to live in. Big thank you to all the staff
Cedar Grange is a beautiful care home. The residents all seem well cared for. There are also activities arranged for them including exercise sessions and crafts. We are very happy with the care that my Dad receives at Cedar Grange. He is very well looked after and always seems happy. .The staff are really helpful and friendly. We are pleased that we can visit at anytime of the day and don't have to make an appointment like some of the care homes we looked at!
I cannot write a poor enough review of this care home. My dad spent a short amount of time here last year, and whilst the nursing staff were great, they were overworked/understaffed. After an initial consultation visit and accepting my dad (who has dementia) I had high hopes... things went downhill quickly. They failed to recognise my dads UTI condition and as a result he was difficult to deal with. Rather than diagnosing/helping, they called the police on him as well as trying to charge additional 1-2-1 costs even though there was nobody actually looking after him 1-2-1 when I visited. Within a week of entering the home I was receiving threatening phone calls from the management/owner of the care group informing me I had 48hrs to get my Dad out of the home - this was in direct breach of the contract they had laid out which stated 7 days notice. Avoid.. nothing against the staff, but disgraceful behaviour from the owners.
My mother entered Cedar Grange in October 2024 with both mobility difficulties and vascular dementia. Initially, she found it difficult to settle, but the professionalism and caring staff quickly resolved the problem. She has made friends with some of residents and joined the activities. The most impressive feature is the rapid response to any health issues.
I wanted you to note the way my Mum was being dressed. I'm only assuming you took note and this last week she has looked good.Matching clothes really good to see. Thankyou
Always good care from staff, my mum has been In cedar grange for over 3 years and has always been well looked after. They are so gentle when feeding her as it is getting difficult now. It is so hard to pick a good home and I fell luck we picked Cedar Grange.
Initially I received a phone call from one member of staff after an information request about the care home. She put my mind at ease and invited me to look round the care home. I met her and was shown a bedroom and all the facilities that were available. I felt at ease and the member of staff answered all m6 questions. On the day when my mum went in I was very apprehensive and nervous. It went very smoothly. The team were excellent and we sorted mums room out so that it was a home from home whilst my mum and dad had a coffee in the kitchen. As we went to leave the staff member took my Mother to a group and we left feeling that this was the right choice.
My friend has been at Cedar Grange for over six months now and from day one, he was made to feel welcome and part of the family there. The care he receives is exceptional. There are often events arranged which are lots of fun and bring enjoyment. To everyone. Over Christmas and for his recent birthday, I was given use of the conservatory to being bring friends and family to celebrate the occasions. All the staff are brilliant.
Mum has settled in quickly and is happy and well cared for. She is always clean and her hair is styled. Mum has lovely clothes and they are well looked after too. The staff are absolutely amazing, warm, friendly and kind. It feels like family already! The staff know Mum's fun, loving, sociable personality and she enjoys the activities and the time the staff spend with her. Cedar is always clean and tidy as is Mum's room. The facilities at Cedar are brilliant the pub, shop, cafe and the decking is a lovely feature overlooking the nursery. The dining room overlooks the lovely gardens. The visitor's conservatory is gorgeous, stocked with drinks. Visitors can enjoy a drink in the pub too!
Overall feel happy with the home and care Mum receives. It is sometimes hard to get through to the care team to let them know I will visit. This is important as Mum has become more incontinent in the last year and requires the toilet before she leaves the home to prevent accidents.
The care and support my Mum, myself and all the family have received since Mum entered Cedar Grange in 2022, and during her recent decline and finally her passing has been excellent and I cannot thank them enough.
The staff are always very friendly, they always make sure Nana is happy and comfortable.

I find the care of my mother to be exceptional. She is clean, well cared for and seems happy in herself. The staff at Cedar Grange are all friendly and interact well with all the residents.
