View Full Details of Bentley Manor Care HomeI want to send a massive thank you to all the staff that have looked after my mum, who sadly passed away on 30th December 2024, aged 86. Mum had been a resident since October 2023. The staff at Bentley Manor Care Home have all been amazing right to the end of Mum's life. All the staff/carers at the home who are busy scooting around doing jobs but still have the time to talk to us about Mum and let us know how the situation was right up to her passing. We will miss visiting the home as we were always welcome and offered plenty of cups of tea. If anybody asks in the future about Bentley Manor and the staff/carers, you have my 100% positive review to give them. Once again, a big thank you.
I visit my mum every day at Bentley Manor Care Home. I have built up a great relationship with all of the team who care for my mum and I couldn't wish for better people to look after her. These are wonderful people who truly understand the needs of the residents. People I enjoy seeing every day, like a family to me. I consider myself very lucky to have found such an awesome place for my mum to feel safe and secure in. Thanks to all at Bentley Manor.
I want to send a massive thank you to all the staff that have looked after my dad, who sadly passed away on 28th November 2024, aged 84. He has been a resident at the Meadows since March 2017 following a terrible stroke that left him unable to move or communicate. Many homes turned us away because of his extreme needs and requirements but Bentley Manor Care Home accepted him without hesitation. I can't really find the words to express my gratitude to everyone who has cared for him over the last eight years. The staff at Bentley Manor have all been amazing right to the end. They have showed enormous kindness and given my dad as much comfort, dignity and quality of life as you could expect in his situation. I am so glad we chose Bentley Manor and that my dad was accepted there. He spent the remaining years of his life in a place that gave him the love and care he so richly deserved. Thank you so much.
The home is always warm and welcoming, staff and resident appear to be very happy. The home appears clean and tidy. The residents have regular entertainment which they appear to appreciate. The outside of the home / gardens always appears to be kept tidy.
My mum has been at Bentley Manor Care Home for twelve months. The carers are very nice, helpful and kind. The food when she first arrived was good but then went downhill when the chef left. There has been improvement though in the last few months. The rooms are kept very clean and the home itself. Some improvements could be made to the front. i.e. around the pond, some tubs of flowers maybe and in the large garden, it's very bare.
From arrival the reception service helped me and my husband to book in, we were made very welcome - and face masks available as a precaution, and directed to my uncle’s room. He was in very good spirits eating his lunch which was a very full plate of food which he was enjoying. He also had some fruit which he enjoys very much (more often rather than pudding). His room is very clean and the care team are very friendly and helpful, he has a bit of fun with the team and likewise. He likes to get out and about a bit of freedom and is able to do so, not confined to his room. We brought our birthday gifts and card and let the care team in reception know (just in case they hadn’t been aware) it was a birthday coming up. Very hardworking, friendly and engaging Care team.
The staff at Bentley Manor Care Home are compassionate and hardworking, providing the care and reassurance anyone would expect for a loved one receiving care. The staff are very friendly and easily approachable and are continually helpful and supportive.
The care, dignity and attention shown to my wife is outstanding.
My mum is well taken care of at Bentley Manor Care Home she’s treated like the queen she is! The staff on the unit she lives on treat her like they would their own mum nothing is too much trouble, and she has a lovely room which is kept clean and tidy for her I wouldn’t want her anywhere else.
What a lovely home! The areas are so bright and themed. This is amazing stimulation especially for my Nana. I particularly love the post office area, what a fabulous idea! The staff are so kind and committed to their profession. The home manager is kind and empathetic and is always happy to talk which I found reassuring and I always left my Nana knowing she was in safe hands and knowing the staff treated her with love and kindness. Thank you all at Bentley so much.
My father has been cared for at Bentley Manor for over 3 years. During this time I have been impressed with the care and dedication of the care and nursing staff. I know my dad is in good caring hands which is so important for our family's peace of mind.
To the whole workforce at Bentley Manor Care Home, I can't begin to write in words how truly thankful I feel during the care of my father for the last two years. It's a beautiful home, but the staff are the real champions. So helpful, empathetic, great manners, etc. I would without hesitation recommend your home to their loved ones. Again, so many, many thank yous.
Two hundred words is not enough to tell you of our time spent at this amazing home and its amazing staff that includes everyone. The cooks, the cleaning staff, the care workers, the nurses, the clerical and the management during his two years at Bentley Manor and been bedridden. I knew he was ina good place and safe hands, so many happy smiling people working as one team, one family with one love and one goal to do the very best for him. When we had to stay in the home during his last days all the staff took it to another level. Unbelieveable. The saying cleanliness is next to godliness is true at Bently Manor. The food is excellent, well done to the kitchen.
My mum has now been here since June. The staff are lovely. They have a very tough job, with such demanding residents. They keep me well informed of my mum's health. I don't have any problems with Bentley Manor, even the admin staff are lovely. We feel she is very safe.
The staff go above and beyond delivering care and support to the residents. Always receive a very friendly, warm reception when visiting. A very safe environment.
Bentley Manor Care Home is excellent, and I am so glad we chose it. My elderly mother has vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s, and in May 2022 was in Bentley Manor for respite care for a fortnight. I was extremely impressed with the whole set-up and the staff working with Mum. Following a fall at home and 4 weeks in hospital, Mum is now a permanent resident in The Willows at Bentley Manor. The staff are amazing! They are caring, compassionate, kind, and work incredibly hard. They treat my mum as if she was their own mother. The patience, gentleness, good humour, high standard of care and professionalism they demonstrate is outstanding. They always have a smile and a kind reassuring word for the residents they are caring for. Each time I visit, it strikes me that Bentley Manor is a very happy place, that all the staff work very well as a team and are extremely dedicated. The home manager is also excellent; it was because I was so impressed with her in the first instance that I chose Bentley Manor Care Home.
Looked after mum first, dad in another home. He had a fall and they accommodated him. Both are now together and very happy. The team did the NHS clap when they were reunited.
My aunty was a resident there for 8 months up until December 2021 and I have nothing but praise. The staff are amazing and the care they provide was over and above what we expected. They not only looked after my aunty but put up with my endless calls to see how she was and looked after us when we visited. Choosing a care home during covid was hard to ensure the right place was picked, but we certainly picked the right one. All of the staff needs praise but a special mention to five ladies are needed as without them I wouldn’t have coped. If any worries are had when looking to choose a home for family members, please put these aside as non are needed. Thank you all for making my aunts days the greatest we could have wished for.
I cannot put into words how amazing this care home is. The care they provide for my mum is exceptional. I am informed of her care all the way through the journey and feel that the carers provide support for us as a family too! I can call to chat to mum whenever I would like, FaceTime is available and they upload pictures of what is going on to Facebook (blurring our faces if asked). My mum has settled so well and believes the carers to be her friends which shows how supportive and caring they are.
Very difficult to review due to Covid. Ringing out of office hours is a nightmare as the phone not answered more often than it is answered.
