View Full Details of Sandiway ManorI visited a friend in Sandiway Manor on Saturday 27th April. She has only been a resident there for a matter of 2 weeks, but how pleasing it was to see how content and comfortable she seemed to be. The atmosphere in the spacious and very welcoming warm lounge was absolutely delightful. All the staff were so kind, and helpful with smiling faces abound. Nothing seemed to be any trouble. My friend told me they had all been taken out to a local ice cream farm just a few days earlier which she had enjoyed immensely, as she had never been before. I shall certainly look forward to my next visit.
Dad moved to Sandiway Manor in January and has settled in very well. The staff are kind, caring, helpful, always there if you have any queries, can't fault it really. The home-cooked meals are excellent too. Nothing is too much trouble, thanks to all the staff. 10/10.
My mum attends daycare twice a week and occasional respite care. Everyone is very welcoming and she always receives a very warm reception from both staff and residents. She enjoys her time at Sandiway Manor and enjoys the wide variety of activities and craft-making. She enjoys the delicious home-cooked meals, especially the desserts and cake. On the occasions that she stays for respite, I know that she will be safe and well being looked after by the very caring staff members.
Saniway has supported Mum and our family through a very difficult period in our lives. Mum feels cared for, and we are welcomed every time we visit. The daily activities are fun and inclusive, and the food is excellent! We are kept informed about Mum's progress with monthly reports/Facebook photos, and if there are any other concerns, then we are telephone and kept up to date. In return, we can voice our concerns and be confident that action will take place as a result. Sandiway is in every sense of the world - home.
My mother is enjoying a new lease of life at Sandiway Manor and takes part in all the activities arranged for the residents. We feel lucky that she is being so well looked after in these difficult times when social contact throughout the country has been restricted for health reasons. The food is varied and freshly cooked in the kitchen each day and very much appreciated by all. The staff are very caring and professional. Thank you so much.
My sincere thanks to all the team at Sandiway Manor for the loving care they provided to my husband. I was so very much in need of a break from caring full time and Sandiway Manor was just what was needed. The staff are wonderfully caring and compassionate and the environment is welcoming, cheerful and kind. Best wishes and thank you to all concerned.
My father has been at Sandiway Manor for the last 9 months and is happy to refer to it as "home". To me, this is the best testimony he can make as he feels cared for, in a happy, safe, comfortable environment. He is happily selling his house as he has a new home now. He particularly comments on the quality of food and caring staff. As his daughter, I am really happy for him to be a resident.
My mother was in Sandiway Manor for a number of years. She was shown respect, care and love during her time there. I will miss my visits to the Manor as I also got to know the staff. For this reason, as I have done recently, I will pop in with some biscuits and have a chat over a cuppa.
My mother used Sandiway Manor for respite care on several occasions after my father died, whenever she was feeling run down and needed pampering for a week or two whilst she recharged her batteries. Shortly before her 90th birthday, Mum decided to move into Sandiway Manor permanently. She absolutely loved the home, her bright personalised room, and having her dietary requirements catered for. Most particularly she loved the staff and management and her fellow residents, all of whom she felt were 'family'. All the staff were incredibly patient with Mum as she became frailer and lost her sight, but remained fully compos mentis. It was evident that the staff treated Mum and the other residents with the dignity and care that they would want for themselves and their own parents. Mum was incredibly happy at Sandiway Manor, right up until the end. Living overseas, my brother and I were delighted and reassured with the care and support Mum received.
