View Full Details of The Clitheroe Residential Care HomeI can't recommend the care home highly enough. The staff are professional and very caring and looked after my mother brilliantly for over 3-years. Every time I visited my mother, she would say "we are well looked after here, and the food is very good." My mother had dementia but always felt safe and comfortable.
Extremely happy with conditions and staff.
Since my mother moved in I have been delighted with the attitude of staff - care, environment and the overall standard offered. Clitheroe Residential offers great care based around a homely, friendly environment and I am delighted with the care my mother is receiving.
The staff are amazing and made my dad feel very welcome, he settled in really quickly. We know he is safe, warm and well cared for, we can't thank the girls enough.
When I visited mum, the staff were always very cheerful and helpful. I am happy with the level of care mum has while she stayed at the care home. I can't comment on activities because I didn't inquire about them.
Since my grandad was placed into the care home we have had peace of mind. All the staff deliver a top rate of care to Grandad and us as a family. The staff are amazing, more importantly, Grandad is happy.
Kind, thoughtful and vastly experienced staff, good food and comfortable accommodation. Attractive, well-planned buildings, warm family atmosphere. All in all a wonderful place to live.
Had to put my mum into a care home. Found this one very local. Early days but mum seems to have come on in leaps and bounds. The home seems very "homely". My mother is now happy to be with others. Far better than being "at home". I know that her dementia will only get worse but the care and happiness in the home is 1st class. The staff and manageress are fantastic.
I have found the care home staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The experience of finding a home for my dad was very emotional, under very difficult circumstances. However, this experience was made much more bearable because of the help given to us by all concerned.
As a family, we had a very positive experience finding a place for dad to call home. We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel important and cared for. The instant rapport with dad helped enormously; along with the friendly, smiley staff. They are helpful in every way. Dad is settling in nicely after only a couple of weeks.
This is a lovely and very friendly care home. I feel content knowing my mum will be happy and well looked after when she visits for respite care. I would thoroughly recommend The Clitheroe Care Home.
I had never visited the home before I came. I was told very clearly what it was like and he was very helpful, the young man that visited me in hospital. The room I am in is very nice, kept clean and one has only to ask the staff for anything and it's seen too. The food is excellent, I have a good appetite. Although I'm 90, I used to cook and enjoy good meat, veg and some of the puddings are lovely.
My father initially moved into this home as a short-term measure, after a spell in hospital. He enjoyed his stay so much, that he decided he would like to move in full time. I have found the staff to be excellent, my father cannot speak too highly of the food, and the manager is a pleasure to deal with. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home to anyone who was thinking of residential care for themselves, or a loved one.
The management and care staff are absolutely wonderful! My mum stayed here for 2 weeks respite in late August. Mum was made to feel extremely welcome and the standard of care was excellent - nothing was too much trouble. Good old fashioned nursing care delivered with compassion. The current management in place are obviously striving to make improvements and it clearly shows - well done to you and your team.
Management and staff are very respectful, kind and caring to my grandma and other residents that I have seen. Residents seem happy and cheerful, the home is clean and the staff are very accommodating to any requests made.
I feel comfortable when I visit the home. Always offered a drink (tea/coffee). The staff are pleasant and helpful and when I take my friend out, the staff are quick to answer the door to welcome us back. The food is good and tasty. The residents always have a smile and a natter with me. If I had to rate Clitheroe Residential Care Home, I would give 10/10.
Would not have recommended this home to anyone whilst under the previous manager. Now it is under new management, the home is coming along. She takes pride in the home and wants to best for the residents. My mum seems a lot happier, the home seems a lot happier as there is more going on and my mum is getting better care.
The home is always a pleasure to visit because the staff are very welcoming, the patients look contented and the home is beautifully decorated. I'd like to thank the staff for making me welcome when I go, and also I think it is a beautiful home for anyone to stay in.
My mother has been a resident of this care home for three years and in that time I have seen many changes taking place. The care home is now under new management and things are improving immensely. Worn items are being renewed/replaced and the home is currently being redecorated. The care my mother receives is excellent. She is well looked after, is always neat and tidy and most importantly she is very happy. I have always found the staff to be helpful and kind and I think this goes a long way in creating a nice atmosphere.
