The staff at Halton View were wonderful with my dad. He was there from April to his death in July and I cannot fault any of the staff there. They were always looking after him and were very considerate to his needs. They were always very friendly to me when I visited dad every day. Towards the end I was there all the time and they fed me, which they didn't have to do and they gave me a bed for me to have a little nap as they could see I was extremely tired. Thank you to all the staff there.
My frail Dad who has dementia was attacked by another resident while in this place. He suffered terrible facial injuries. A week after that incident my dad fell and fractured his pelvis in 2 places. All unwitnessed! CQC, social services and the police are all involved. I would not recommend this home to any family. This place has had three managers in the last 12 months and rates inadequate with the CQC, which it is just deserved.
Mum passed away at the above care home. Her final month was not pleasant but the staff were lovely and caring all the way through. Before this, she had lived at the care home for about 12 months. All the staff said what a remarkable lady she was and were genuinely upset when she passed.
The care given to my auntie was first class. The staff were diligent, hard-working and very professional in all aspects of her care.
Dad went into this care home for respite. He really liked the staff and was treated with a lot of respect and listened to. We were able as a family to come and visit and take Dad out whenever we wished. We find them very polite informative and genuine. We felt as a family we could relax as Dad was happy. He was able to go into the garden whenever he wanted which for Dad was a blessing as he loves being outdoors. Thank you from all of us and a big thank you from Dad.
Settled in quite quickly due to all staff. Staff really helpful and friendly. Staff keep you up to date with what's going on with the resident and any problems, they are on the ball to sort it out. A really friendly home.
My aunt has been in this care home for 18 months and all my dealings with management and staff have been excellent. I am always kept informed and any queries are answered swiftly. They always want to help and the care given to my aunt is excellent.
Visits to the home are always a pleasant experience, staff very friendly. I find the home always warm and very clean.
My mum has lived here for a few years. She has dementia and other problems since she has been here for care and all her needs are looked after very well. This is a lovely home with great staff and good care team. Very friendly and approachable. The staff work hard to make the home happy as possible. Always keeping me informed of any situations my mum is happy living here. Would highly recommend.
Sadly, my husband had to come into care in November 2019. Fortunately I had three months to adjust and assure myself that the standard of care was good before lockdowns. I have always been most grateful for the caring attitude of staff and the dignity with which personal care in managed. Staff are friendly and supportive. Management issues, important though they are, are not my concern. The day to day care for my husband is.
Halton View care home is a lovely place. The staff are so caring and understand my mum's needs really well. She is very content, which brings us peace of mind.
The care my mum receives from everyone is exceptional; they genuinely care and love her. They keep me informed on all aspects of Mum's care and health. I always recommend the home to everyone.
Very happy with this care home, I feel they put residents first at all times.
My gran is very happy here, she's lived here for about 5 years. We are all very happy with her care over this period.
Circumstances make things difficult however mum and dad seem happy and content.
Fabulous staff, caring with such empathy. They are all understanding to their residents and families, and it felt we were part of the family. Manager is brilliant, the carers were funny and always on hand to help. The housekeepers did a wonderful job, and we have a brilliant albeit emotional journey. We can't thank them enough.
All I've got to say is I would recommend this home to anyone, the staff, the carers, the care my mum has had is excellent.
Limited contact so far- 2 visits. First impressions are positive, appears to the clean and well run. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The homes lovely every time I visit.
Since my mum has been here she has made tremendous progress following her stroke, this I feel is due to the special care and attention she is receiving. I cannot fault anything at all the staff are all so caring and my mum is treated with dignity, and considering her health problems following her stroke the care home is always spotlessly clean and we are always made welcome when visiting.
