View Full Details of Hawkhurst Care CentreStaff are all nice, the home is homely, always warm and welcoming.
My wife has been a resident in excess of 5 years. She has an end case of Alzheimer's. Care has always been excellent. My daughter and I are constantly informed of her care needs which are met. The manager and all the carers are approachable and nothing is too much trouble. The home is small, with 22 residents and I am totally satisfied that my wife's care is as good as it can be. Care plans are discussed with us and agreed. It is a dementia home and as such activities have to be limited.
My father has been at Hawkhurst for the past three years and in all that time he has been treated with the utmost care, compassion and dignity. Whenever I visit my father, usually, I just turn up unannounced. I am always given a warm, friendly welcome by the various members of staff. I have always had a really good communication with the staff and I feel they go above and beyond with my father's needs.
The team at Hawkhurst do a fantastic job and a very friendly when I get there to see my mum.
After a 5-week respite stay for my Mum who was mentally not in a good place, she was looked after excellently by a fantastic home. Caring staff and seniors, It's clean and run as a big family of lovely Residents. We are forever grateful as a family for lifting my Mum up and making her feel lots better. I 100 per cent recommend it to anyone, five stars from the family. Thank you.
Very good service with everything done for my husband.
All the staff are friendly and engage with the residents to ensure that they are well cared for and content. Nothing seems too much trouble where the staff are involved and the majority of staff members have been in post for a considerable amount of time. This is always a good sign for both the individuals and more importantly the residents.
My mum went into the care home for nine days of respite care. She made three friends, enjoyed a Halloween party and had her haircut whilst there. She was well looked after, the staff are friendly and caring, and nothing is too much trouble for them. I will definitely use Hawkhurst again for respite care, highly recommended. Big thank you to all staff and residents for making my mum so welcome and happy whilst with you.
My mother relocated to Hawkhurst Care Center in July 2019. I visit Mother in the evening, great standards of care, safeguarding, clean and fresh areas that I have visited. I recently got invited and attended the Christmas Party for residents and family members. Everyone enjoyed a great afternoon of entertainment, not forgetting the buffet, very professionally presented. Thank you to the courteous, helpful managers and care staff at all levels.
My sister has been a resident at Hawkhurst Care Centre for approximately 3 years. During this time she has received excellent care. All the staff are helpful and compassionate I cannot fault them. We have had no complaints whatsoever. I have always sung the praises of this care home and will continue to do so.

More importantly to me, my Mother always has her own clothes on. The staff are fantastic and really care. I have not shed a tear whilst Mum has been in there, unlike the other place she stayed at.

The management and staff have been fantastic with mum since her arrival. Mum has come on in leaps and bounds compared to the other facility she was in. The staff right from management to the carers are lovely but not only with the residents but the relatives too. I couldn't praise them highly enough. So pleased that mum was able to get a place here.
My mum has been a resident for just over 2 years, she is well cared for, and seems as happy as she can be. The staff are always welcoming no matter what time of day you visit. I am glad my mum is settled in this lovely place.
My mum has been in Hawkhurst for just over two years now, with Alzheimers. Although the disease is a horrible disease to watch your loved one go through, Hawkhurst has made it more bearable. I honestly don't think I could have got through it without their help and support. My mum always seems happy and content and especially well looked after. Hawkhurst and their staff provide me with peace of mind knowing my mum is safe and happy.
Mum has been here for 2 years and she is so well looked after. The home is just like a normal way of life and is always warm and welcoming at any time of day. We feel lucky that she is here as all the staff are caring and considerate under the circumstances.
My mother has been in this care home for a number of years and has excellent care throughout, staff are very approachable and the care for residents in excellent. We are always made welcome when visiting.
The improvement my mum has made since becoming a resident in Hawkhurst Care Centre is amazing. It is down to the wonderful staff and how hard they work to ensure my mum has dignity as well as the care she needs. They have a fantastic relationship with my family which provides extra needed support. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Also, any issues are dealt with quickly and professionally. This is a great home and I wouldn't want mum anywhere else!
The home is lovely with brilliant staff and management. The only negative I could possibly say is that the residents don't really get outside in the gardens for a walk and I know my mum would love this. She always says she misses her garden. I think a little flower bed or vegetable patch would be very therapeutic for them.
