My Dad has lived here for last last 4 years. Sadly his health declined a couple of weeks back and he was discharged back to Blossom Lodge for end-of-life care. The care he has recieved these last 2 weeks has been exceptional. He has been treated with dignity and respect and kept comfortable. The staff genuinely care and more than one carer has shed a tear with me this week and been there not only for Dad but the family as a whole. It's the small things that make a big difference. One carer gave him her own bottle of flavoured water to do his mouthcare so he could taste something nice. To say he hadn't taken anything orally for 3 weeks his mouth was moist and in great condition so clearly oral care was done regularly and properly. The lights were turned low and gentle background music played, fans provided and regular check-ins by staff created a peaceful, comfortable environment for his last days. Thank you everyone, your kindness will forever be remembered.

We find this care home very warm and welcoming, they take great care of all his needs. The staff could not be better. Again, for all things related to him, I would recommend this home to anybody. P.S. Not only are the staff good with the patients they are also good with the families.

I have been in Cherry Trees Care Home for seven weeks and I praise all the carers and nurses and cleaners and laundry, nothing is too much for them. I was made welcome the first day I came in. I can't thank them enough. Thank you Cherry Trees, you are all amazing.

My wife has now been in Cherry Trees for 21 months, and we are both totally happy and settled and couldn't wish for a better care home. I look forward to visiting my wife because all the staff are so friendly and put you at ease, always have time for you. My wife has been settled since the start, and the improvement in her is all down to the care she receives. All the staff go over and above in their treatment and friendliness. Thank you to everyone.

I would just like to thank every member of staff at Cherry Trees for their care, compassion and dignity shown to my Dad at all times during his short stay there. Nothing was too much trouble, Dad was always in clean clothes and clean bedding and I appreciate this was not always easy due to his illness. Every member of staff was always kind and pleasant, he was never left alone when it mattered and I will always be forever grateful to Senior Nurse for being with us at the very end, you made a heartbreaking moment in time a little more bearable, I felt reassured by you being there. A safe, compassionate, caring and dignified place for any loved one to be. Thank you all again.

Lovely room and decor. The staff are very pleasant and informative regarding Nanna's care. Always welcome when coming through the front door. Manage always approachable and welcoming. Staff are always available when needing any assistance. Really pleased with Nanna's care. The local GP is really nice - I was here during a routine visit.

Our relative has only been here a short time, but she seems settled and happy. Always clean and well looked after. She says the food is nice. No concerns.

I am completely satisfied with this home. The staff are caring and considerate towards my wife. They treat her with dignity and always do their best to help her. They are very good at supporting the relatives of the residents too.

My husband has been here for two weeks and seems to have settled in. He was in hospital for three weeks before and didn't like it. Staff are very friendly and always ready to help. The food is mashed easy for him to eat. The home is clean and all the staff welcome visitors. My husband seems happy and content here. Well looked after and that is the main thing.

My Mum has settled in here really well, mainly due to the fact that every single member of staff have been so kind. Treating her with dignity and compassion. They are always so pleasant and friendly towards all of our family at a difficult time.

My dad was dropped without much warning on the care home by our local hospital, with little or no advice from them, but the staff made sure he was in a large corner room with en suite, TV and a comfy armchair. Dad was difficult to work with at the time, but they did all they could to make him comfortable and my mum's visits welcoming. The management were helpful and worked with us and adult service to fill the void left by the hospital's mismanagement for the three weeks he was there, meaning that when Dad eventually came home, he was more settled than he had been for weeks.

My mum's care while she's recovering from her operation has been 100%. All staff have been marvellous with her.

When I was told I was being sent to a care home I was horrified. Five days into my stay at Cherry Trees Care Home, I have had a complete change of heart. If all care homes are like Cherry Trees it would be superb. It is very well run and the staff are brilliant.

Very welcoming staff, approachable and friendly. All very astute in their dealings and very accommodating when needed. Compassionate in manner, respectful of individuality towards care. Provide a safe, secure environment with the needs of residents paramount. An excellent surrogate 'home', giving friends and relatives some comfort in difficult times.

My mum has been staying at Cherry Trees Care Home for the last few weeks for rehabilitation after two surgeries on her leg. I am very grateful for the good care that she has received. The staff have all been kind, courteous and friendly. The staff have all been kind, courteous and friendly. The open visiting has been very convenient for family and friends to pop in to see her and being able to bring the dog to visit is nice. She was very pleased to have a TV in her room and she's enjoyed the entertainment - singers, bingo and Peggy the therapy dog visiting. Having her hair done by the hairdresser cheered her up as well.
