View Full Details of Amphion ViewQuite simply I can not express enough how grateful the family is for the exemplary level of care, compassion and love shown to my Mum in care at Amphion View for a year up to her sad passing. All the staff were outstanding in handling every challenging situation including the painful, tormenting end-of-life procedure, with dignity and compassion. Can not recommend Amphion View highly enough. I am not one for leaving reviews but wanted to on this occasion as I fully understand how difficult it is to find the right home, we were unable due to covid restraints to visit homes but I'm so relieved she was placed here. Thank you sincerely.
Mum was cared for extremely well during her whole stay of 1 year, and exceptionally well through her sad death. The staff should be applauded for their sincere endeavours on a daily basis, especially faced with the constraints and worries of covid. We feel lucky that Mum was in a place of love, kindness, respect, and devotion. It's very upsetting accepting your loved one's decline. It's eased enormously when you see true care.
Too hot. Seem to be caring carers. Mum always looks well dressed and cared for but often says bored.
My mum has recently been transferred here from another nursing home in Doncaster. What can I say? She is a totally different person! She is like the woman she used to be. From what we have seen she is well cared for by lovely staff who go above and beyond for those in their care. The home has a lovely 'warm' feel to it and I can see my mum is much happier and content. I would highly recommend Amphion View to those wanting excellent care for their loved ones.
Happy with the care she gets. She's safe and warm and has regular meals and is well looked after.
I have nothing but praise for the home, staff, and management of the home. My Mum is well cared for and that gives me peace of mind knowing she is safe.
Feel very much at home with the warm and friendly welcome and they take excellent care of my mum.
All the staff seem really caring people. My brother is always clean and smartly dressed and seems really happy. He enjoys his food very much and eats everything he is given. The house is always lovely and warm and welcoming. The staff always say hello when I go and seem really kind and caring to the residents.
My mother-in-law was in the home from December 2014 until her death in January 2020. In all of that time she was treated as a member of the family and we were safe in the knowledge that she was in the best place relating to her illness and impairment. All the team were excellent, very approachable and the management were exceptional and our friends. Excellent!
Mum was looked after by the staff very well in the last few months of her life. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive to all the residents. I fully recommend Amphion View.

The staff are fantastic at this home. Nothing is too much trouble. All staff very friendly, helpful and professional. My father was in the home for 6 months prior to his death. The care, compassion and overall everything was fabulous. The atmosphere is one of warmth and family. After my father's passing, my aunt moved into Amphion View and again the care and compassion shown was outstanding. She recently passed too. I have a lot of respect for everyone at Amphion View.
All staff at the care home were very caring towards mum during her lengthy stay, they interacted really well with her, and formed a nice supportive relationship with mum. Whenever I visited, the staff were always extremely helpful, and regardless of the demanding role they have, there was always room for an approachable smile. During the last few days before mum passed away, the staff and management were little short of fantastic, very professional and caring. Nothing was too much trouble, they really did make things a little easier for the family at a difficult time.
My auntie was a resident in this care home for just over a year. We were able to take a few furniture items and pictures to hang on the walls which really helped her settle in. The staff and management were very good, nothing was too much trouble. The communication from the staff with any information that we needed to know was excellent. This gave us a lot of confidence in the care home. Being able to visit at any time was a big help. Thank you to all the staff of Amphion View Care Home for caring for our auntie.
Thanks to all the care team at Amphion View for their care and kindness. They made my father's stay as comfortable and settling as possible.
Amphion View provided excellent care for my uncle over 18 months. The care and attention to detail were outstanding, showing respect throughout. The comforting touches, respect and dignity and caring words and thought shown throughout this time there were second to none. My uncle was placed on end of care and passed away in the home. The communication with me was excellent and he was in great hands at this very difficult time. Thank you.
My wife has been a resident in Amphion View for about 3 and a half years now and I've seen the different levels of support she has received as her condition has deteriorated. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I can't thank them enough for the care they give to my wife. I visit most days and am always made to feel welcome which is a great comfort.
My mother was at this care home for approx 21/2 years. She received first class care even though she was a difficult resident and could sometimes be aggressive and stubborn. I have always witnessed the staff deal with residents in a dignified and respectful manner providing 1st class care for my mother right to the end.
