View Full Details of Grange CourtMy dad was in Grange Court for just over 2 months until he passed away I can not praise the staff enough for their warmth, standard of professionalism and care. They also were lovely to me in those difficult final days. The level of care was very high.
Excellent care at Grange Court. The home is exceptionally clean and the residents all very well cared for by the friendly staff. The home is well staffed and there is always someone on hand to discuss any concerns. Nothing is too much trouble. My mother is double incontinent and her changing needs are dealt with, an exemplary service. I have no stress or worries about her care, we get regular updates on entertainment and activities going on during the week! I couldn't have wished for more.
Mum was cared for at Grange Court for over two and a half years. During that time the care she received was sensitive to her needs and always kind and considerate. I always found the staff to be welcoming and ready to offer information about mum striving to give the best care possible. Nothing was too much trouble and mum's changing needs were regularly discussed and adaptations made to her environment. The manager was always available and willing to help in any way. I was initially upset when mum's dementia progressed and she required a nursing care environment but the staff and owners ensured that there was a smooth and supported transition. I couldn't have asked for more. It's a distressing time when you need to ask for your parent to be looked after in care and something I never believed I would have to do but Grange Court alleviated those feelings and looked after mum and her family in every way. Thank you I couldn't have asked for more.
Excellent friendly staff who always greet residents and visitors by their name. I am able to discuss concerns and the management report back after my visits. My mother would prefer showers more, but often only gets a bath once a week. To have more opportunity to move about and be occupied would be good. As most residents have dementia and routine is necessary, some people would prefer an allocated chair but with the opportunity to move about sometimes and encouragement to interact more.
