Twice we have used Trinity Fold to provide respite care for my father after stays in hospital. The staff have always made my father feel welcome and well cared for with dignity, and have shown flexibility when dealing with special needs. Accommodation has always been clean and well-maintained.
Overall we found the care to be excellent. Our mother has been there for 8 months and the more you begin to see behind the scene, the more you begin to realise how well the residents are checked and looked after. This cannot be an easy task, but they have lots of systems in place to monitor their well-being. They even sent a person with her when she was taken to hospital. I would agree with a previous comment about name badges. As we visited regularly and knew many of the staff's faces, it would be really helpful if the staff wore their name badges. It is so much more friendly to be able to use a name. Sadly our memories are not as good as they were, and it feels bad as a visitor to keep asking for a name! As visitors, we were always made to feel very welcome. Thank you to all the staff for looking after our mother, she was not always an easy person to deal with.
Was made welcome and wanted at all times from start of stay to finish. Excellent staff throughout. Keep up the good work.
Friendly and helpful staff dealing with vulnerable adults often in challenging circumstances. Would recommend the facility to families who want reassurance that their loved ones will be well looked after.
Overall a good, friendly caring home. The staff are attentive and kind. Sometimes it's difficult to acknowledge staff for their caring as not all wear name badges. Just with their first names would help. When managers are not on shift, difficult to know who's taking the lead when 2 to 3 team leaders are on duty. A board with a name would help with communication.
The manager and staff are really good and make time to discuss anything with you. I couldn't wish for a nicer care home.
Right from the first registering interest on the website to moving Dad in, the experience and care has been made easy by the management and staff at this care home. I can't give them enough praise. It's not the easiest decision moving a parent into care but Trinity have gone above and beyond to make the process as painless and uncomfortable as I felt. I would definitely recommend anyone to consider the home for their loved ones.
My wife was a resident in Trinity Fold for nearly three years and her treatment there was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She suffered from vascular dementia and pulmonary problems and was subject to panic attacks. They gave her access to the resident's lounge which she found most beneficial. She was prone to infections and made quite a few visits to the hospital but always bounced back fairly quickly. The last year of her life (died on 18/03/2024) was only achieved due to her absolute bravery and determination.
The team at Trinity Fold have provided the safe and caring environment we had hoped for, for our dad who has dementia. The staff are some of the nicest I have come across, going the extra mile to keep the residents safe, happy and entertained, with daily activities and lovely food.
Trinity Fold offers a good standard of care overall with friendly staff. The residents are well cared for and the home is well maintained. They seem to offer regular fun activities and try to involve as many of the residents as they can.
The staff are incredibly caring, my father regards Trinity Fold as home, which often is difficult when they have had their own homes for so long. I can't fault the attention that my dad receives especially at a stage in life when normal activities become more difficult.
Excellent care, positive attitude and seem well staffed. Liaise with family when necessary and always seem on the ball if you ask any questions. My mother has been there for over two years and she does see it as home.
Our Mother went into Trinity Fold over a year ago now. We looked long and hard for a home that could deal with Mum's dementia and other health issues. It took us as a family of three daughters time to get used to our mother being in a care home, however, the level of care and the friendliness and professionalism of all staff has been fantastic. The management and care staff always listen to our queries and consult with us at all stages when there is an issue regarding Mum's care. We would have no qualms recommending to anyone needing care for a relative.
My father went into Trinity Fold 16 months ago, in that time he has been looked after by the helpful and caring staff, who all work tirelessly to care for a wide range of people. We were worried about where to go when looking for care for our father. Trinity Fold had been recommended by a friend and we have been really happy with Dad’s care.
Dad has only been there just over one month but so far we are very pleased with the home and its staff. He has settled really well and made some nice friends. We would highly recommend Trinity Fold for its care and support.
Mum went into Trinity Fold as a short-stay resident from the hospital and within a week she settled. Her health improved and as she said 'I feel safe and settled here'. Thankfully she is now a permanent resident. The staff are all so lovely, kind and respectful to Mum and me. All my friends and family have commented on what a lovely home it is.
Mum has settled in, she has a lovely room and is being cared for. The staff are amazing and caring and have a good sense of humour. The meals are very good and Mum is eating much better, the family agree that it is a good place for Mum to be.
I would highly recommend Trinity Fold. Mum was a resident from August 2021 until she died in February 2023. The quality of care that she received throughout her time at Trinity Fold was amazing. Mum had Alzheimer's and also physical needs, but she was treated with outstanding care and dignity by all staff. From our first meeting, we were impressed with the manager who said 'If it were my Mum or Dad then I would want ...'. That attitude ran throughout the home in the compassionate attitude and loving approach. Dad visited Mum most days. The staff looked after him too, giving him a hug when needed, a cup of tea or a listening ear. Mum was on end-of-life care for four days and I will never forget the way this was done by the wonderful staff. They treated Mum with dignity and love and ensured that she was always as comfortable as possible. They also supported us throughout this time. Trinity Fold is a clean, well-decorated and furnished care home with a fantastic level of care.
We were very pleased with the care home upon our first visit, far better than expected, I was quite impressed overall. Friendly and caring staff, you could not wish for better, the home itself is very modern and clean and a convenient location. It's somewhere you would wish to be cared for if you ever needed it yourself. It would be my choice.
Dad has lived at Trinity Fold since December 2021. He has settled in really well and the staff have been marvellous with him. He has a lovely room at the back, overlooking trees and he often sits in the small garden area to the front with other residents. Dad loves the food and there are regular activities such as baking, bingo and dominoes and also group visits to local venues for afternoon tea or music. The staff are very caring and supportive to both Dad and myself and are very helpful and go the extra mile. The home feels like a happy place and I know that Dad is safe and well cared for and I would not hesitate to recommend Trinity Fold.
