My Dad is in Aden View Care Home and we as a family cannot praise them enough. All the staff and the manager, are lovely and treat him with respect. We feel confident he is safe and looked after. We would highly recommend Aden View.
I am a registered nurse with 38 years experience and when I entered the home on 15/12/2024 I found it to be very clean and did not smell of urine which many I've been in have done. The carers were doing numerous jobs with it being an open day but they helped on the stalls, they were helping the residents visit the stalls and making choices and talking to them. I was very impressed with how the care team multitasked but still had plenty of time to help visitors and clientele. Well done to all the staff and management for their work. I just wish I wasn't retired because I would be applying for a job.
My dad recently passed away. The staff showed care and kindness to both my dad and myself during this difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble and kept me informed every step of the way. A huge thank you to everyone.
From me walking in, the staff are always so pleasant to me. Going to find my auntie, whether she is the day room or her bedroom, there is always something going on from arts and crafts to dancing, to a band which came in or just music on the radio. No one is left out everyone gets to join in. There is a hairdresser that goes every week plus a pamper day for both the ladies and men. So all in all the people in the care home are very well looked after. Thanks to the lovely staff.
The staff and management are very good. The welfare of residents by staff is very good. Nothing too much trouble from all the staff and management.
Dad was on emergency admission and settled immediately. All staff so caring and thoughtful. Very happy with Aden View.
My wife of 63 years was admitted to Aden View in April of this year. Prior to her moving, my family and I were impressed with the care and attention given to us and my wife, so that the move was stress-free as possible. Since then, I continue to admire the way she is looked after in a warm, caring and efficient manner, where her needs, mental and physical are being met by all the staff and where she is treated and valued as an individual.
The staff and care home have been a godsend to our sanity in the care of my Mother-in-law. The staff have brought her back to how she was last year mostly bright and interested in her surroundings. She has got a new lease of life. Thank you.
Always made really welcome by all the staff. Very clean and homely place. Residents always seem happy on our visits.
The management at the home always makes me feel welcome. They are really nice to me. Also, the staff are really good. My wife is always clean and tidy. The rooms are always very clean. It's a really nice home. Thank you all at Aden View Care Home.
The manager's visit to the resident's own home, she was very professional and I knew the way she talked and explained things she was excellent at her job. When we visited the home, the "family was here from Cyprus". As they and I entered the home, the vibe was good, everybody was friendly, kitchen staff said they would cater to her likes into the daily routine. She settled well, they have now got to know her and they are trying to sort out things for her to make life and health better.
The entire staff at Aden View care home were so helpful with my mother and always kept us informed with her. The manager's office was always open for anything we needed and just for a chat. I cannot say any bad words about any of the staff as they were always nice to us and my mum and she could be a little demanding at times. Thanks again, and I would recommend Aden View to anyone looking for care.
Since my mum has moved into Aden View Care Home, she has been treated with dignity and a great deal of care and compassion. I have no doubt that my mum is in the best place for her health and well-being. They manage the balance between safety and family visits perfectly. We are always welcome to spend quality time with Mum, especially with the activities which keep Mum stimulated and bring social activities to life. They are the best!
Mum only spent a few months at Aden View, but in my opinion, the care she received was absolutely outstanding from a team of cheerful, dedicated and highly professional staff. They were unfailingly welcoming and treated everyone, not just Mum, with dignity and empathy - I loved watching the staff go around talking to residents, showing them personal attention at all times. I'd say there is real love in this care home - I saw it expressed many times, and can't thank them enough for making Mum as safe and comfortable as possible in her final months.
A very kind and compassionate home for your loved ones. Mum is so well looked after by the very friendly and thoughtful staff. Mum is sadly not mobile and the staff are so considerate towards her needs and are very attentive. The home is clean, safe, well managed and a lovely environment where you are always welcome on your visits.
Aden View Care Home was amazing with both my mum and dad. My dad moved here around 2014, we were able to decorate his home to his taste, which was a nice touch. He lived there till he had to move to nursing which was a shame as he loved it and it was like home from home. Then my mum came to stay on respite but sadly she was not safe enough to come home. She was there till this year. Nothing was any trouble for the manager and her team. With Covid, it was hard but listening to the manager's stories of my mum and how she kept them on their toes.
I have been consistently impressed with the management and staff at Aden View Care Home. They are always cheerful, helpful, welcoming and friendly. They take excellent care of my mother who has Alzheimers, showing her affection, humour and patience and this is borne out by the fact that my mother is extremely fond of the staff - hugging them and telling us how much she loves them. There always seems to be activities happening at Aden View Care Home - face painting, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, shopping trips - and my mother is very involved which is great for her as she loves doing things. I am very confident that my Mum is in the best place given her needs.
Mum was placed in Aden View Care Home 12 months ago, suffering with advanced dementia. She is now settled and calm and is being well looked after by an exceptional set of friendly, competent staff who fully deserve 5 stars. I would have no hesitation in recommending Aden View Care Home. Other people I know have said much the same when I've mentioned Mum was at Aden View Care Home, including two who work in the health and care sector.
I was in desperate need of moving Dad to a care home nearer to me and my family. As if covid was bad enough to keep me away from him, I was going out of my mind with worry as I could only get to see him once a week and he wasn't the best. So finally, I got him into Aden View and couldn't be happier, and I see the difference in my dad already and it's only been three weeks. The managers could not be more welcoming and helpful for what they have done for my dad and me already. I can not praise them enough and I know they are only doing their everyday job but it's the care and compassion that they have for the care home and made it like their big extended family. You feel welcomed as soon as you step into the building, all the carers as well, nothing is too much trouble. No wonder the rating is so good, keep up the good work guys.
