View Full Details of Paisley Lodge Care HomeI have always found the staff at Paisley Lodge to be kind and caring towards my brother and other residents in the home. Always working with a smile on their face. The home is clean at all times and I feel reassured by this, in the continuing support and care.
I am very pleased with the care that my husband has been receiving since he was admitted to Paisley Lodge just before Christmas 2022. I usually visit my husband after lunch and stay till about 6:30 pm. However, I have recently become very concerned that when I leave he is not being monitored enough as he seems to be able to damage things in his room eg, his wardrobe door, the joining strip to the bathroom and recently the joining strip of the doorway into his room.
We came to Paisley Lodge in January 2023 with our mum. We were in a bad place, upset and worried, desperately needing help for our mum. It's amazing to see the quality of life they have given back to our mum and us too her family. The staff here are fantastic and genuinely care for all the residents. Many thanks.
My nana moved into the home back in March after not coping at home and having a bad time in the hospital. Since she has been at Paisley Lodge she appears to be more settled and happy within herself, every week's visit we are welcomed by all the hard-working staff. My nana is not the easiest person in all fairness however the care she receives at the home is amazing my grandad and myself can’t thank them enough for looking after her the way they do. I would love to see her join activities however we do understand that she may not want to join in as long as she’s happy and well where all happy.
Really enjoyed myself at Paisley Lodge today. They had a Valentine's afternoon. They provided cakes and biscuits all homemade and they were delicious. Very good cooks and chefs there.
Seriously poorly patients are treated with sympathetic expertise and kindness. Excellent facilities within the premises. Overall a clean and tidy place all with excellent staff and carers etc.
Some missed communication between staff and management especially at weekends.
Well maintained grounds and plenty of parking. Good security on entrance and also Covid rules apply, track and trace and testing, etc. The care home is clean and tidy. Staff all appear to be enthusiastic with residents and visitors. The bedroom of my friend is a little sparse but items brought from home could make that better. She tells me the food is excellent and is never hungry. And my friend is a good cook so that says a lot. The staff and management are approachable and don’t try to keep anything from visitors if appropriate. All in all, a decent place to be if needed.
Ever since my mum became a resident at Paisley Lodge, I've felt really confident that she was getting the best care available. All the staff are so caring, friendly and helpful. It's so comforting to know my mum is so well cared for.
My dad came into the home in November 2019 with dementia. This was really hard for the family but the staff were very good. Then we noticed every time we went to visit we were being told staff were leaving. We were concerned about this as my dad was still trying to adjust to moving in. We tried to raise this with the manager but she was hardly ever available. Covid then came which was so hard on the family as we could not see dad. Then the acting manager arrived and what a breath of fresh air, the staff and residents seemed so much happier and she even knew my dad's name when I first phoned to see how he was. She keeps in contact with us letting us Facetime him whenever we want to. Also, the Facebook page is always kept up to date with photos of the residents which is so lovely to see them happy. The home is a completely different place. It's all thanks to the new manager and the staff.
Although it has been a difficult 9 months since Dad went into the home and the restrictions that the Covid Pandemic has caused, the care that dad receives is amazing. The staff are just brilliant; very caring and supportive to both dad and us as a family. We recently were able to go into the home to see dad be it only mum and I watched from the booth, but Dad looked great - thanks to his carers, it was a great visit and staff were very supportive to us on the day. They are absolute angels and Dad is very content at the home which is a blessing for the family. Thanks to all the team at the home - you do a fabulous job.
The care given to my uncle has been most welcome and refreshing to see. The staff are happy and try to pass on their joie de vivre onto the residents. The entertainment is excellent with everyone getting involved. I fully recommend Paisley Lodge Care Home.
The staff are excellent. Thank goodness there's still people that work here that are caring people.
Very good staff, very clean rooms.
I and my family would recommend this care home as they look after their residents and teat them with respect they deserve. They are brilliant with visitors as well.
The staff here are amazing with my father. Always have time for his visitors too. Answer any questions asked and always keep us informed on his health. Can't praise them enough.
It is very daunting when you have to move your parent into a care home and a very difficult decision, but from the minute I entered Paisley Lodge the love that is within the home covers everything. The staff are really caring and you feel safe that they are being really well looked after.
Mum is well cared for, from keeping her clean to everyday support. The staff are brilliant and go beyond what they are responsible for. They always try to keep the residents smiling even when they are restless. They are always trying to implement new ideas and activities. The food is lovely (I've tried it). Communication from the staff is very good if I need to be informed about anything.
Friendly staff, residents well looked after.
Good all round care for my mum. It could be better but generally no complaints.
