View Full Details of Cedar GrangeI highly recommend cedar grange as the staff are really understanding. They go the extra mile to make the residents feel safe and cared for. Also very welcoming and clean. Any issue is addressed straight away.
I attend the home at least twice a week and found the staff very friendly and approachable. The care mother has is excellent. If anything is wrong with her the medical personnel is called straight away.
My grandmother moved into Cedar Grange in November after a couple of spells in hospital. In that time, I have had nothing but positive experiences with them and the care they provide. The place is always warm, clean and tidy. The staff are exceptionally friendly to both the residents and visiting relatives, and it is clear that they care deeply about their work and the people they look after. The managers are always approachable, friendly and helpful and are constantly looking for ways to aid residents' care and well-being. There's also a high level of communication between the home and relatives which we really appreciate. Security is good with keypad locks on outside doors and one to the kitchen. All in all, I have no complaints about Cedar Grange whatsoever and would recommend it to anyone who wants somewhere for their relative to be safe, happy and well cared for.
My Dad has been to Cedar Grange for respite in the past and has recently become a full-time resident due to his dementia. He lived at home with my mum and had very poor mobility and no interest in anything other than sleeping. Without fail, within two weeks of being in Cedar Grange, I saw a massive improvement in his physical and mental health. He is well-fed, interacts with staff and other residents, and now chats happily when we visit. The staff and management are fabulous, kind, and caring and nothing is too much trouble. They genuinely care about the residents, one old lady had urinated and a staff member stood in front of her to shield her and protect her dignity until she could take her to change. I am so grateful to have Dad safe with such lovely people. It was a massively hard decision to make but the way he has improved makes it so much easier for both my mum and I.
My mother has been a resident at the home for 5 months now and I'm extremely pleased with how well she has settled. The management changes are continuing to improve all aspects of the home, especially with the current stand-in Manager, whom I have excellent communication with. I can see that the quality of staff (some have been there quite a number of years) and good teamwork is a priority. The staff clearly care about their residents and I have peace of mind that my mother’s needs are recognised and catered for as best they can be. I would strongly recommend the home to anyone.
My mother is well looked after in this care home and the staff are second to none. She is happy and talks highly of the staff. The change in management is noticeable and the stand-in manager is very efficient and no request is too much for her to handle. I would like on behalf of all our family to thank the staff at Cedar Grange for the excellent care that they give to my mother.
I was very happy with the service received from the home whilst they looked after my mother in her last year, she was very happy whilst in residence there. I was also impressed with all the staff who were extremely helpful and friendly on every occasion I had cause to speak with them.
I am always very glad to see how my brother is looked after so well. He is happy at Cedar Grange as far I can talk. I am a visitor here, my brother's sister, therefore not responsible for the payments and am not familiar with all aspect of what the home has to offer e.g.; activities.
My father is a resident at the home and I'm really happy with the care he receives. The recent change to the homes management has drastically improved all aspects of the home. Overall, the staff and management are first-class, and I would strongly recommend the home to anyone.
Cedar Grange is a lovely old house set in gardens and mature trees. Songbirds can be heard singing every morning while my husband is still in bed. The atmosphere in the home is so relaxed and friendly. The carers are a mix of ages male and female and all are exceptionally good at their jobs. Nothing is ever overlooked every need is taken care of in the most gentle and respectful way. Mealtimes are special it’s a priority of the manager that all the residents enjoy their food. He has made sure that the food is good quality and really tasty. Ensuring that it’s eaten and very much enjoyed.
My Father is a resident at the home and is very content and happy with his lot at the home he’s had some health issues but the staff are excellent and very supportive and due to the care and support from everyone he is now looking much healthier. Amazingly he is putting a bit of weight on as he is enjoying his food, which is due to the quality and variety provided by the new staff and management. I would like to thank all the staff and especially the management for making a huge difference to Dad’s health and welfare.
My dad has been living at Cedar Grange for over a year now and has settled in extremely well. He has just been moved to a bigger bedroom which has a great view over the garden and has been decorated to a high standard which was really nice of the home manager to organise. I always get a warm welcome from the staff, they are very friendly and polite. The care my dad receives is great and he enjoys the home cooking the kitchen provides, the mini jam and cream scones looked amazing! Thank you to the staff and management for all you do.
My grandad has been at Cedar Grange Care Home for over a year now and has settled in nicely with the help of their lovely staff. The home is set in beautiful, wooded gardens. There is always a warm welcome awaiting you from the staff and management team when you arrive and nothing is too much trouble. My grandad loves the food and variety offered, there is a new activities coordinator who has just joined the team.
I was really pleased after visiting my mam in Cedar Grange as she has just been placed there, I was worried that she would not settle as my mam is quite a shy person, but after my visit, I felt confident that my mam was well cared for, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff have done an amazing job, and my mam seems happy, which gives me peace of mind.
My sister is very happy and always says how good the food is. She enjoys banter with others, and I feel she is very well cared for and safe. She looks well-groomed and comfortable and enjoys having her hair done regularly at the home.
The staff have a wonderful ethos of compassion and professionalism. The residents look cared for, are treated with dignity and every effort is made to personalised care. During the lockdown, they have patients and consideration. I cannot praise them too highly! Plus the quality of the food (especially the scones) is excellent.
Excellent staff, caring and well informed to requirements to my sister-in-law, she is very happy at Cedar Grange.
I cannot express how happy I am that I made the find of the Cedar Grange. My mum has settled into life at Cedar Grange and sees it as home after been in for six weeks, every member of staff from management down to housekeeping and the handyman show my mum the utmost respect and are all so very friendly. I feel truly blessed that my mum has a place in such a family-oriented care home. I am always telling everybody how wonderful life is at Cedar Granger. Thank you to all.
The home takes really good care of my mum, she is 101, so they take extra time with her. She has been here 6-years and is very happy and well. She is always very clean and well kept, her hair combed.
Happy, well looked after. Helpful staff support.
