Since my dad recently moved into Windsor Court, the level of care received has been outstanding. The staff have been unfailingly caring, kind, friendly and compassionate. They have made not only Dad but also us as his family feel very welcome. The condition and cleanliness of the rooms on his unit have been excellent. The tasty and plentiful food has restored Dad's appetite! The Sandringham unit is wonderful in all respects.
When we come to see our friend the entrance smells lovely. A pleasure to walk in.
The care for my mum has been excellent. The support and dignity of the staff on Sandringham Unit for Mum, me and family. Look after these very special people who go above and beyond. They have become very special to me.
Our experience of Windsor Court Care Home has been overwhelmingly good. Every single member of staff always has a smile for visitors and so their utmost to help in every way they can. Nothing is too much trouble and the love and care they provide for my mum was consistently excellent. We can't thank you enough for the way you have helped Mum in the final stage of her life. You helped her keep her dignity throughout. An excellent care home!
My brother arrived at Windsor Court Care Home after spending time in hospital and a previous care home in Hull where his needs had not been met. Since moving to Windsor Court he has improved significantly. The staff have been friendly and caring and have done all they can to meet his quite complex needs. He is now much happier and more settled and is hoping his mobility will improve so that he can participate in the home's activities.
My mother went into full time care at Windsor Court Goole in October 2023 which was a difficult decision for us to make. From day 1 I can say the level of care has been excellent. There have been 1 or 2 occasions when there have been a few hiccups, but the staff were great and sorted the problem straight away. There is always something going on for the residents to do. The accommodation is very good and mam has everything in her room that she needs. She gets 3 square meals a day and plenty of drinks. If there was a medical issue with mam the staff sorted it straight away and kept us informed of what was going on and administered any medication (prescribed by a doctor) if needed. Mam also has a stoma bag fitted which she has problems putting on by herself and the staff are great at sorting this out for her.
Well looked after. Staff very good but stretched to their limit.
Brilliant.
The home is very friendly and clean. The staff go above and beyond. They care for Mum really well and I don't feel bad when leaving to go home. The care they gave Dad last year when he was dying was wonderful. Mum has come on in leaps and bounds since being in Windsor Court. We as a family can't thank you enough.
Happy with Dad's care, all staff are very helpful.
Care of my husband with Parkinsons and dementia is very understanding and caring. Very considerate of my husband and I as difficult for me to see him, so disabled.
Unusually, both my parents went to stay at Windsor Court, within a couple of weeks of each other. Throughout their stay, they were both treated with amazing care and tolerance as both individuals and a couple. We couldn't have asked for better care than that administered.
A fantastic team, from the senior nurses to the carers and the maintenance guys, everyone was so friendly and welcoming to our mum and our whole family. It was the hospital that found a nursing bed that Mum needed and we couldn't have found her a more perfect place if we had to do it all ourselves, we were so lucky. We can't thank you all enough for the care you all gave our mum in her last few months.
My mum went into Windsor Court as a resident in May 2022 and what an amazing care home it is, all my mum's needs are catered for. The staff go above and beyond to make sure all the residents are well looked after. It makes things so much easier for me knowing I don't have to worry about Mum's well-being, she's well looked after and loves the staff. Thank you.
My mother, suffering from advanced dementia, spent the last four and a half years of her life at Windsor Court, in a wheelchair. She died recently aged 98. During that time - despite her frustration and often emotional state - she received the loving care she so desperately needed. She had previously been in a much "smarter" [and more expensive] care home where she was very unhappy, due, I think, to constant changes of staff. Most of the carers at Windsor Court when she passed away were the same ones who greeted her four and a half years earlier - that's the fundamental difference. I spent the last 50 hours of my mother's life in her room and the staff couldn't have been more helpful - even through the night the coffee never stopped. It gave me a chance to see first-hand the wonderful, caring job they all do despite being so tested by situations that arise and have to be dealt with. Thank you to all the staff at Windsor Court from all our family.
My dad was a resident in Windsor Court for three years before he passed away earlier this year and was always happy and well looked after. He frequently had kidney infections when in his last home, but had none during his time at Windsor Court.
When staff put a catheter leg bag on upside down and leave the drain tap open there is something wrong with the training. I was told it was a mistake. The staff made derogatory remarks about me on their phone after forgetting to switch their phone off.
My dad moved into Windsor Court Care Home 6 weeks ago I was pleased with how modern light and colourful it was on first viewing. My dad’s room is a good size with an en suite sink and toilet. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and seem to do their best to make the residents feel comfortable and at home. The manager's door is always open and is always happy to answer any questions I have needed to ask, as are all the staff. My dad settled in well he has a moan now and again but then we all do!
It is not an easy job doing the work the staff are involved in. It often needs constant care, attention and dedication. I recently attended the Queens Jubilee party held at the home, and all the staff did a great job providing a super afternoon. A special thank you goes out to all the staff who gave up their own time, working what would have been their day off to help with this event. I think that the kitchen/catering team also need a special mention for the effort and creativity of the buffet they provided at tea time.
