My mother-in-law is a resident with St Clare House and she absolutely loves being there. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere and is very much a home-from-home. The staff are all very friendly and the support and care they give to her is always fantastic. The home is clean and comfortable and you are always greeted with a smile.

My mother is a resident at St Clare’s, and she loves it. We have found everyone is very friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Everyone is very approachable and has answered any questions we have had, which has made us feel very confident about Mam being there. There is plenty of activities to keep the residents stimulated. Well done to all the staff and management. I would thoroughly recommend this care home to anyone.

My husband went to St Clare's for respite until I recovered from an operation. The care he received was outstanding. The management and staff were so dedicated and helpful, answering any questions I had regarding his care. The patience they showed towards him was the best I could have hoped for. Well done and thank you all so much.

I cannot recommend this home enough. The manager is fantastic, and all the care staff are second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them, and they look after my mum so well, although Mum keeps saying she wants to go home, this is by far the best place for her. Thanks to all the lovely care staff, kitchen staff, cooks and domestics, I cannot thank you all enough as you all go out of your way to talk to Mum and myself, and it’s very much appreciated. Special thanks to the manager and her staff for all your help and support.

Following emergency respite care admission, my mother is now a permanent resident at St Clare House. The management and staff are caring and very helpful, especially dealing with my numerous enquiries with patience and understanding. It is also apparent that all St Clare House treat residents as individuals. During the pandemic, strict Covid procedures are in place to ensure the safety of residents.

Throughout the six years my mother has been a resident at St Clare House, she has always received very good care. Before Covid, activities and outings were a regular thing. During Covid, steps were taken to ensure safe visits from building a new large summer house for garden visits, to special regular weekly room visits, following all guidelines. Being on end of life now, she receives excellent care and attention. I would recommend St Clare House to anyone.

My mother has lived at St Clare's since December 2019. The patience and dedication of the whole staff team are second to none, and this has been really evident throughout the pandemic where they have received the best care and protection that could be offered. She is so well cared for in every aspect of her care. The meals are tasty and nutritious, the rooms are all homely, the communal areas are beautifully kept and welcoming, and the residents every need are met by the fantastic staff team.

St Clare's has responded to Covid rules throughout. Every effort to keep the family informed has been 100%. The staff are caring and very helpful. We could not be happier with the care our mother has received during her stay.

My mum has been in St Clare's since January 2012. She has gradually become more dependant on care as the years go by and St Clare's have always provided excellent care for her. The management and staff are all very sympathetic and caring and the activities provided for the residents have always been to a high standard. I have been around at mealtimes and the food is always freshly cooked by the resident chef and choices are provided. I am confident that my mother is in the best possible hands at St Clare's.

The manager and her staff cared for my mum for the last several years. Everyone including all the domestic staff went above and beyond to make sure mum was well cared for, nothing was too much trouble for them and they all treat her like a member of their own family. In her last few days when family couldn’t be there, a member of staff sat with her at all times. At the time of her passing, someone was with her, the dignity and respect we received from them was second to none and nothing was too much trouble for them.

I cannot praise St Claire's enough, especially the events lady. She does a lot with the residents. Also the staff are brilliant. As are the manageress and owner.

The manager and all her team have shown care and respect to my Father and me (as a visitor). At all times nothing is too much trouble. I only need to ask. The home provides a loving environment, the entertainments coordinator is very good with all the residents with entertainment and days out etc., I would recommend this care home to anyone who needs a caring and safe/loving environment.

We are very happy with the care our Mother receives here. The staff are always happy to speak to us, give feedback on her. She is happy here, for us as a family this gives us peace of mind. The home caters for her needs very well.

My Mum has been living in St Clare House since March 2016.... As a family, we are confident she is loved and cared for by a team of highly professional (fun-loving) people. Whenever we call in to see Mum or ring.... we are always greeted with positive/informative feedback on Mums day. This is not just a care home...it feels like home - the food is always beautiful and fresh (varied) and residents always have a choice. The staff are not only there for Mum's every need - they constantly offer support and advice to the family.... which means so much at this difficult time in our lives. Something hugely important to us is.... it's clear to see all the staff work together extremely well, making a very happy relaxed atmosphere. We would highly recommend this home to anyone .... not only for the way it is managed, there is a fantastic events co-ordinator who works very hard with activities and outings tailored to every need.

I find the members of staff at St Clare House, Hull, caring and professional. They have varied activities led by an excellent entertainment co-ordinator, the kitchen chefs are excellent; also sociable. I enjoy my hourly weekly visit when I see friends.
