View Full Details of Beech House Care HomeThe staff are caring and conscientious. If a resident has any combination of disabilities together, like deafness and sight loss together with reducing skill with words, they are open to adapting their attitudes and processes as far as they can. They are happy to be supported by an attorney who they acknowledge will know more about the resident than they do. We all know the present constraints of the health service but the friendliness, efficiency and welcome are still excellent. It is far beyond the worse performing homes, of which I have personal experience. We are very lucky to have Beech House Care Home in our small town. No one should worry about their relatives who have the chance to live here.
We found Beech House to be caring, filled with love and laughter with lovely food and no nasty smells.
Excellent care given. Very friendly and always make sure they can help. They work very hard but they never show it. Such lovely staff and so patient with the residents. The rooms are always kept clean.
Mum enjoyed her respite in Beech House Care Home, she appeared to have been well looked after and seemed to have had an enjoyable time.
The great team at Beech House Care Home, Barton did a wonderful job and I know my mum was well cared for and she made friends with many of the staff who were always cheerful and we're happy to give her their time.
I like the time when we do activities. I love the some and the food is goody goody. The staff are all helpful
My mum feels that she is not happy having sandwiches every night, she would like a variety of different things, other than that I think you're doing a lovely job looking after my mum and reassuring her when she is down and upset.
Everything is very good.
Excellent, professional caring staff and management. The home provides great facilities and comfort like being home from home. Care, nothing is too much trouble. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. I would recommend to family and friends. Thank you for looking after my mother-in-law.
The carers are extremely helpful and caring. The food is good. I am not pressurised into doing anything I don't want to do, but I am encouraged to try to be more independent. My room is comfortable. I can enjoy a laugh with the staff. The rooms are well cleaned. The management is efficient and caring. I am impressed that the drinks trolley comes around regularly and every night we get supper.
I viewed Beech House for my Mum-in-law. The home is very very welcoming, the staff are all fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. All of the staff go above and beyond anything they need to. I couldn't have found a better home for my Mum.
I feel well looked after, I like the food it is very nice. I like the activities here.
Enjoyed it and good company. Very nice room. Friendly staff and very helpful.
Both of my parents have been cared for at Beech House. The thing that stands out for me is the way it is so obvious that the staff really do care for them. Not just for their day to day physical needs but they do everything they can to ensure that they are as happy as they can be. They have gone the extra mile repeatedly. I don't think my parents chose to do any activities!
The visit was very welcoming to me - all the staff were very friendly. It felt like a very safe place to come to visit - all safety procedures were taken care of regarding covid.
I have enjoyed living here. The staff are helpful and understanding.
The care home staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome when visiting the home, and have managed to make the new Covid testing as stress-free as possible. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them for either respite or for permanent residential care, they have done an amazing job under the most difficult of circumstances and I am extremely grateful. Thank you everyone.
I feel good here.
I am more than satisfied with the cate my sister has in Beech House and have nothing but praise for all the staff who are always kind and cheerful to their residents and visitors.
I feel communication is a large let down for the care home. Some staff knows things and others don't, or don't want to know. There are delays over shift changes leaving my parents alone. Breakfast is not always the same time as there are no staff or staff are late. Sometimes, my Mum goes fourteen hours without a drink. She is bed-bound or chair-bound and has to be hoisted into these. A little more time and communication with my parents is required.
