My Mam has been in Ryton Towers for 2 months now and has settled really well. She has a great relationship with all staff who are all very caring, sympathetic, happy and professional in their roles. I know she's safe and being cared for which puts my mind at ease. Thank you everyone for everything you do for us.
My aunt loves the "hotel" that she is staying in. The difference in her is amazing, since she has become a resident she is more outgoing and sociable. The staff are exceptional and all take care and time to cater to the needs of my aunt. She has decorated her room with flowers, butterflies, and ornaments from home, with lots of family photos on the wall. They have activities twice daily with regular outings to the local community. Ryton Towers has given us as a family peace of mind knowing that she is safe and very well cared for.
Excellent quality, care is of a high standard, staff are caring and efficient. Food standards are very good. They arrange entertainment and activities on a regular basis including trips out. Overall, a very pleasant environment for the residents to enjoy.
Mam was adamant she would never go into a care home, ever. As her dementia got worse we opted to send her for respite which she was looking forward to. She loved it. When the time came (May 2024) the only option for her continued safety was care. She was so excited to be going back to Ryton Towers and has had a fantastic experience since that date. This removed so much pressure and guilt from me and seeing Mam so relaxed and happy is wonderful. It certainly has given her a new lease of life. Every member of staff I have met is very professional and in general, the whole atmosphere is friendly and inviting, with always lots of activities if Mam chooses to join in. She did not at first but now is there for most things. Loves the days out. The management team at Ryton Towers keeps me informed in between my visits to see her. I thank you for taking such good care of my precious, funny and delightful Mam.
The staff are friendly, fun, caring, and energetic which gives a great atmosphere. They are always there to listen to what we think would be nice for Dad. They are always lovely with our gorgeous dad. Thank you to all the staff.
The standards were excellent. The food was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
My dad was sent for respite following breaking his hip from hospital. From the minute he got there he was treated well. I was so upset leaving Dad but was assured he would be good and recommended leaving him to settle in. I was constantly on the phone checking on him and was reassured especially when I did see him. He does activities and has been out in the community. Something I never thought I would see.
My dad is really well looked after. The staff are wonderful and make Ryton Towers a place of safety. I can visit whenever I want and am always received well, especially by the office staff. The carers are amazing and appear to enjoy their job, treating the residents with kindness, care and dignity.
This is a lovely home, the staff and managers are really friendly and caring - they work very hard all day. My dad really enjoys the food and snacks. He enjoys listening to music so he loves it when they have live bands and singers on. He also loves going out for a drive and has been out on the minibus a few times. It would be great if they could have their own minibus! The gardens are beautiful so it’s lovely seeing the residents outdoors enjoying the sunshine and activities. We had a lovely time at the afternoon tea on Sunday, they provided an impressive spread. Thank you so much for taking care of my dad.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are always attentive towards Dad. He is in very capable hands. Dad enjoys his meals and has nothing but praise for his care at the Towers. The management team always listen to and act upon any concerns we may have and are extremely friendly. We are always welcomed by the staff. They do a difficult job, but are always professional and pleasant.
A high level of care is provided, with regular activities for the residents. Staff members are always available to discuss any issues, either on the phone or in person. The care home is a clean and caring environment.
Ryton Towers is brilliant. My parents moved in 2019 (Mother now sadly passed away) and we could not be happier. The standard of accommodation, care, cleanliness and food is exemplary. The carers are professional, kind, super competent and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, both for the residents and for their families or visitors. Most importantly, my dad loves being there. Many thanks.
Mam has settled into Ryton Towers straight away. They have been very helpful and so friendly to both Mam and family. She has her room looking like her home.
Overall, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Staff are always encouraging the residents and there are always activities going on for the residents to join in with. It's a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food menus are excellent with plenty to choose from.
Staff are very friendly and caring, but most importantly, there are always a range of activities for the residents to enjoy and some of the day trips seem, to me, to be very enjoyable! If ever there is an issue relating to my mother, I am notified with prompt efficiency.
The care and compassion shown to my mum is second to none. Staff are very friendly, but always professional and helpful. Food excellent and drinks always available.
Very friendly. Clean and well kept. Nice surroundings.
Since my partner has been a resident, I have been extremely happy with his care. I highly recommend this care home. They are patient, caring and care for his social needs.
My mum has recently moved to Ryton Towers from her home in North Yorkshire. I am so grateful for the constant kindness and support from all the staff. They have enabled Mum to feel safe, secure and to settle in really well. We have been able to bring ornaments and put pictures on the wall in her room to make it feel more familiar. There is a great variety of activities running daily and though Mum doesn't join in all of these, she is regularly told what's happening. The dining area is lovely with a great variety of food and the whole home is kept beautifully clean and tidy. The staff are always ready with smiles, have positive attitudes and are always discreet. The staff have been happy to listen to myself and Mum and make suggestions to help her adapt and be more comfortable. I really can't thank the staff enough!
We had such a happy visit yesterday to see my cousin, the staff were so very helpful. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the care worker, but the lady could not have been more helpful, bringing in an extra chair for my husband who has mobility problems, and taking a photograph of the three of us with him, we were unable to visit him on his actual Birthday but she kindly promised to have the birthday cake cut with other residents on Sunday when it was his birthday. As we had travelled a long way the lady also extended our visit and made it possible for him to go for his lunch a little late. She obviously was a very caring lady and had an excellent relationship with him. We all felt happy and reassured that he was in the right place and receiving excellent support and care. Thank you.
