View Full Details of Archers Court Nursing HomeMy dad has been at Archers Court for nine months and the care he gets is fantastic. Staff (nurses, carers, management) there is nothing too much trouble for them. They are all very reassuring with any questions I have about my dad. My dad gets exceptional care. I can turn up unannounced call (visit) and made to be made very welcome and to see my dad settled and happy. Thank you to everyone in Archers Court for continuing looking after my dad x
My sister was admitted to Archers Court in Farringdon at the beginning of October last year and the whole family are so thrilled with the care/welcome and love that she and all the family receive from the dedicated staff here. The change which we see in my sister is so, so encouraging. She is content and happy in herself living here (which is the total opposite to how she was in the previous home she was in) therefore not only has Archers and their staff brought real contentment to my sister but the 'peace of mind; which we, as her family now have knowing that she is in a wonderful, caring and loving environment - money cannot buy. The home itself is always clean/tidy and no 'unpleasant smell' is ever the opposite if we call in when a meal is being prepared - the food looks (and tastes lovely my sister tells us). Definitely a home we recommend to our contacts.
I have found all staff to be very caring, friendly, helpful and supportive.
I've been visiting a friend for over 2 years, I've been treated with respect from the staff very helpful. Medically excellent.
My daughter is a resident here. I am extremely happy with her care. She is well looked after. Carers do a good job she is safe. The home is beautifully kept so clean and beautiful decor is well maintained. I have no complaints the food looks lovely and is served beautiful dining rooms are wonderful also the bedrooms are beautifully kept.
I want to express my gratitude for renewing my trust in the caregiving field. Since I first encountered Archers Court I've felt embraced and comforted knowing that my mother has found a truly special place with the Archers Court family. The management and all the team are outstanding. They have consistently provided nothing but compassion and assistance. Their dedication to exceptional dementia care has truly touched my heart. I couldn't have wished for a better home for my mother and cannot thank you all enough.
Having visited a number of times, including a cold call first visit, I have found all of the staff to be extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The care is over and above my expectations and the cleanliness of the care home is exceptional.
I visited my aunt who recently moved into this wonderful home. From the moment I walked through the door, there was a lovely caring atmosphere within the building. All the staff I met were really warm and friendly which feeds into the happy demeanour of the residents. Plenty of stimulation and activity for the residents to get involved in should they wish to. Very clean and tidy establishment which is clearly well run and organised.
Like many my husband does not want to be in a 'home.' Some days are an uphill battle for his family and the staff. Nothing is right - he is lonely and bored, he won't eat, personal hygiene doesn't happen and food goes out of the window or down the toilet. Despite this he does like the staff who are friendly and helpful. He sounds intelligent initially but is a recluse. He does not get involved in activities and remains in his room most days. This can be a problem. He won't go and survey food choices but relies on what is brought - that can be monotonous. He is very 'picky' about food and is losing weight. He rarely uses the shower, each time is a new experience but he does need help. residents regularly urinate outside his door which upsets him. I do feel for the cleaning staff - small in number - large building and lots of accidents to clean up.
My dad has been in the care of this home for over a year. I have full confidence and peace of mind that he is being looked after to the manner of which he deserves. The hard-working staff through the home deserve full recognition for the care they provide
My father has been a resident now for 15 months. I have nothing but praise for the staff as they do a marvellous job in the hardest of circumstances. I know that since my father was placed at Archers Court I can go to work knowing that he is well cared for. He had a 21st birthday party we will never forget.
Management and staff are excellent. Without exception all staff are extremely knowledgable and caring and are on top of any situation that can arise. Always pleasant and smiling they are an asset to the establishment. Residents are always being entertained with all sorts of activities. I feel that our resident could not be in a better place or have better care than in Archers Court Nursing Home. Well done to all and keep up the excellent service you all provide.
Your staff at Archers Court are all the very best anyone could hope for to care for loved ones. There is always someone to help and entertain the residents. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Your company is very lucky to source such caring people, and thank you all.
This is how all dementia care should be conducted. My Grandma moved to Archers Court from a different home, and the difference in her in just a couple of days is remarkable. She is so happy here and it’s clear to see why. Firstly, the staff are incredible. Every single member of staff I have seen is so friendly and wonderfully caring, and cannot do enough for my grandma. There are plenty of staff everywhere you walk, so I feel safe in the knowledge that my Grandma is safe too. The home has been refurbished with spacious bedrooms and lovely, relaxing communal areas leading onto very pretty gardens. The place is spotless and smells clean! There are numerous activities for the residents. I also love that residents can be encouraged to do things for themselves such as their own laundry room and even a woodwork room! There is a lovely hair salon and sensory room upstairs too, as well as a pool table! Such a lovely relaxed atmosphere, a world away from other care homes I have visited.
We are very happy with the experience we have had at Archers Court. We have always found the staff helpful and caring. Any visitors and friends who have visited have all praised their experience with the staff and his care.
My dad has been at Archers Court Care Home in Sunderland since May 2023 and I cannot rate them high enough for their care. The activities and events are just superb. Most recently, they put a 3 course meal on for the residents and their partners for Valentine's Day and it was so special. Anything we need is never a problem, the staff are all amazing! I cannot rate this care home enough. Just wonderful! Thank you!
The staff including the cleaning staff and management are all excellent, caring and compassionate to all residents which includes my father. They put daily activities on every day to keep my dad and other residents active and stimulated. I can not praise the whole team enough and can only give my heart felt thanks and appreciation.
My mam has been a resident since January. From day one, she has been made welcome and is cared for and looked after great by all the staff, nothing's a bother. Well done to all staff and management. When visiting, you are always made welcome and there're always plenty of activities going on.
Dad has been here for four months. His overall health and well-being have improved immensely. He has gone from leading a very lone existence to being much more inclusive, lively and happy. Can't thank the very caring and happy staff enough. They are always so helpful and welcoming. A very big thank you from me and the rest of my family.
As a family we cannot thank Archers Court Care Home enough for the care they showed us as a family. Dad was admitted to Archers Court in March 2022, we were welcomed into the warm, bright, clean and airy home, it felt very cosy. Dad had a wonderful time there and enjoyed lots of inclusive activities, along with the other residents. The staff were always very professional yet friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble and the care Dad received was exemplary. In particular, in his last few weeks, Dad's care exceeded all our expectations, we didn't think that was possible, but they took the best care of all the family. Thank you just doesn't seem enough, simply amazing, Archers Court!
