My brother has been a resident in this care home for a period of years. In all this time I must say the care given to him and me when I visit is excellent. If I am upset about brother I am treated with the upmost care, ready to listen to me.

Ashlea Lodge is a fantastic care home, the carers and the management are so attentive to the needs of the individuals, and the communication with our family has been excellent. Since my Mam transferred here from another residential home the difference in her is unbelievable. The quality of care, both individually and collectively is first class, the hubs the home has in place are excellent, and having specialist dementia carers ensures that our family feel assured that our mams needs are understood and met. Management takes a real interest in checking in with us to ensure all aspects of care are being met, and the team are always engaging whenever we visit. A big thanks goes out to all the team at Ashlea Lodge, they are all a real credit to the home and the care sector overall. Thanks!

The staff are very reliable and respectful when my Auntie needs some help. They are all so welcoming whenever myself and/or relatives come to visit. All the facilities are always clean and are always spotless.

My Mother has been in this care home for a while and since she entered she has had great care from all the staff. They have really good patience with residents. Mum has all her needs catered for and I am kept informed of any problems that may occur with my Mother. All the staff are great and really friendly from admin personnel to senior management. I wouldn't want her to anywhere else.

This care home is fabulous! My Mam has been here for nearly 2 years. The staff are amazing, caring, kind and considerate. They even remember family (ie me) by name! They treat residents like family; and give them cuddles if a resident asks (aka Mam). I'd recommend 1000% after my Mams other 5 failed care home placements!

The staff are very caring. I visit daily and they even take an interest in my well-being. My wife gets taken care of very well. I am grateful for all of the staff and the care they give.

My sister-in-law is in this home. The staff are really good and caring. Previously my mother-in-law was also a resident. The staff knew my sister-in-law from then. They show genuine care for her. All of the staff are great.

I find the staff very friendly and helpful and see to my dad's needs and a very friendly atmosphere. My dad has settled in very well, his room has everything he needs it's very clean and comfortable. We were asked what food Dad liked as he is a vegetarian. I am very happy with the care my dad is receiving.

All staff, without exception, are welcoming, kind and very caring. My dad has settled in well and his needs have been accommodated in a timely manner. My dad enjoys his meals which are nutritious and tasty.

The staff are amazing and go above and beyond for the residents. The place is clean and tidy with good food options and caters for everyone's needs. Entertainment is great and there is always something going on. Father-in-law seems happy and settled here. More than happy with his care.

The staff at Ashlea Lodge are brilliant, second to none. This is the second member of our family and the staff literally treat the residents like their own family. The building is kept very clean and tidy and staff are always on the go ensuring residents have the best care.

My first visit to this care home today and I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and also the number of staff in the area I was visiting. Security to get into the home was good and staff were very obliging and my family member was well cared for.

We are very happy with the care and support that we are getting also the lovely environment, rooms and help we are receiving. Meal and drinks are all very nice and catered to the individual needs. If required the rooms are deep cleaned and are well equipped, the staff are all very welcoming and are very kind and friendly to everyone.

After being cared for by Ashlea Lodge Care Home (reconnect unit) for 4 years my wife unfortunately passed away peacefully in December 2024, the staff at the home, in particular the reconnect unit, are without exception the most dedicated, caring, patient and well-trained personnel you could possibly ask for. Their love and dedication to the residents is difficult to express in words and I cannot thank them enough for how they looked after my wife and how they also helped me in so many ways.

Excellent provision provided for my Mam, all of the staff are amazing. My mother's wishes and personality are considered in every aspect of her care and well-being. The manager and her team have a professional but friendly approach which helps family members feel at ease about their relative's time in the care home. Each member of the team contributes to a loving and well-organised place for the residents to be safe and well cared for.

Always find the staff to be really pleasant and helpful every time we call to see my aunty. Nothing is too much trouble and they always offer me a brew after my long journey, the place is very clean and tidy.

The staff are amazing with the residents. Friendly atmosphere around the place. All Staff go above and beyond. Good variety of entertainment. Meals are very good and my sister enjoys them, everything is nice and clean. Thanks for looking after her.

We were unable to care for my Mam on our own any longer, after 3 years of trying. We were recommended to view Ashlea Lodge by a family friend. The staff are more like family friends. Nothing is too much bother and I love how we're able to make our own coffee or tea for us and Mam, whenever we visit. We're also impressed by the nursing staff, they are on top of all of Mam's meds and Mam has even put on some weight, which is brilliant. Mam isn't a typical 80-year-old lady. She likes to watch football and rugby, enjoys sports of any kind, so the staff organised a group trip to the dog races and a Sunday lunch for everyone, too. We, as a family, can't recommend everyone enough, the entire staff go above and beyond for everyone. It may sound strange to say this, but I can now, finally, sleep at night, without having to worry that Mam is safe, secure and healthy.

My auntie has been in the home for just over 1 year, previously my nanna, her mam, was a resident in Ashlea Lodge. The staff are amazing they genuinely care for the residents. The home is always clean and everyone is so friendly. When my auntie needed the care we didn't hesitate in putting her here as she was familiar with the staff and they were amazing. Thank you for all you guys do for her.

All of the staff are the most caring and patient people I have ever come across, sometimes in the most difficult circumstances. I have witnessed some really abusive behaviour from some of the residents which has been met with a calming and caring attitude. I cannot praise them highly enough.
